Prototype link not showing rater images

Issue with raster images. All Jpgs, PNGs and one .mp4 file appear correctly within the editor and internal preview but when viewing “Share” prototype link, the preview link loads with blanks — for any of those files. Vector assets appear fine. What is the issue? 

I have tried all of the following with clearing cache multiple times: 

  • copying / re-pasting the images
  • re-uploading each image asset
  • duplicating the file to try a new prototype link
  • Clearing cache
  • restarting
  • testing in incognito and on mobile / different devices (same blanks appear)

Seems to be an issue with the link itself / Figma server?

Please advise.

Hey ​@Dwarren , Celine from the Community Support team here! Thanks for the detailed report and for outlining the troubleshooting you’ve already completed.

Figma’s status page currently shows all systems as operational, with no reported incident affecting prototypes. Images in prototypes can sometimes be blocked by browser extensions, content blockers, VPNs, or network restrictions. You can also check our Troubleshooting checklist here.
However, since you’ve reproduced the issue in incognito mode, on mobile, and across different devices (and only raster images and video are affected), I’d like our support team to investigate the file and prototype directly.

Please submit a bug report directly in the Support Hub / Type “Report a bug, Contact an agent” / Click Start a chat and select Enter and follow the prompt.
Then, in the form, please include:

  • The affected Figma file and prototype links (and grant "Can View" access with support-share@figma.com. This allows us to reproduce the issue and investigate)
  • The approximate time the issue occurred
  • A short screen recording showing the editor preview and shared prototype
  • Your browser and operating-system details
