I was changing a color and somehow it started horizontal scrolling. I have checked everything, there is no setting on Prototype for me to stop this, I’ve tried all the settings changes and topics that were listed on the Figma help pages and on Google. Nothing is stopping the horizontal scrolling! I’ve even created new documents, added a shape and it’s still scrolling horizontally! I have no idea what happened and no idea how to stop all my files from scrolling right off the screen. Help!Video of my screen going crazy on multiple files. No Prototype settings at all.  

I’ve been experiencing this for months. did sync & unsync, publish & unpublish, and don’t ask how many times I had install & reinstall. but it still doesn’t work. the above is my screenshot on figma working file, below is the screenshot on my design system. on the working file it doesn’t updated, why is that? (in philomena accent)  

  All the primitives have been selected to HIDE and it still shows up under APPEARANCE. Why?

Hi,I’m using Figma Beta. And in the last version 125.9.3, there is no more the Auto-Layout section in the inspector. So I’ve to get back to Figma when I want to change something in my layout. I closed and re-started the app many times.

Hi everyone,I’m learning Figma by making a Spotify mobile design clone. In the search section, I created a status bar (fixed at the top) and a search bar below it.When I prototype and scroll, the search bar hides behind the status bar instead of stopping just bottom of status bar. I can’t simply group the status bar and search bar together, because there’s a section in between.I’m attaching two short videos:1.Current prototype → shows the issue (search bar hiding behind status bar).2. Expected behavior → what I’m trying to achieve (search bar sticks just below status bar).Has anyone faced this issue? For the past few months I’ve been able to see my images on my file but for the past few days all the previews have disappeared & I’ve tried to update Figma, update my computer, clear my Figma cache and nothing has worked. The images are still within the Figma but I just can’t view them

Hello! I want to copy a gradient from illustrator and paste it in figma as a vector. I tried importing it as an svg but the gradient appears as an image, not a vector. Also, direct copy paste doesn’t work either. Is there any solutions or should I create the gradients from scratch in figma?Thank you!

When I try to apply a blend mode to the color of an element, there is a high chance that the setting will not succeed. It may even revert my modified color values to the previous ones or select other layers.I will give an example next: 1.select some layers2.use color blend mode effects3.the text was not set to the Plus Lighter blend mode

Hello,As a teacher at two interactive design schools, I use two edu accounts (I also have a basic personal account). One edu account per school, as their educational programs are not the same, with the appropriate email address. I therefore received a verification message for both schools. One of the accounts has been validated, but when I try to validate the second one, it tells me that I have already validated it, or that I have exceeded my verification limit (while still showing me the countdown and notification to verify it). How can I resolve this?

Is there a way to create a page with multiple prototypes and each of those prototypes have different permissions?Example:File 1 is accessible by the enterpriseWithin File 1 is Page 1 that contains 3 different prototypes. Those prototypes each have different starting points.Prototype 1 is intended to be shared with the internal team so no password is needed.Prototype 2 is intended to be shared with clients or users so it needs to have a public link with password protection.Prototype 3 is intended to be shared with other clients or users so it needs to have a public link with password protection.From what I understand, the prototype links all change when you change one of the permission settings and i’ve experimented with branching the file but that feels like an extra thing to keep track of. Am I missing anything?

I can’t seem to reset the overrides / changes I made to a component instance in Figma Slides. This is a missing link in what could be a USP feature against other presentation builder software!

We wrote stories and linked it to figma components(via copy link to selection cmd+L) within the stories. We then did branching and started rolling out incremental updates, but now on merging a branch, the pasted Figma links are taking the users to a cover page and not the component.Is this normal? How do you work when the components are getting incremental updates? 

Hi,I figured out a bizarre behavior when I try to rezise instance of component.It happens after last Figma’s update Figma Desktop App version 125.7.5 (some days ago).I will try to explain it, in a short way :Legacy, I created a component Text which wraps a child instance of component Rte. This Rte component was created for utilties reasons : it display generic text for a bunch of differents others components.The 2 components Text and Rte by default use an auto-layout root wrapper and a fixed width (280px) which is define inside a variable. When I use instances of these components, I override the resizing from Fixed to Fill, in order to get responsive behavior with different viewports width.It worked fine, before the update.Now when I reset an instance of component which is wrapped as a child inside a component (screenshot 1)  the resize property is set on Fixed width using my variable of 280px (screenshot 2). I’ve read up on as many forums similar to this issue, but none seem to have a fix for our situation. Problem Summary: Icon colors occasionally revert to nested component colors instead of inheriting the main component's color tokens when switching sizes in icon-button instances.Component Structure: Nested component: .icon-button-configuration - controls button sizing  Main component: icon-button - wraps the nested component and manages color variables Visual of the bug:In the screens below, I’ve create an instance of the icon-button component and switched the size variant. The icon color sometimes changes back to white (nested component's color) instead of maintaining dark gray (main tonal component's token). The issue only happens with x-small, small, large, x-large.
