Hello,My “Themes” collection have a “Typography” folder.My “Primitive” collection also have a “Typography” folder. How am I suppose to know if a variables links to the Themes vs. the Primitive collection ?  

Hi everyone, I’m running into a strange issue with Figma Variables and component instances, and I’d really appreciate some help understanding whether this is expected behavior or a bug.I have a component called Title with a text property that is connected to a Boolean variable called uppercase. The variable controls whether the text is displayed in uppercase or normal case. I then publish this component as part of a design system.The problem happens when I update the variable/mode in the design system and republish it.For example:I create a Title component and connect its uppercase property to a variable. I use this component in another design and customize the text values for each instance. I update the variable mode in the design system, for example from uppercase = true to uppercase = false, and publish the update. Hello,I am a user of the Figma Enterprise version.To use the Code Connect feature, I created a Figma project, converted it into a library, and published it. However, when I clicked the 'Connect to components code' button to link the components to code, I discovered that a GitHub account belonging to another user was already connected.I understand that in an Enterprise environment, the integration between Figma and a GitHub account can be configured at a team or organizational level by an administrator. I would like to know if the current issue is caused by such a centralized setting or if there is another reason.Could you please let me know if there is a way to change the connection to my intended GitHub account or to disconnect the existing one and set up a new connection?Thank you.

Hey guys, I’m not even sure how to look this question up here. So apologies if it’s repeated.I recently started Figma, but I still use Photoshop as I’m more fluent at it, and slowly transferring my workflow (what can be transferrable) to figma.And one of those projects is using this shape in different contexts and sizes. Is there a way to make this on figma so i don’t have to manually grab each square and resize the lines every time?

I’m using the Figma Agent beta in Figma Design and I’ve reached the monthly beta limit.I see the option “Request free extra credits”, which opens a form titled “Request additional beta credits” and asks what I’ve been using Figma’s agent for.Can someone confirm who receives and reviews this request?Is it reviewed directly by the Figma team as part of the Agent beta program, or is it sent to the admin of my Figma team/organization?I’m specifically asking about the beta credits request for Figma Agent, not the regular AI credits request flow.Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m facing an issue with the icon behavior in my designs, I have the original Icons as components with a set color variable.When using them inside other components (nested) and changing their color variant, everything works perfectly, but then without me touching them they switch to showing the original color of the icon component in the view.the actual variable selected is preserved and correct, so it doesn’t actually like switch back to the original variable, it will say that it’s using icon-black for example, but in the viewport it will be showing icon-blue and even the stroke width variable is not applied while showing the setting is correct.I don’t know if this bug is related to slots, I’ve been using them heavily lately.also just duplicating the component will create a fixed one.sometimes undoing some of the other changes in the page (no one touched the actual component with the issue) it fixes itself.even like deleting it and leaving figma for a minute and then undoi

Hi Figma team,My Figma AI credits are draining unusually fast — they're being depleted after just 3–5 prompts, even though I'm using the default AI model. This doesn't seem right for normal usage.Could you help me understand what's happening here? Specifically:- Why are so many credits being consumed per prompt on the default model?- Are there settings or best practices to make my credits last longer?Happy to share screenshots or my account details if that helps. While using Figma motion, the animated frames or components set to play once are resetting to loop animations, every time. In present mode as well as on file.  Please suggest a fix urgently.

Hi, So our team DS system icons its pretty much all setup with a locked aspect ratio + a variable applied. This is from all the way back when these options were announced, I think was sometime last year, anyways. Recently we dont know why happened, But the aspect variable applied to that icon that is nested in a button (for example) can't be change anymore when using it across the any page. I think was up till few weeks ago all of that was working well but not it isn't. Please see attached images I tried creating a new button and nest any icon into it, then create a component out of it, inside. the component u can see the dimensions of the icon still has that variable applied, and I can just click on it and change the size easily. But once I copy that component and put it on any frame outside , the dimension variable doesn't show as applied anymore. And BTW all of this is happening across the whole platform which is dozens of files, this file im showing here is a the demo page inside t

Summary:Color swatches for aliased variables in the Variables panel show a "?" icon instead of the resolved color — even though the underlying data is fully valid and the color renders correctly everywhere it's actually applied (e.g. a layer's Fill property).Context that may be relevant to the root cause:We use a three-layer token architecture across three variable collections: Primitives (raw values) → Semantics (aliases to Primitives) → Components (aliases to Semantics). The "?" issue only appears on the Components layer — variables that are aliases pointing to OTHER aliases. The Semantics layer, where variables alias directly to hard/concrete Primitive values (not to another alias), does not show this issue. This suggests the bug may specifically affect alias chains with more than one hop, rather than aliasing in general.What we've verified:Full scan via the Plugin API of every alias reference: 100% resolve to valid, existing variables. Hi Figma team,There's a user I don't recognize on my account with a view only seat. I know many Daves, but this person’s email address includes their last name, and I don't know anyone by that name. I'm on the professional plan so I don't have access to activity logs. There is no info in the “last active” column and their join date is “joined prior to tracking”.I've tried clearing my desktop app cache and restarting. I can see this user in the desktop app (Mac version 126.8.16) and Chrome (149.0.7827.201).

Hi Figma team,Right-click suddenly stopped working on the Figma Design canvas on my iPad. It was working normally until yesterday.The important detail is that right-click still works everywhere else in Figma, including the Layers panel and Figma menus. It only does not work directly on the Design canvas.I am using an iPad with a mouse.I have already tried:Refreshing Figma multiple times Completely restarting the iPad Creating and testing with a new Figma account Opening the file in Safari Opening the file in the Figma app Checking that “Ctrl + click opens right click menus” is enabled Disabling “Show Agents on canvas” Trying Ctrl + left-click Trying Command + right-click Trying a long right-clickNone of these solved the problem.Right-click works in the Layers panel, but not on the canvas. This makes normal workflows such as grouping layers, changing layer order, renaming, and other context-menu actions very difficult because I normally use the right-click menu for these operations.This

Hi @Figma Support team, I am writing to report an issue regarding access to Figma Agent - Skills (Beta) for my team members on our Professional plan.Although all team members have paid, full-access Professional seats, they are unable to view or access the Skills feature under Figma Agent.For reference: Image 01 (Admin view): Shows the "Agent - Skills" option visible and fully accessible. Image 02 (Team member view): Shows that the option is missing entirely, despite the user having full access permissions. To troubleshoot, I created and published a custom skill directly to our team space to see if it would trigger access for them. When I try to right click (ctrl + click) on a layer on my Mac, it doesn’t open the default layer menu. It usually works again on second attempt. I have the “ctrl + click opens right click menus” option enabled.Interaction I am seeing when I ctrl + click:Expected interaction:

Hi Figma support,We are having a issue with in prototype mode for specific flow when navigating with keyboard arrow left and right voor next or previous frame in the flow. Description of the bug/issue When navigation through a prototype with your arrow keys left or right. The prototype stays stuck and is only able to navigate to the first 2 frames and doesn’t further through the whole prototype.   Reproduction path (Simple) Create 4 frames with previous en next buttons Link the next buttons to the next frame and previous frame Start prototype mode Click on the buttons you can go through the flow (works fine) Use keyboard keys left and right to go through the prototype (doesn’t work correctly) It gets stuck on the first and 2nd frame when navigating which keyboard arrows Figma in Chrome and Figma app Tahoe 26.6 , Chrome browser 150.0.7871.187 ,  Figma app 126.7.10 Trouble shooting we’ve done Relink all the frames Create a brand new file move the frame and relink Cut and Paste

When copy/pasting a component instance between Figma files, variable bindings on auto-layout padding (and likely gap) are silently dropped and replaced with static values — even though the property still displays a "linked variable" icon in the UI. Other variable-bound properties on the same node (fill, corner radius, typography) retain their live bindings through the same paste. This makes the padding/gap binding appear connected when it is not, and breaks any subsequent "Swap library" action for that property, since there's no live reference left to relink. The padding field still displays a variable-linked icon/pill after paste, visually indistinguishable from a genuinely bound property. Clicking into it opens the variable picker showing "No variables available" — the reference is dead. Fill, corner radius, and typography on the same pasted instance do resolve correctly to their source variable names when clicked, confirming this is isolated to padding (and likely gap/other auto-lay

 Our team has been using Figma for about a year. Around 10 days ago, our boards started behaving strangely, and some team members are seeing shaky and skewed images. The design images are 100% correct, and while they display correctly for some team members, they appear distorted for others. I’m attaching examples of the skewed images for reference.
