Figma Make - unable to submit AI prompts, error srid_EEJM7ETC7SRQM52PPXRNVPRZZ
I'm working in a Figma Make project and am currently unable to submit prompts to the AI agent - the request fails with the following error reference:
srid_EEJM7ETC7SRQM52PPXRNVPRZZ
(A related occurrence earlier today also produced srid_D79CXGWRPJS873PXJGW6VEHRJ, in case that's useful for correlating on your end.)
What I was trying to do: Submit a text prompt to Figma Make's AI agent asking it to edit a few markdown spec files (/files/*.md) in the project - routine edits I'd been making successfully in the same project throughout the day. The prompt submission itself fails before the agent starts working.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the Figma Make project.
- Type a prompt into the AI chat input.
- Submit it.
- Submission fails with the
srid_...error shown above.
Environment:
- Browser/OS: [fill in - e.g. Chrome 12x on Windows 11]
- Time of occurrence: 2026-09-10,
Additional notes:
- Reloading the page did not resolve it.
- This had been working normally in the same project earlier in the session, so it doesn't appear to be a persistent local/network issue on my end.
