Pasting Screenshot into AI Chat in Sections' canvas

Question

Last few days, I’ve noticed when I’m working on one of my design frames in the section and open a chat on the frame to do some hideous work; unfortunatelly it doesn’t operate properly if I add a reference screenshot. It tells me that it cannot see the reference image.

When I run the same prompt outside of the canvas it works.

Anybody having the same issue?

Hi ​@Toprak Erol Aydin, thanks for reaching out!Having the same screenshot work outside the canvas but go unrecognized in the frame’s chat sounds frustrating. Could you confirm whether you’re opening the Figma agent from the frame’s sparkle icon, or using a code layer’s chat? A short screen recording showing how you paste the screenshot and the response would help us narrow this down.For now, you can continue using the chat outside the canvas where you’ve found it works. Let me know the additional context, and we can continue troubleshooting this together.
