The Pencil tool is changing colors automatically and inconsistently without me changing any settings.Sometimes it draws in white, sometimes in black, and the behavior seems random. It also doesn't reliably detect the background color.Steps to reproduce:1. Select the Pencil tool (Shift + P).2. Start drawing on different backgrounds (black, white, colors, frames).3. Observe that the stroke color changes between white and black automatically.Expected behavior: Pencil should consistently use a color that has enough contrast with the background, or stay the same color as set by the user.Actual behavior: The Pencil tool switches between different colors randomly, even on the same background, without any change in settings.Why this is a problem: It interrupts workflow while sketching or wireframing. Hi,I have a figma EDU plan that I believe might have momentarily lapsed earlier this year. I just noticed on my credit card statements that I’ve been charged $20/month by Figma Inc since June 2025, but I’ve received no billing statement info at all via email, and I can’t seem to find a way to cancel or view my billing statements anywhere in Figma. I’ve tried contacting support but AI chatbot won’t let me talk to a real person since I have an EDU account. Can someone help me figure out how to cancel these charges? I’m out over $100 for something I never signed up and was never notified about.Thanks

Hello, We’ve been locked out to due an unpaid invoice. The support and sales teams have been of 0 help in our attempt to downgrade our plan.  We need immediate access and I’ve again sent an email to Support, Louisa and Micheal. We want to remain a Figma customer but the lack of comms and customer goodwill is astounding for a lack of a better word. Hey guys, We've just been blocked out of our Figma. This is completely unacceptable. You've given us 0 flexibility and provided us with no recourse in remedying the situation on our downgrade. We simply cannot and will not pay this exorbitant amount for the little usage we have. Hi Figma, I’ve been facing issues with the new Slot featureI have created a Row Component for my table, inside the Row Component I have a Slot that has 5 Cell Components in it. When I use my Row Component and adjust the Cells inside the Slot and then I Duplicate this entire mockup my table that has the Rows Component gets messed up and my Cells sizes shift/change.Also sometime this issue happens after a library update, library doesn’t need to be updating the Row Component its just any update could also trigger it.Can you please fix this issue as its causing me to need to clean up the design every time this happens to me.Thanks

Hi Figma team,I’m facing an issue with emoji rendering specifically in file names shown in the Figma Desktop app sidebar.Context: I use emojis in file names as category codes (this is part of our workflow). On Figma Web (browser), the emoji renders correctly. On another iMac with the same macOS version, the emoji also renders correctly in the Desktop app. On this specific iMac, the emoji does not render in the file name UI (it becomes invisible), although it works normally inside the canvas text. What I’ve already tried: Full clean reinstall of Figma Desktop Clearing all Figma caches and application support files Logging out and back in Disabling hardware acceleration Resetting macOS font caches None of the above resolved the issue.Since the emoji renders correctly in the browser and on another identical machine, this seems to be a Figma Desktop (Electron UI) rendering issue specific to this environment, affecting sidebar labels / file name rendering.Could you please advi

Hello FIgma support.Starting this morning I’ve been trying to access Figma with my work email and every time, I get the 422 error message. I have tried uninstalling, turning on and off, reseting, and the same message appears. I need help with this. I have updated my plan, and the payment has already been deducted from my account; however, my account is still showing as 'Free'. 

I’ve been using Cmd+V to paste URL to highlighted text, thinking it creates a hyperlink. It is one of the methods listed in a Figma Learn article regarding link creation, under “Use paste in place”. When I do this, the highlighted text gets underlined, which looks exactly like actual hyperlinks.  However, today I realised they don’t behave like one. Instead, they are just regular underlined text. Is there a way to retrieve all the URLs I’ve pasted into these text? I’ve linked many resources this way and I hope they haven’t been lost.

I’m trying to the enterprise package, to get this I have to contact sales which I have done 3 times now but no response. Can anyone help with this? I’m trying to get this done asap and its proving to be quite a tedious process.

Previously if you selected an element with a style on it and then clicked on the setting for the style and then revealed the eye dropper and clicked a color, it would change the style’s eyedropper color. Now it only changes the selected elements color, instead of changing the color ONLY in the style you just tried to edit. The only way to make it work now, is to actually unselect everything and then change the style directly using the style panel. I want the behaviour back because I often change the color directly on it’s application point, but that’s not longer possible. Please can you revert back to the previous way, so when I eye drop on a style setting on a style applied to a page element, it changes the style and automatically the style will still be applied/attached to the currently selected element. Currently the new bad behaviour disconnects the element from the style and adds the color directly to the element, instead of what it did before.

Description:When a large section is hidden on the canvas, resizing an object positioned above it causes the resized object to automatically move into the hidden section. Since the section is hidden, the object instantly disappears, even though it was not originally inside that section.Steps to Reproduce:Create a large Section on the canvas. Place an object (frame, shape, component, etc.) above the section (not inside it). Hide the section. Resize the object that is positioned above the hidden section.Expected Result:The object should remain in its original position/layer and should not be moved into the hidden section.Actual Result:The object is automatically placed inside the hidden section and disappears immediately because the section is hidden.Impact:This makes objects appear to vanish unexpectedly and can lead to confusion or lost work unless the hidden section is manually unhidden.

There’s a reproducible bug in Figma’s OAuth (not MCP) flow for private apps.If you are already logged into Figma with only an account that does not have access to your private OAuth app, then when you go to start the OAuth flow it crashes with a misleading error message:“OAuth app with client id {your client id} doesn't exist”Your app likely does exist, but Figma’s account selector is happening too late in the flow.Unfortunately there is no prompt=select_account parameter implemented by Figma.The solution is to completely sign out of Figma in the browser you are using to test the OAuth flow, then try again.I hope this saves time for people searching for this.

As of the last update, when you use the “Remove Background” tool, it deletes the original, whereas it used to just hide it. Using both versions to create a new image has been a major part of my daily workflow.If I start my duplicating the image, and only removing the background on one layer, it combines all layers into the result.Is there a way to restore the original functionality? Is anyone else experiencing this, or just me? Is there a workaround?

If the system detected any anomalies, it might be due to [possible reasons, such as network fluctuations, accidental operations, etc.].Now my account has been suspended, and my studies and daily design work are badly affected. I have access to a project through my account, and I need to understand who contributed to it. I paid for it to be done. There's a possibility of fraud. I need to know who contributed to the project and when it was created.

An component is updated and published, and update in another file. It won’t auto update, it only update after you double click on the screens. It’s so troublesome that you need to check every screens.
