AI Credits Refund

I’m sorry to hear you haven’t gotten an outcome you like while still using credits from your monthly limit; it sounds like it’s been pretty frustrating for you. When you say that it “crashes out”, are you seeing error messages or does something else happen and was this in Figma Make, or elsewhere within Figma (it sounds like Figma Make, but I wanted to verify)? From what you are describing, it sounds like it consumed credits but while not producing visible output. While credits are not re-issuable based on output quality or dissatisfaction with results, let me know if you are seeing error messages or it completely failing to produce anything even within the code view - I’ll help create a ticket for you with out support team so they can investigate and determine the next steps.

As for the consumption in general, AI credits are consumed based on the work Figma Make performs in response to a prompt. In Figma Make, an “output” includes any work the model completes such as generating or updating code or making changes to your file, even if that output doesn’t include anything that can show visually as a preview. If any such changes are made, including any follow up prompt to refine results, credits will be consumed based on the work performed and on refining that work with follow-up prompts. 

Having said that, If a prompt fully fails and no work is performed or output of any kind was generated, credits are not deducted. It sounds like in your case it must have actually performed some work. Can you click on the code icon at the top of Figma Make (it looks like this: < > )? Depending on what it produced, you may see that it built some of your app and has simply not added anything to visually show it in the preview yet. I also recommend reading our our blog article with tips on using Figma Make - it’ll really help you learn how to maximize your usage and get better results.

I AM WORKING WITH KLING I.6 IN FIGMA WEAVE  IT IS BY FAR THE WORST I GIVE A SIMPLE PROP BECAUSE IT CANT SEEM TO HANDLE A MORE DETAILED PROMPT AND IT STILL DOES NOTHING FIGMA SAY THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLY BECAUSE IT NOT A System FAILURE AND IT IS NOT ITS KLING FAILURE i WILL BE I  LOST LOTS OF CREDITS BUT THIS TIME i WANT THEm BACK AT-LEAST THE  LAST 54 CREDITs WHICH i KNOW THAT NOT ALOT SO IT SHOULD BE REFUNDED AND i WILL LET MY FRIENDS KNOW IT NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE SAYING BECAUSE IT JUST LEAVES YOU CREDIT LESS AND NO BODY SEEMS TO ABLE TO REFUND YOU YOUR CREDITS WHICH IS NOT FAIR AT ALL I AM REALLY DISPLEASE WITH THE SERVICE I BEEN PROVIDED REGARDED KLING 1.6 ALL THIS TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD IT IS WELL i DON'T SEE IT YOU SHOULD HAVE A PREVIEW SO WE CAN SEE SINCE YOU TAKING THE CREDITS NOT Figma I WILL STOP USING IT AND i WILL LET PPL i KNOW WHAT i  GOING THROUGH BECAUSE IT IS WRONG 

Hey, ​@SIM45. Thanks for taking the time to voice your frustration. Like I mentioned in my previous reply, credits are used if the agent performs any task - even if there’s no output. I can totally understand why this frustrates you, though, and why you might want a preview. Having said that, a preview isn’t really possible with generative AI without actually using up the credits to complete the task. One thing that's totally normal with generative AI is that it can give slightly different results each time - even for the same request. Think of it a bit like asking a colleague the same question on two different days: the core answer is usually the same, but the wording or approach might vary. That's just how AI works, and why previewing actual results wouldn’t really work.

While we aren’t able to refund the credits you’ve already used, the good news with Figma Weave is that you can view the credit cost in advance. It’ll appear at the top-right corner of your screen, next to the asterisk symbol (*). You can also do this from the Toolbox on the left side of the screen when hovering over a model.

One other thing I want to clarify is that Figma Weave credits are separate from the credits available to you within Figma Design and elsewhere. The article I linked mentioned that some models have different parameters that may affect the models price. Since Figma Weave offers a variety of models to choose from, you might want to check out others that balance cost versus performance better for you.

I WAS LOOKING FOR CREDITS BACK FROM Kling1.6       FIG MA MADE IT CLEAR THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE AND I MADE THAT CLEAR IN MY COMMENT SO DO NOT WASTE MY TIME WITH UNHELPFUL COMMENTS FURTHERMORE I WASN'T LOOKING FOR A RESPONSE AND I KNEW I WASN'T GETTING CREDITS BACK MY FRIENDS AND I DECIDED NOT  TO USE KLING1.6 IN FIG MA AND WE ARE HAPPY WITH THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMMENT ME BACK IT IS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY AT THIS POINT READ PEOPLE COMMENTS COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU RESPOND WITH A UNNECESSARY UNHELPFUL RESPONSES GOOD DAY!  

Respectfully, this is not the case. I am having the same issue with my Figma Make file. I am out of credits and it has failed to do anything at all 5 times while showing me a “something went wrong” error message after it fails.
