Subscription Cancellation and Billing Inquiry

I cannot confirm charges or cancellation status from here, but if you canceled your Professional plan, you keep access to Professional features until the end of the current billing period, and then the team downgrades to Starter.

For the accidentally upgraded seat, new paid seats on Professional are added to the next invoice, and if your plan has renewed under the updated billing model, they can be prorated from the day the seat was approved.

Please tell me which page shows you being moved back to Professional—such as Admin, Settings, or Billing—and whether your subscription is monthly or annual.

I can see you've got a couple of concerns here, the cancellation status and an accidentally upgraded seat..

On your Professional plan cancellation: If you've already cancelled, you'll keep access to all Professional plan features until the end of your current billing period, after which your team will downgrade to Starter. You can verify the cancellation status by heading to Admin → Settings → Plan — if it was successfully cancelled, you'll see that reflected there. 

On the accidentally upgraded seat: When a new seat is approved, it gets added to your next invoice. If your plan has renewed since March 11, 2025, new seats are prorated from the day of approval through the end of your subscription period. To stop the seat from carrying forward, you can downgrade that user to a free View seat.

  1. Go to Admin → Members
  2. Find the user in question
  3. Change their seat type to Viewer - restricted from the dropdown next to their role
