Hi, I’m trying to create an animation where I open an overlay (bottomsheet) and then navigate within the latter, by opening menus and sub-menus. I’d like to apply a simple push right or left animation with the possibilty to keep the matching layers (bottomsheet header) still while I swap overlays. Yet, it seems like this animation is not possible ? I can only select “Smart animate” or “move in”, which does not have the same feel in terms of navigation (either dissolves the changing content (smart animate) or replaces the whole overlay (move in) and doesn’t even keep the matching layers... Why would there be a limitation in terms of “Animation style” when swapping overlays, knowing that an overlay replacing another one with a push animation seems like a natural behavior (like two frames replacing one another, but within a frame). Does anyone have this issue? Is it a bug? Thanks for the help! :)

I recently upgraded my plan to Pro. I tried adding a few of my team to a project, but I’ve been asked to pay for a seat before they can edit the file I created. Is this how the pro plan works?

What happensI have a Frame inside a Component, the Frame width is set to a variable (with some Modes). Now I change it to be filled. I change the section Mode. I change the section Mode back again. Now the Frame in the Component is set to the variable again, instead of fill. Expected behaviorWhen I change width from a variable to a fill it should not change, regardless of me changing the Mode of the Section. Work aroundSelect the frame. Change the width from a variable to a pixels first – this will disconnect the variable for real. Now change the width to fill. Done! The bug and work around recorded 

As you can see from this picture, every single spot that should have an image is empty and is instead save as an upside down swatch, but it’s not actually applied to it.I suppose this has to do with how figma applies images as fills rather than treating them as images.If I open the SVG in my browser it looks fine, but if I can’t import it into illustrator then I can’t really do much of anything with this

Hi! I’m having trouble with these website pages:Drop down menus in 2nd and 3rd screens (see file) open up behind the activity list although the lists are lower in the layers panel. Don’t understand why on the first screen the drop down menu works fine and doesn’t affect the auto layout of other elements on the page while it’s placed on the top of the layers panel?     Can’t get the page to scroll normally, showing all the activities, despite there being an overflow and me selecting to scroll vertically. When trying to change the frame of the activities, auto layout doesn’t let me to crop the frame (see picture n.2)     Is there a way for me to make the pages change to another page after someone selects a specific option in the drop down menu? Is that something that is possible to prototype?  Thank you <3file

i tried exporting as png and it shows files could not be saved. remaining files would not be saved. i could do it earlier yesterday, but later and till now i cant export any frame. it’s really exhausting. Any idea on what i can do?

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to Figma, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. However, I’ve run into an issue with the hover interaction. I've used it throughout my project without any problems, but now, any new components I create with a hover state are flickering when hovered over. It's confusing because the same interaction has worked fine until now. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it? I'd really appreciate any help! (Attaching a gif for better understanding) 

I am trying to make recordings of me navigating through my prototypes so that I can upload it to my site. One recording will be a single scroll through a long page, and the rest is a multi-page prototype with clicking involved. What is the best way of doing this?I was trying to use quicktime on Mac to record  my screen while I scroll through the single long page manually. Although I start at the top of the prototype when scrolling, the recording cuts off the top of the page and makes it appear as if I’ve scrolled about 400px down from the top of the page - which does not match what I saw at the time of recording. Can anyone assist with this?

The layout of the design panle has been updated. I tlooks good but I can;t find the padding and spacing settings anymore. Can someone please help me. I googled and searched.

I have two accounts, one where I mainly work at xyz@xyz.pl and the other abc@abc.eu. I would like to transfer all projects from the xyz@xyz.pl account to the abc@abc.eu account and delete xyz@xyz.pl. How can I do this? I care about this very much because soon I will not have access to the xyz@xyz.pl account.

Hello!I’m trying to create plugin for Figma. I use React + ESbuilder. I have src and dist folders. My index.html contains:<div id="root"></div><script src="ui.js"></script>The problem is that plugin doesn’t see (or what?) ui.js. When I start plugin I see only empty screen.If I write JS code exactly in script tag — it works. But with external file it doesn’t work. There are no errors anywhere.What should I do to solve this?

Hi there, I try to modify texts in a variant of my « Select » component instance. I choose the « Open » state in the component properties menu, and when it is open I write « Text » in the first item. I put back the « Default State », I switch to the prototype mode, and when I click on the component, I see the old text of the master component. How do I keep editing texts in a select open in an instance component?You can see a video capture below :  

Hi everyone,I use Figma on the web, my macOS version is Sequoia 15.4.1. I have installed the Figma Agent and it said I can use local fonts on the web, but this is not working. I tried everything from clearing cache, restarting computer, refreshing page but Figma still doesn’t show the fonts under “Installed by You”. I also have the latest google chrome version. I can’t see the fonts in an existing Figma project and also not if I create a new file. Other programs on my mac like Adobe Illustrator show all fonts without an issue.Any solutions? Thank You!

I have been playing with Figma Sites recently, trying to get to grips with how it works.I created a Design separately that utilised component variables with Modes to allow for typography sizing between desktop and mobile variants. Once published, I can add the components to Sites (hero banner, content block etc) and switch between Desktop and Mobile variants with ease, HOWEVER, the type modes do not change.They appear to show up correctly on the Sites file, but when you come to ‘full preview’ or publish, the mode values are not applied!?It feels like possibly due to the way you need to build/design pages in Sites (desktop first, which IMO is odd) with a natural cascade down to mobile, there is a bug / conflict between setting an appearance mode on the desktop design and then trying to apply a different mode to the mobile breakpoint/design.I have tried a few work arounds - restarting, applying modes to both parent and sibling layers/components, clearing cache, but have had to result in

Hi,Situation: I have created an animated component set (text within a colored frame) where the only thing that should change is the color.What works: I can create an instance of this, re-size it smaller, prototype preview, and everything behaves as expected.What doesn't work: If I take the above instance, create a new component out of it, and create an instance of that, it seems that the sizing beyond the first variant of the original component set isn't respected.What I've tried: I’ve done a fair amount of research into this already and others have recommended applying autolayout and “hug” to the parent and child elements.How this worked out: I was able to get the colored frame from re-sizing, but for the life of me I can't get the text to stop re-sizing.Here's a screenshot of the component set (size_test-component_set), an instance of the component set nested in a new component (size_test-component), and an instance of that (size_test-instance). I designed an app, created a case study on a different page about 5 months ago decided to check on it today to make some edits and my whole case study is gone. Please help! this is one of my biggest projects.

After publishing my site, the layout displays correctly on desktop browsers. However, when I access the site using my iPhone XR, the layout breaks and appears as the desktop version instead of the mobile version.Steps to Reproduce: Publish a site using Figma Sites. Open the site on an iPhone XR using Safari or Chrome. Observe that the page initially shows the correct mobile layout for a brief moment, then switches to the desktop layout. Expected Result:The site should consistently render the mobile layout on mobile devices.Actual Result:The site briefly shows the correct mobile layout, but then switches to the desktop layout, breaking the design on mobile.Additional Info: The issue appears only on my iPhone XR. Tested using browser developer tools (device simulator) — works fine. A friend tested the same site on their phone and didn’t encounter the issue.
