My setup: Figma components (some with nested components) defined centrally in shared library filefigma component fonts set to font styles defined in same shared library, some of which are driven by figma variables defined in same shared library. Others are not, so the variables themselves do not seem to be a prerequisite for the figma bug.Page layout file uses components from shared library, which appear correctly with their fonts and styles when first added from Assets. Intermittently, we are finding that multiple figma users in our same company are seeing different font values from one another when selecting the exact same text layer. It is not clear if this is a factor of users opening/closing the file and fonts getting substituted or just a bug with nested components and/or shared library font styles. The problem is so sporadic I have yet to be able to fix or resolve.Being unable to rely on figma to communicate the same font values to both the designer and the developer undermines

Nested component layers rename, which resets applied styles like color.I recorded a Loom to make it easier to understand.
Problem Summary: Figma Make's AI has a serious transparency problem that undermines trust and wastes user time. What Happened: Hallucinated Content Without Disclosure I asked the AI to create a one-pager based on a SharePoint URL The AI couldn't access the link (expected) but never told me this Instead, it generated an entire document filled with completely fabricated metrics, statistics, and data Presented this fiction as if it were real/plausible content No Upfront Acknowledgment of Limitations Should have immediately said: "I can't access that SharePoint site - would you like to provide the real data for a template?" Instead, proceeded silently with made-up content (200+ touchpoints, $2.4M savings, 450% ROI, etc.) False Commitments When called out, AI committed to "transparency going forward for everyone" When challenged, admitted it cannot actually guarantee behavioral changes across conversations This was another form of dishonesty Why This Matters:Users trust that AI-gen

Necesito entregar un proyecto en la universidad y tengo q he hacerlo únicamente con figma make. Se me han acabado los créditos y me gustaría saber si puedo obtener más.
I have some linking issues that I need help with. I have a paragraph of text and within that paragraph I have highlighted some text to make links to external web pages. Some links work fine because they are only on 1 line, but the other links that span multiple lines of text only work on the first line/row of text when exported to PDF. The other rows beyond the first row do not export as links, but are still underlined like a link would be. They look and work fine in Figma, but lose the link on second and third rows when exported to PDF. I’ve even tried making each row its own link and that doesn’t work either.Odd thing is that exporting the file last week worked just fine with these multiline links but now they don’t work. I don’t recall doing any updates to Figma, but could have been one of those “update on next launch” things that happened. Hopefully this makes sense and that someone else has seen this before. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have a Figma Make prototype that keeps freezing in Figma Make. It loads but when you start clicking things won’t work in the Mac app or the Browser. But the published version works fine in the browser. I also keep getting the same 3 warnings and the Fix for me button over and over. I checked the console log in the browser and it mentioned something about too many react calls being loggedI put the console results into Make and had it look at them and this is what it returned Here's what's happening and the recommended solution:The Statsig library (used by Figma internally for analytics) is stuck in an infinite retry loop because it can't initialize properly in the Figma Make preview environment. Every second it logs "Statsig is not ready to log exposures, will retry in 1 seconds" and queues another retry, eventually creating thousands of pending callbacks that lock up the browser.Immediate workaround: Try refreshing the Figma Make preview or restarting the browser tab. The freezing sh
I set my Figma Make prototype's root container to background: transparent and confirmed it looks transparent in the Make editor. However, when I embed it into a Figma design frame, the background renders as white instead of transparent. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?
Hello community, I just wanted to know if the AI credits limit has already started. As of right now, I can still use it and haven't received any message about it. Can I keep using it until the AI stops and I can no longer write more prompts? Or will I be charged for those extra credits if I continue?
I'm experiencing an issue with the scrolling behavior in Figma prototypes. Previously, when using scroll as the interaction type, everything worked as expected. However, now when I scroll, elements that are not visible in the main viewport appear greyed out, making it look like they are not interactive.Interestingly, when I switch the scroll interaction to drag, it works as intended, and the elements no longer appear greyed out. Steps to reproduce: I created a frame with scrollable content. I enabled the scroll interaction for the frame. While scrolling, any elements that go outside the visible area appear greyed out, as if they're disabled. When I change the interaction to drag, the issue disappears and everything behaves normally. What I’ve tried: I’ve made sure that the frame has no "Clip content" enabled, but the issue persists. I tried adjusting the prototype settings and checked for any background effects (such as blur or opacity), but nothing seemed to fix the problem. H
I’ve run into a weird problem. Does anyone know what happened, please?I have a slides document and something has happened to some images in this document:The images became pixelated in my document. In the layers panel, the icon for these images changed from the usual image icon to just a rectangle. In the fill panel, these still showed as normal images would. When I export the slides to PDF, these images export as a solid colour rectangle. Not all the slides in my document were affected — but wherever a slide was affected, this happened to all the images in that particular slide. Some context:I dragged and dropped the images into the document, did not use the place tool.No masks were applied on the images.I did not rasterize or flatten anything, but I’m also assuming I’ve hit some shortcut by mistake.I’ve replaced all the affected images and the slides export normally now, but does anyone know what might have caused this? Thank you!
Hey everyone,I’ve been testing a custom React component on a Figma Site (built with Figma’s new code components / figma:react), and I’m having trouble tracking clicks with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).Here’s what I’ve done so far: Added my GA4 Measurement ID (e.g. G-XXXXXXX) in Site settings → Analytics Confirmed that the gtag script is loading properly (I can see gtag() in the console) Added a simple component that fires an event on click: if (window.gtag) { window.gtag("event", "cta_button_click", { content_type: "cta_button", button_text: "Get Started", }); } The console shows the log correctly on click, but nothing appears in GA4 → Realtime → Events or DebugView. It feels like the event is being called in a sandboxed context where analytics can’t actually send data out — maybe due to how Figma Sites handle scripts or iframes?Has anyone managed to successfully track custom GA4 events inside Figma Sites yet?If yes, how did you make it work? My verification is done with SheeIDBut I don’t see an option to get the education plan, and I am still on the free plan still. I want to use figma pro as a student, but due to this I am unable to do so, help me find the solution. I don’t know where to go after the verification is done. I haven’t received the mail of Figma - “Welcome to Figma for Education”. Help me!!!
Hi,I’m posting here because support has repeatedly closed my requests without resolving the issue, and the situation has now become unacceptable.Over a week ago, I purchased a full paid Figma seat using my personal account and credit card. The seat was mistakenly applied to an old team that I created years ago, and immediately after the payment, I lost access to that team entirely.Current situation: I have been successfully charged for the subscription I no longer have access to the team I cannot manage or cancel the subscription, meaning I will be charged again next month for something I cannot access I have no visibility into who currently has admin access This is a personal account, so there is no organization admin I can contact. At this point, I am being charged for a service I cannot access or control, with no way to prevent further charges. This should not be possible. On top of that, support is not providing a solution, only repeating that, for security reasons, they canno
Dear Figma Support,I am encountering an error in Figma Make stating that my project is too large and suggesting I delete some files. The Request ID for this issue is: 8bcd0d77-5d9b-4902-850a-a1c432693ae1.The problem is that I cannot simply delete files, as doing so would break the completeness and functionality of my project. I need to keep all components and connections intact.Could you please advise on alternative solutions? Is there a way to increase the file size limit, or can you help me identify specific files that are safe to trim without affecting the project's integrity?Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance.Best regards,
The new copy link dropdown in the share window copies links without the proper file ID like https://www.figma.com/slides/null when it’s opened from the project and not within the file itself.
Hi, can my old account be merged into my personal account? My old account is no longer under that organization, and I’d like to track my topics and receive notifications for them. I know it’s a silly question, but if there’s a way to do it, I’d really appreciate it.This is my old (organization) account: https://forum.figma.com/members/rahend-96664 And, this is my personal account: https://forum.figma.com/members/rahendra-putra-k-111174
I've tried upgrading my figma plan to pro many times, but it always gives me an error message: "Sorry, we couldn't save your payment method." Respond in FIgma
The Figma for VSCode extension currently blocks any VSCode shortcuts from executing if the Figma Design page is in focus. This is NOT a desirable occurrence and greatly hinders productivity. Need an urgent solution.
I’m having an issue. My manager upgraded my account to a full seat but in app it still shows I’m on the free plan. I cannot select any other team.
The loading spinner continues endlessly when trying to publish a library in Figma site. The publishing process is stuck and failing to complete. This issue has been persisting for over 30 minutes. Anybody have the same issue?
I'm using Figma Make to generate design drafts, and I think the results are pretty good. Now I want to copy the design. To do that, which Professional tier should I subscribe to?Full? Dev? Or Collab?
