I educate classes in Figma and before the summer they could apply for an education plan using their private e-mails. Since they’ll be graduating it’s better if they keep everything on the account that they’ll be using later on - after school. But now it asks for a school mail, is there any way around this now?

I prefer to use a limited design where I can see fonts, colors, size and so on. It seems that I have changed my settings and now “Prottype” TAB is installed…. I woud like to go back to previous settings - to “Properties type”. 

As it’s shown in the attachments, when there is arrows from box to box in FigJam, and each arrow is in different color, the top one show both sides as related to it although each arrow is a regular one with one side of head

Good afternoon, I’ve been working on this UI kit I downloaded for a few hours, and I just relised then that along the way something has occured that has caused these strange stripes running vertically down each frame. The colour itself does look to be one of my colour varients, however I have no idea how this has occured. Can anyone assist in helping me get rid if this?

When I create new variant properties, or new text styles, the newest addition will land at the bottom of the dropdown list in the right hand pane. Is there a way to reorganise these?

Hello! I have noticed recently that WebGL seems to crash when doing simple tasks in Figma, to the point that it is unusable. Figma used to work fine for me a couple of days ago, and now doing simple things such as using the color picker, moving an object slightly, zooming in on very simple files seems to make the screen black out, and WebGL will fail to load for about a minute after that. I have never had this problem until a couple of days ago, this makes me suspicious this bug was introduced in an update. I have tried clearing the website cookies, enabling override software rendering list and this has unfortunately not fixed the issue on my end. Please fix this major problem soon! Operating System & Browser: ChromeOS 132CPU: Intel Celeron N5100 

Does anyone have Figma Tax Residency Certificate for 2024 and 2025? How can I get one? I need it to avoid double taxation. 

I am an admin on a paid subscription and have given a user in my team Full Seat access for FigJam. Now he’s trying to edit a FigJam file created by me, but he needs to send a request for edit. Why? He has a full seat and I don’t understand why he cannot edit or even create a new FigJam file. Any ideas?

Hi there, I’m seeing a sudden uptick in error responses to the Figma REST api on the get files endpoint, with the error message. There’s no recent changes in our use of the endpoint, has anything updated on the figma side that would explain this?

Hi,I see many people have had the same problem as I’m currently experiencing. I use Figma for private things, such as creating a wedding invite in October 2024. When I logged into Figma now, both the wedding invite and another project from the same time is completely gone. There is no trace of them neither in the Trash nor anywhere else. I don't have a "Drafts to move" option. I have not been prompted to upgrade my account or anything else, and since this is 4 months ago I also don't have the links to the projects because Chrome doesn't store history that far back. Can you please help me restore my projects? They were called “Bröllopsinbjudan” and something like “CV 2024” or similar.

Sometimes cmd-c just doesn’t do anything. I have to right-click and select Copy from the context menu.Sometimes it works, I have not so far found logic to it. The recent Figma update did not fix this. (I’m using the latest Mac build.)This happens MANY times every day, and as I’m sure you can understand, is very annoying and slows down my work.

Hi there! After the latest update, I can’t resize autolayouts and boxes anymore (see video). The resize handle doesn’t become available - I can sometimes get the handle it if I am very very slow and patient. In the video I end up moving the box, not resizing it. Pretty basic thing to be able to resize stuff! And pretty devastating! (I also still have occasional problems with zooming in with my MacBook Pro trackpad). Has someone found a way to fix this? Is there a better way to report this bug? Specs: macOS Monterey 12.4 Figma Desktop App version 116.0.5

I understand that Figma isn't specifically designed for this, but I’ve created a scrolling carousel of images. I did this by making a component and adding an interaction in the prototype menu. I want to use this for social media, but I'm unable to export it as a .mp4 file.Is there any solution for this problem apart from Screen Recording?

Hey Figma Community! I’m wanting to see a history of people who have opened and viewed my Figma file. Is there a way to see the file viewing history? Something like “On Jan 3 John Doe viewed your file” or “13 people viewed your file on Jan 3”. Does this exist? Thanks!

example image, ill apply the technique to a private design​​​​im pretty new to figma and graphic design in general so, i wanted to know what kind of solution can make what i want with this, i want the black outline of the circle to “mask out” the square there, for solid backgrounds i just made it the same color but for gradients like this well, it looks like an out of place ringi experimented with masks but got nowhere, i know its basic but its getting frustrating, applying the same gradient to the outline in a seperate layer feels like patching it with some tape i want a more sophisticated solution if possible

I am trying to select the “change to” option when creating a hover function for a button within a component, however it is greyed out and won’t let me click it, preventing me from creating my calendar function. Does anyone have a solution to this? 

Ive been playing around with using variables + components. You can change Figma component variants using a string variable (which is great!) but everything is instant. There doesn’t seem to be a way to define any sort of transition between variants. This is also true for number, color and boolean variables. When a variable is set it’s always an instant change. Is there a way to achieve this?

Hello. I dont have a computer, only tablet. Im also from not english-speaking country and that means that basic fonts are not usable in my language. I tried to find solution and way, how to set up fonts in web version from android, but couldnt. Do you know the way?

Hi Is there a way to reproduce this design without beaking the autolayout ? To fill with the grey rectangle I had to use a rectangle form but I need to break the autolayout.Thanks a lot :-) 

Hi I created a design file and copy pasted color variables from old file. But only variables won’t be published. I tried to recreate a new color variables but some works and some don’t?? Can anyone know what is going on and how to fix this? Thank you.

I'm just working my way into Figma.I downloaded a wireframing kit from the community and wanted to publish it as a shared library.When I click on “Publish”, the Figma window dims briefly, then the wireframe file is visible again, but nothing has been published. I have no access to the components from another file (the library is not displayed for selection). Identical with another wireframing kit.What could be the reason for this? If I create components myself and share them as a shared library, it works without any problems.Thanks for your support!

Minha biblioteca de componentes fica solicitando para atualizar nos arquivos uma atualização não feita, ja conferi no componente pai se o erro estava em alguma camada mas não Sempre que publico ele adiciona um contorno que não existe no componente fonte, alguém sabe como resolver?
