Upgraded to macOS 15, Figma not working properly

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my operating system to macOS 15 and have encountered some issues with Figma: After the upgrade, when I open a Figma design file, the page becomes unresponsive. I’ve tried using Chrome, Safari, and the Figma desktop app, but only Safari can open the file normally. The design files use the “PingFang SC” font. However, after the OS upgrade, it shows a font error and I’m unable to replace the font. This issue did not occur prior to the upgrade. Has anyone else experienced similar problems after upgrading to macOS 15? Any insights or potential solutions would be greatly appreciated. I’m wondering if this is a compatibility issue between Figma and the latest macOS version. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

[New UI] Apply variable to Auto Layout vertical gap

Hi there, I’m having trouble figuring out how to apply a variable to the Auto Layout vertical gap. The variable icon is missing, and I’ve tried right-clicking but haven’t found anything.

Missing wrap in a section option

I recently upgraded to Figma UI3 and don’t see the Wrap in a section option when selecting more than one frame. Where can I find it, if it is enabled in this update? UI2 UI3

Wrap in a section not available in new UI3

When I try to wrap in a section multiple elements selected, that option is not available anymore in the new UI3, to do so, I need to execute the Cmd+K command and write “Wrap in a section” to see it available.

I can’t find a way to add a URL link in the new editor - where did it go? In the legacy experience, the icon to add a link was at the top of the page but I cannot find it in the new editor.

What's Figma's measuring unit?

I know that Figma has a lot of presets fo a bunch of frames, but if I want to create a design that I can measure in mm, the relaion is not 1:1. Could somebody give me any guide or standard measurement so I can change the sizes myself please?

Figma's UI Suddenly Resized and Won't Return To Normal

I was working on a design file, when all the sudden the UI itself scaled itself to be larger than normal. I don’t know what I did, but I want it to go back to normal. I tried a bunch of different things and they all did not work. This is what it looks like: This is what it looks like as the default now, like when I would open a design file. This goes for all the design files I open too. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Windows - issue with the system theme

Not sure if it’s the same issue here but since today I’m having the same issue; I’ve had the theme set to “system theme” and started it up today with all white theme but a dark top menu bar (and accordingly dark menus; see screenshot: I’ve tried clearing the cache and also switching between the dark, light and system theme with closing and opening the app in-between to no avail. Also, what I found was that since today I belive the tabs look different for me I believe? This is how they looked before (here in dark mode): So might be connected in this case; some form of update breaking this? 🤔

UI3: Variant Properties Popup box bug

Hi. There’s a bug in the new UI3 variant properties popup box bug, at first it works normal: and then suddenly it’s like this: I can’t even accurately drag the variant I’m changing position. if you wanna do this, at least have the entire thing draggable and as long as i click hold it instead of trying to click the tiny icon on the left. I’ve tried dragging the entire thing but the function is to modifying the value only just like it’s click function.

'Scroll to' into conditional does not animate

Hi. Is there a way to (smart) animate content with ‘scroll to’ function set into a conditional or not? I can switch between contents but without smart animate motion. Is there a way to do it or is it a bug? Thanks.

Interaction to Change of component variants does not work. Tried three workarounds. Figma became unusable

First of all: What is going on with Figma? It has become absolute shit and not usable. There are just tons of bugs and nothing gets fixed. Weren’t you guys acquired by Adobe?? The mobile app always crashes as soon as my phone falls asleep. Variables aren’t working as they should. Interactions don’t work. What the heck? This is a product you want people to pay for? The current bug I have a component with three buttons. One is “selected” or dark. I’m building an interaction where a user clicks on one button and then this button is turning dark and the other one bright again. So I created a component with three variants, one for each selected button. Now I try to add a “change to” interaction on the buttons. The idea is: When a user clicks on Button 2, the component changes to “Active=Button2”. The problem: The selected variant in the interaction is not saved. So it always stays at “change to: None”. Image resized

What is image resized? Does it have any effect on the image? Before, this information didn’t appear when an image was inserted, but after updating Figma to the UI3 version, it seems to have started appearing every time an image is inserted into Figma.
