Slots are a pretty cool concept and useful for their intended porposes, but they need polish. I’m not the biggest fan of the fact that you cannot mark an entire frame as a slot, that you need a sub-frame, but this is not the topic.Behaviour that is really concerning is the following: I have a table column component, that is filled with some data format (in my case UUIDs, or dates). I expand it to more cells using the slot feature. Some AI is used to fill these cells with more mock UUIDs or dates - cool. However! When extending or shrinking the slot, some cells that are not even being created or removed are being overriden with new mock content! This is very concerning as it can lead to mistakes in mockups if already established, untouched content is being overriden automatically. AI should not touch cells that are not being changed by extending or shrinking the slot, especially because the user doesn’t expect it - I don’t expect for the AI to touch my set content that has nothing to do

I am working on creating a prototype. Uploaded my PRD as well as the specs for individual screens. But Figma Make is not able to generate the UI. All I can see is a spinner. I have wasted good amount of credits which I am not getting back. Initially I thought that I gave a lot of information causing Figma Make to hallucinate. So I created another new Draft where I uploaded the same PRD and asked figma to create only the login and dashboard page. Again the same issue. I see only the blank page with a spinner. This is really frustrating.

Hello, I’m reaching out regarding a recurring issue with Figma API rate limits that is currently blocking my work. I’m using a Professional plan. I was working with a third-party integration (Useberry) to sync a prototype. However, the sync was not working from the beginning — the prototype wouldn’t sync at all. After several retry attempts, I received a Figma API rate limit error with a cooldown of over 30 hours. Later, the issue repeated, and now I’m facing another cooldown of around 100 hours, which is still ongoing. The key issue is that:- the sync was already failing before any rate limit was triggered - repeated cooldowns are now preventing any further work - I’m unable to proceed with launching a time-sensitive research study Could you please help clarify:- why the sync might have been failing initially - why such long cooldowns are being applied - whether it’s possible to lift or reset the current API rate limit - how to safely use integrations like Useberry without trig

Can you pls help me with this error I am getting with fonts and figma? I need to update a file from Smartcat with the translation ASAP and it seems like I have the fonts? Even downloading the installer fonts is not resolving this issue. I've emailed support twice already and have not heard back.
I routinely run into this basic issue:I create a component with text (string param) and icon (instance swap param) I add a variant to the component I change the text and/or icon I create an interaction, when you click on variant A it changes to variant B In the prototype, variant A changes to variant B in all aspects EXCEPT for the params, the variant A text and/or icon persist in variant B
Hi, We were recently charged $1,790.60 (Invoice: DUUM7BSC-0002), and we believe this was due to multiple full seats being unintentionally added to our account. As soon as we noticed the issue, we immediately reviewed our team and removed the extra seat. Currently, we only have 1 full seats, which reflects our actual usage. The additional seats were not intentionally used, and this charge was unexpected. We have already contacted support, but we would appreciate any guidance or help from the community regarding this situation or similar experiences. Has anyone faced something similar? Were you able to get a refund or partial refund? Thank you

Hi,I just started a new study program and had to change the mail address of my Figma Account to the new university mail. I wanted to reapply for the Education Plan since Figma changed it to the free plan because I graduated. Now it is not possible to get the Ed Status again because apparently I reached a limit. I already contacted the SheerID support but the couldn't help me and said they saw a verification from last year but I think its still connected with my old mail. Is there any other solution?(I’m writing this from my other account because I had a registration here)

Have set up variable tokens for fonts - style weight etc.Created font styles with these variables.Applied styles to the text frames.But when I change modes, the font doesn’t get updated or rendered correctly. For example one mode is poppins and another is roboto but there is no font family change being applied. Only the colours change. Not the font.
