Point and Edit button missing in Figma Make

The Edit pointer button next to the Make Kit button is missing in some of my Figma Make files, but not all of them. Figma is up to date, I have a Full Seat, and lots of credits so those aren’t the issues.

Since this is only happening in some of your Figma Make files and not others, it'd help to narrow down what's different about the affected ones. A couple of things to check:

  1. Does refreshing the page or duplicating one of the affected files bring the button back in the copy?
  2. Is there anything different about how those files were created or set up compared to the ones where the button shows up fine (for example, a different starting template, or one using a Make kit)?

If the button's still missing after that, this looks like something our team would need to take a closer look at directly. Could you reach out to our customer support team through our Support hub with a screenshot or short video showing the difference between an affected file and one that's working? That'll help us dig into what's causing it.
