AI Agent not showing

Everywhere I am seeing the release of the AI agent in Figma and how easy it is to use. In our paid organisation subscription it appears that it is not available. I am admin and can not figure out why this feature is not available. When and how can we access this?

Hey ​@Judellis , Celine from Figma here, happy to clarify! The agent is currently in beta and gradually rolling out to Full seats on paid plans, and to Collab and Dev seats in drafts only. If you have access to the agent, you'll see it in the left navigation bar in Figma Design.

If you have a paid seat and don’t see the agent in your account yet, feel free to join the waitlist (this doesn’t guarantee early access but will let our team know that you’re interested!) Thank you for your understanding!

It's been three weeks now and still nothing on Full seats on our end.

I have no real interest in it, but I thought I'll give it a try to see what you guys worked on… Getting less and less interested :)

    Still no Figma Agent for me.

    It’s becoming increasingly difficult to know if a missing Figma feature is because it’s:

    1. been announced but not yet released;
    2. released but only for specific user types (and you have to work out how that applies to you); or
    3. currently inactive and you need to manually toggle the feature on.

    I was mid-conversion of design systems variables using Agent, and it disappeared and is no longer available in the side panel!  This is really painful. What is going on?  When will it be back?!

    Hey, ​@Meghan Newell 👋 Sorry to hear about the Agent vanishing. That sounds unexpected for sure.

    I have a few questions to get us moving forward:

    • Are you using Figma in the browser, Desktop app, or both? If only one, can you try the other, if possible? 
    • Can you force close browser or update the desktop app, please? (mildly annoying but works often 😉)
    • Are the on-Canvas Agent icons also gone?
    • Try going to the main menu in your file (the Figma icon in the upper left corner of the app) → Preferences → Show Agents on canvas, and make sure it’s checked (it should be and it’s better rule out the easy stuff first)
