Hey team. I hope you are doing well. I'm testing Figma Buzz and having a hard time to zoom to the real size (Zoom to 100%) similar we do on Figma Design. I have a prototype of about 50 pages and the back and next button does not seem to work in some of these button. Is it a recent figma bug?

STOOOOOOOOOOPPPP fixing every f*cking autolayout that I have in my project!!! It's being the worst exeperience of my routine to deal with Figma everyday! It's disgusting to deal with so many bugs, wrong things, things that you didn't ask to edit but even so Figma goes there and BAAAAMM changes. I HATE FIGMA SO BAD! I hope some good soul appears soon to create a better competitor.

I’m not getting the desired interaction in Figma prototype. I have an accordion component that includes 4 document items and an "add document" button by default. For the prototype, I want to show variations—like only 2 documents and no button—so I hide certain layers within the instance. But when I preview the prototype, it resets to the default component state and ignores the changes I made (like hidden layers). I've made a video to illustrate the issue Anyone know why this is happening or how to work around it?

Issue: When I try to tag @siva in a Figma file, two users show up in the list: One is the real member of the project and organization (me). The second one is not part of this project or organization, but still appears in the mention list. I want to remove or stop seeing the second user. Steps to Reproduce: Open Figma Web/Desktop App. Navigate to a specific Figma file within your project. Click the comment button. Type eg, @siva in the comment box. It's been over a year since I signed up for the Education plan and I'm still a student. I want to renew (or upgrade) my student status, but the message keeps saying I'm verified and I can't access the Professional features (which are free for educators). Please, I need to upgrade and renew my Education plan.

Before you used to be able to command click on an entire frame and it would collapse all groups inside the frame and the frame itself. Now if I have a frame that has 100s of layers and layer groups and I am trying to find a specific layer, I can’t collapse all folders easily to find the correct layer group.

When I export a screen as a PNG or JPG, there will be random faded grid lines on some parts of the image. The filter icon in this example also doesn’t have a box around it in Figma. I’ve tried exporting with different settings and always get the same result. There’s no grid on the screen in Figma - it looks completely normal there. When my coworker exports the same screen, it’s normal for her. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Hi guys, If I try to copy an element from a frame, far away from that frame on the main canvas, that element is still gonna get copied inside that parent frame. What’s the point? If I drag the page miles away from the parent frame, my intention is probably copying that element somewhere else, not in the same frame, no? edit: I can’t tell you how annoying and illogical this is. Is it a bug? It didn’t work like that in the past, I know for sure. Or is it by design for some weird messed up reason?

A couple of bugs that have been annoying me lately: Unable to click “+” for strokes and fill and effects. I am able to apply variables, but whenever I click “+”, it would not respond. Unable to remove strokes, fill and effects. Once I apply them, I cannot click remove. If I do it on a browser though, it works Left click not working on elements sometimes. I have tried restarting the application over and over again but these bugs keep consistently appearing

Hi, I was previously on a paid plan however after switching to a free plan I now have lost access to the billing section within figma. I still need to access past invoices for this account. Is that something that you might be able to help me with? Regards, Jay

Hello, I’m currently using the Figma for Education plan, and I would like to use the AI First Draft feature to assist in my academic projects. I’ve checked my settings, and the feature appears to be enabled, but for some reason, I still can’t access or use it. I’m not sure why this is happening, and I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue. Is there any limitation with the Education plan regarding this feature? Around 2–3 months ago, Figma links to slides and frames used to be shorter and cleaner. When cropping an image, it’s not always possible to hold down the arrow keys to reposition the image within the crop boundary. Sometimes it doesn’t move more than one step. It’s a little frustrating and inconsistent. It seems to have something to do with what’s in focus - when I click the image and it becomes focussed in the Properties panel (under Fill), then holding the arrow keys works. When it’s not focussed in the Properties panel (but still selected on the canvas) it doesn’t allow you to hold the arrow keys, yet you can still move one step at a time. I’ve only noticed this behaviour happening recently. Of course, you can drag to quickly move the image within the cropped area, but this doesn’t snap to the pixel grid (even when snap to pixel grid is turned on) - but this is besides the point.

On the canvas, the mouse arrow is always replaced by that tool, that is currently selected. But on hovering over e.g. the edge of a section, over elements with comment tool active etc., the mouse stays the same and onl shows a mouse arrow, instead or the resizing icon, or the comment icon etc. Mouse Arrow does not change on hovering over elements, so that its unclear wich tool is being used or is available Please make repair the mouse to change to the right tool on hovering on different contexts again. It really makes working harder, because you are not sure which tool is currently selected. Thank you!

Description When I update a font family variable in my design system (e.g., changing FontPrimary in the brand collection), the text on some pages doesn't visually reflect the new font. The change does apply, but the new font only renders after I double click or otherwise interact with the text. Until then, the old font appears on canvas. This issue seems to affect styles that use font variables indirectly through alias collections and text styles. Steps to Reproduce Create a font family variable in a brand collection (e.g., FontPrimary = DM Sans). Reference this font variable in an alias collection that defines type scales. Apply those variables via Text Styles across multiple pages in the file. Change the value of FontPrimary to a different font (e.g., Inter). Observe: some pages update correctly, but others still show the old font. Double click on text on the affected pages — it instantly updates to the correct new font. My dev mode is not starting even if ive verified my student account.

When sharing a link to a page in Figma to a viewer, we have recently experienced that the viewer can not see the updates made by the designer when the reviewer is revisiting the page via the link the day after?It’s creating a lot of frustrations when you think the viewer is seeing the same thing as the designer is, but they can’t see the updates that have been made since last.We have not noticed this earlier. Is there a fix for it? We have also experienced that the updates made by one designer (in the most recent case a new page added in a file) was not visible to another designer until the other designer reopened the file. This causing great frustrations when designers working together online on the same project.

I have a brand font installed but it’s not rendering any punctuation correctly e.g. “ ? ! & all become generic and off-brand. They’re very distinctive and look obviously wrong but the font is fine in Adobe. How can I continue to use Figma for design and solve this issue, I don’t want to move into Adobe, it’s going to slow my process down SO much and I’ve invested so much time into building out my design system. I am part of three different “edu” teams under the same account, and I received a message stating that my Education access is expiring in 2 weeks. However, the message doesn’t specify which team.From what I understand, the plan applies per team, not per account. Has anyone run into the same situation? How do you check which team is affected? Hey Figma team, I wanted to report a problem that’s been bugging our team for the past few months. We have an Icon Library in our design system, as well as a separate glyph library. These icons are used in different sizes across the product (16px, 24px, etc.). The master components of each icon and glyph contain elements which are all set to ‘scale’. However, within our larger components, whenever we want to swap an instance of an icon with a different one from our library, the scaling (of dimensions, stroke width, and border radius) is not properly applied, resulting in a broken view. One example is: We have a nested icon component scaled to 16x16px; We replace the instance with another icon from either library (original component of which is 24x24 but all elements set to scale) and expect it to scale properly to the 16x16 dimensions. However, the swapped icon appears broken in terms of the scale of elements inside, stroke width and border radius; We have to resort to a workaround lik
