Hi there,I've been exploring the new Slots feature, but I noticed that slots currently do not pass through the properties of the inner components (instances) placed inside them.Are there plans to make internal component properties available within slots in upcoming versions? This would greatly improve the flexibility of the new workflow.Thanks!

I have been transfer projects from a free account to a organisation account although the process was a bit complicated I managed to do all except one for some reason.I used the sam method select the  - Project >  Settings >  Transfer > Next > add a link (paste the URL to from project folder I want to transfer to and Figma verified it.) fill in email and hit enter.Then the error message “You cannot transfer to this organization at this moment. Please contact support for more details.” pops up. What could be the issue here?  

Creating a new topic since this other one is closed for replies: Sometimes I inadvertently turn an image into a background fill on a frame, instead of including the image as an object inside the frame. (Not sure how, but this happens.) Currently there seems to be no way to fix this. You can’t select the image in the frame. If you ungroup the frame, the frame is gone and so is the background image.There is supposed to be a way to copy the image from the Fill properties, but it’s not working for me.Command + C doesn’t copy the image, and there is no context menu if I right click on the thumbnail.Using Figma Desktop App version 126.7.10 on a Silicon Mac running macOS Tahoe 26.5.2

Hi, following up again on ticket #2041926.It’s now been three weeks since I opened this ticket and two weeks since the last response. At this point, the lack of progress or even a status update is becoming pretty frustrating, especially given the amount of work affected by the issue.Can this please be escalated, or can someone provide a concrete update on where the investigation currently stands and what the next step is?I’d appreciate some clarity rather than continuing to leave the ticket open without an update.

This is absolutely unacceptable.I just lost 4 hours of intense client work due to a massive, game-breaking glitch in Figma.I was working inside an Auto-Layout group when – without any action on my part – the entire design on the canvas completely vanished into a blank frame. This is NOT a local issue, as the exact same corruption appears both in the macOS Desktop App and via Web Browser.Here is proof that this is a critical backend/cloud corruption and not user error: Broken UI Elements: As seen in my screenshot, the entire layers panel is completely glitched. All the icons next to the layers have turned into blank square boxes. Layers have randomly lost or changed their names. Total Fail of Version History: The "Show Version History" feature is completely broken for this file. It fails to render any previous states and only shows blank previews. Every time i try to open a Community Figma file I get an error. I’ve tried completing resetting the app and I also tried opening from web and the app with the same error.  

I am being billed for a full seat ($20 per month). However when I open Figma, it shows that I’m on a free plan. How do I fix this? How do I get compensated for the past two months where I was billed incorrectly?

I’m testing out Figma Motion to make a glorified presentation (I know, very original). But when I play the prototype, every time a frame that has motion on it appears next, its normal appearance shows first, then fades in with the motion I added, as intended. This is creating a flickering effect while trying to present. This flickering doesn’t happen while in Motion mode, so I’m assuming it has something to do with the way motion frames and layers show up in prototype mode. I’d appreciate tips and/or a fix on this, Figma!Is this flickering with presentation mode with Figma Motion happening for anyone else?Secondly, I want to request that frames with Motion can be turned off in presentation mode. This would be a great option for when I am just testing things out and don’t want to present just yet. Or when I want to make sure storyboards and frames flow well before getting distracted by the motion. Would others appreciate a toggle to turn Motion on and off in Present mode?(That second re

Hi,I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem. I have the slot. I configure it, etc. everything awesome.I take the instance, try to use it.Add an instance of the component that I had selected as the preferred one.Now, it breaks my Fill for width and height for the component and the component doesn’t fill the slot area!Now, I know it has to be changed to fill but weren’t slots supposed to be automatic? So that whatever is put there, it behaves like it should?WTF?Another BROKEN FEATURE… OMFG. 

Hi, We have been working towards using Figma Sites to publish, for the first time in our company, an external-facing website. It is to support our advertising proposition and can be found at ads.justeattakeaway.com. However at that url we are seeing a Cloudflare Error 1000 error message. Our internal technical teams are telling us that the Cloudflare issue isn't on our side because we have already set our proxy status for this domain to DNS Only (grey cloud). Cloudflare's official documentation (at this page https://developers.cloudflare.com/support/troubleshooting/http-status-codes/cloudflare-1xxx-errors/error-1000/) says, of the error message we're getting, "Your DNS record points to a SaaS provider that uses Cloudflare for SaaS with BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP). Hi! I’m experiencing an issue with Figma Motion Animated SVG export.My Motion animation is set to play once, and it behaves correctly inside Figma. However, after exporting it as an Animated SVG and opening the SVG in a browser, the animation loops indefinitely.I need the exported SVG to respect the Motion timeline setting: play once and stop on the final state.The animation itself exports and plays correctly — the only issue is the unwanted infinite loop.Is this a known issue with the current Figma Motion Animated SVG exporter, and is there currently a way to export the SVG without looping?

The alert "Component removed from library" appears in some files for components that weren’t removed (and some parts of such components are not shown, such as text in the button). Or some conflicting things in files, but in the component in main library everything is correct and no such conflicts. Also some components inside other components just disappear. Why it happens?

When I select ‘Only allow preferred instances’ in Slot, it still allows me to swap from ‘Preferred’ to another component. This is the case across every component I’ve tried it in. 

This is really frustrating!I was always able to prototype components even when the source component lived on another page in the same file.Now I can’t prototype even simple interactions, like buttons, unless I’m on the page where the source component actually lives. It’s making prototyping unnecessarily difficult. 😩Does anyone know if there’s a fix for this, or if it’s a bug?

I switched my plan to Free over a month ago, yet I’m still being charged on my credit card; I even cancelled my account, but I’m still being billed for a month where I didn't even use Figma's services.

While building a site in the new Figma Site, I ran into a typography issue:When I use a typography variable with different font sizes for Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile, the correct value shows only if I apply the variable directly to the text layer.But if I use the same variable inside a text style, the published site doesn’t respond to modes — it just shows the default (Desktop) size, even on smaller viewports.This seems like a limitation or bug in how Figma Site handles mode-based variables inside styles.Would love to know if this is expected behaviour or still under development. Hi Figma,I've been using Figma Motion and have encountered a bug with GIF handling during export. When a motion composition contains multiple GIFs, exporting to MP4 renders only one of the GIFs—the others are missing from the final output. I've attached an example showing both the original design file and a screenshot of the the resulting export to illustrate the issue. Is there a limit to the number of GIFs that can be included in a motion composition? Thanks!  

I have a Professional account and have been using the Beta feature of the AI agent while constructing different scenarios, use cases and building out wireframes for a new project. I’ve just run into a snag where I continue to receive the following error code: srid_MK5ABGZFBVSEQVHP1FT6SBMHR.Here is a screenshot in use.I have clicked the ‘Try again’ button with no success. My internet connection is fine. I’ve tried using the web browser version rather than the desktop application. I’ve tried the browser version in incognito mode. All to no avail. I would like to understand what is happening as I am in the midst of this project and am at a bit of a standstill.
