I am a master’s degree student at Politecnico di Milano, and I’m having an ongoing issue verifying my student status. I have contacted Figma Support before, and I was informed that the issue is related to SheerID. However, when I reached out to SheerID, they said it’s a Figma-related problem.I’m certain that I am still an active student, so this verification issue is not on my side. I have tried to verify my student status multiple times, the system says “verified,” but my Figma profile does not update to reflect the Education status.Could you please look into this and help resolve it? I really need access to the student benefits for my studies. 

This should be very simple: I have a component with 2 variants. Variant1 has a text layer which is not underlined text, and Variant2 has the same text layer (same layer name of course), which is underlined text. I added a hover interaction on Variant1 to change to Variant2 When I test it out in the prototype, the underlined text doesn’t show up on hover. To make sure the variant switch is happening on hover, I changed the background of Variant2, and sure enough, the background change does happen on hover. So for some reason the text underline is just not happening. This is a bug, right? Any workarounds?

Expectation:As a designer in Figma Sites I want to be able to add interactions on components and frames to link to pages. 🔗Issue:Link interactions on components/frames doesn’t work, neither in the preview or published site. 😣Work around:If the frame has any text you can add the link to it as well, then the frame link will inherit it and work properly. 🧐

Hi,I am currently looking for a figjam board I created last year which for some reason is not showing at all in my figma now. In fact the whole project, which was all of my semester notes for that semester in all of my modules, is now somehow missing. When I have two files in the split view, and copy one element/group/instance/frame from file A, paste it to file B, what is pasted in file B is not the same as the what I copied from file A. This happens also when I have the same file but different pages in the split view, and copy one element/group/instance/frame from page A, and paste it to page B on the other side of the split view. The outcome of pasting can vary randomly:more elements in what I copied a white frame of the same size and shape of what I copied parts of elements are missing in what I copied

I was told by SheerID in my browser that I am verified but I am still on the starter plan. Other students from my university did not come by any issues even though we verified our accounts together. I am looking forward to support on this matter

I’ve been iterating on a design in the Figma Make tool, and I’m using a design library, which I imported using the “Select a Design Library” button at the bottom of the prompt window. However, I recently tried to get the AI to use an element in that library, and the design broke. Since then, the button has been empty, and the AI seems to think I don’t have any library selected. I can’t click anything to re-add the library, or to reset the button. I’ve had a coworker look at the design, and it’s also broken for them as well.  I can provide further info/console logs if it’s useful.

Since the last Figma Design update, several library components got broken in another file and show weird behavior. The problem is, that the resizing of some subcomponent instances don’t work correct. However, the issue only exists in the instance used in one file. The component itself within the library does not show any issues, neither in the master, nor when inserting an instance within the library or in other files. The really weird thing is, that detaching the component instance solves the problem. However, this is of course not, what I want, because then I don’t get any updates anymore. Inserting a fresh instance of the library component also does not solve the issue.This is a major bug and blocker for using Figma Design within our company right now and needs immediate attention!Best regardsMartin 

I created a website in figma make and it looks good in the figma make window but when I publish it elements of the header and buttons are missing. what would be the best way to fix these issues. When I hover over the color link icon button which I created as a design token in the right panel, the link button disappears, so I can’t click it.

Hi Figma Support Team,I’m reaching out regarding a billing issue with my account.In October, I availed a Collaborator seat and paid for that seat type. However, my November invoice is charging me for a Full/Editor seat, which I did not request or upgrade to.Because of this incorrect charge, the invoice is now marked as overdue, and the system won’t allow me to update or downgrade my seat to the correct Collaborator role.Could you please: Correct the November invoice to reflect the Collaborator seat I availed in October, Adjust the billing accordingly, and Unlock my seat settings so I can manage them normally? When using the new "Lock Aspect Ratio" feature and adjusting an element’s size using the Ctrl + Arrow shortcut, the resizing behavior is inconsistent and unstable. The size increments/decrements in an unexpected pattern, and the element’s position also shifts unintentionally.Steps to Reproduce:Select a rectangle (or any element) in Figma. Enable the "Lock Aspect Ratio" feature. Use the Ctrl + Arrow (Left/Right/Up/Down) shortcut to adjust the element's size. Observe: The size does not increase/decrease smoothly. Initially, the size changes by 0.5px for 5-6 steps. Then, it starts breaking into irregular decimal values (e.g., 0.49px, 0.48px, etc.). The position of the element also changes, shifting towards the direction of the arrow key pressed. If the element is positioned at the edge of an artboard, it moves slightly instead of just resizing. Expected Behavior:The element should resize in stable increments (e.g., 1px per step) without decimal inconsistencies. The element’s position
