Figma Slides Object Animations UX is annopying

Figma Slides seem to not receive any love or updates from the Figma Team… what a shame for such a promising product.

We are trying to simply animate a few text boxes and it turned out really cumbersome. The animation panel always resets to default instead of reusing the settings I just used for the previous layer (e.g. Fade, 150ms). Why would I ever want a piece of text to ‘Slide right’ at the slow pace of 600ms anyway…? 😅

I don’t get Figma Slides proposition at all. It would be soo easy to beat Google slides at their game, but now it’s just not living up to the hype of the introduction. Animation is very limited and cumbersome. Why do I get a timing pull down when all I can select is one option…? These are the people that create a UX/UI design tool… And this is just onw of the gripes...
