I’ve started using Figma and realised the “Zoom to selection” shortcut (Shift+2) does not work. I checked the assigned shortcut and it is correct, but it does not work on my PC. I’ve contacted support and the chatbot concluded it is an Opera browser issue, which is clearny not, as the same happens in Chrome. I do not have active extensions on those browsers that could block the action. And I use Windows with QWERTY keyboard. Is there anything to be done to fix this issue?

I have an educational account. I am using Figma Make IA for rapid prototyping so that, starting in the second half of February, my students can use Figma to recreate the presentation and visualisation aspects (with the creation of components, layout, etc.) of a mobile + web app. I am quickly running out of IA credit. Hi,I recently had a paid for individual account through a work email domain that I no longer have access to in order to cancel the recurring subscription.I can’t recall whether the email was [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] or [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], however, I no longer work there and can’t access it.The account I’m currently reaching out with is a free account, but I don’t know what to do from here to get the subscription cancelled. 

I wanted to remove the Education plan from my account and change it to the starter plan but was unsure what the steps were to do that.

I subscribed to the Professional plan with monthly billing, based on the information provided during signup. However, after giving edit access to a few collaborators, I was charged additional full seat fees for each person added.What surprised me is that simply granting edit access to files automatically added those users as paid team members and charged the full seat amount. This behavior was not clearly communicated when I subscribed, nor was it obvious on the plan details or pricing pages that every editor added would incur a full seat charge.Because this information wasn’t clearly disclosed upfront, the charges came as an unexpected surprise. Hi Figma Support,I’m on a paid plan with a Full seat, but Figma Make chat is not usable. The Make editor loads, however the AI chat panel won’t load properly and the Send button stays disabled/greyed out, with no visible in-app error message. This blocked my workflow and I couldn’t deliver my work on time, which caused significant disruption.What I’m seeing Figma Make file opens normally (editor loads, multiplayer connects). Make chat panel doesn’t load (or appears stuck), and Send is disabled even when typing. No actionable UI warning is shown. I have a component with standard hover states attached to text (think nav bar). It works perfectly. However, when I rotate the component, some of the text components with hover state cease to work. at 12 degrees almost all have stopped working.  the design calls for rotated text links (a line of them, the whole line rotated). any idea why rotation is a problem and how to fix it? 

Hello, I am unable to access my Figma account that I made with my university’s email address ever since I graduated. The university closed all email accounts of the graduates so I can’t reach the verification code to sign in. I have important projects, assets and files in there that are important for my research. The entire auto layout panel disappeared in the web app.

I noticed that one of many pinned files in the dashboard left nav is showing as a branch, when in fact it is not. When i click on it, the main file version opens.

I made a school portal for student schedules and I told the ai to fix the sign in button and u put your username and password it dose not let me sign in the button is not working and I don't have any more credits untill Jan 31 please I need someone to help I need this turned into the district by Jan 31.

Using a Button component as an example, one of its variants is the Muted button, and every style of button has a hover and press variant, which gets their Overlay frame with a different opacity color to reflect the hover and press. Then, in Prototype, I set the normal variant with a Change to While Hovering to the Hover variant, and a Change To While Pressing on the hover variant to the Press variant.This works in isolation, however when using this Button component in other components, say in a Side Sheet footer as an action button, and I press the Present button, and I happen to change the text of the Button instance inside the Side Sheet, the text property content gets reset to the parent component's default. This also happens with any frame that gets bound to a property (Leading Icons, Trailing Icons, etc.).To fix this, I simply unbound every such property, like boolean and text properties.Having said all that, it seems to me these component interactions in prototypes and component

I added blend mode to my figure in figma and if looks fine in working panel and preview viewport. But the effects are gone as soon as they are exported as pdf. There figures on a same page, one is good but the other two are not working properly. I’m applying “plus lighter” to the two problem figures and “color dodge” to the properly exported figure. 

I am trying to connect my Github account with Figma, it is successfully connected with “Connector” option, but not in the Integration, I have configure the Figma with my personal Github account, but it says it need “Admin approval” for that, the thing is it is my personal Github Account, I am not a organization, how can I give it Admin approval?

Hello!I have a problem with moving mu design from Figma to Tilda. When I’m trying to import my layout, I get error 429 (too many requests) and am asked to wait a minute. Hi guys, Anyone know how to fix the "Update or switch browsers Update your Microsoft Edge settings" problemI couldn't open my Figma app on my S24 Ultra phone even though I had updated my Samsung Internet to the latest version. I understand that it may be because Figma doesn't support the Samsung Internet browser. But how do I switch to Chrome? When I tried to log in to the Figma app, it already directed me to the Samsung Internet browser to process the login and didn't provide any other option to run it in a browser. This is what happen when I try to login, and can't find a way to change the browser that process the login   

Hello, I used my university e-mail to register for Figma and after graduating my e-mail has been deactivated. I can't log in nor forward e-mails to my new address so I can't access my Figma account anymore. 

I’m planning to use my Figma prototype for remote user testing. The issue I have is that the share-link to the prototype takes forever to load in Safari on iPhone. However in Chrome on iPhone it loads in a reasonable amount of time. I’ve tried everything possible to shorten the load time, e.g. flattening and ungrouping everything, detaching all components, compressing images etc, but the problem is still here. I even tried making a design with just a single text field in it, and even this takes forever to load! This makes it more or less impossible to use Figma prototypes for remote testing.

HiWe have a complex Component that has been fine for around a year. The component has not been updated and is within a published file. The Asset Instance is used hundreds of times across multiple Design Files. This complex Component is now not working correctly when viewed in presentation mode. Please help?Thank you,Michael

Hello, I’m having an issue in Figma Make in one specific project. Error: “Couldn’t connect, check your internet and try again”Request ID: 2bb20fca-4588-4fa8-8693-f8794a7247ae Behavior:  In this project, Make stops processing my prompts/requests and shows the error banner. Other Figma Make projects work normally. If I create a clone, it may work for one request, then the same error appears again.  What I tried:  VPN and blockers disabled Tested on Mac (Safari) and on phone with mobile data (same result)   I can provide a short screen recording if needed. Screenshots attached. Any help from Figma team would be appreciated.

We are migrating emails from Google Workspace from one company to another and need to replace several tools that we had concentrated in a single email. One of them is Figma. Can you tell us if there is a way to change it without any projects losts?
