I have a Make file which I’ve published as a template. The file itself has references to GitHub, Confluence, and a CDN. When creating a new Make file, selecting this template, and using the Remix button, it fails (mainly for other users) and throws up an error in the left-hand Make panel. Clicking Fix me doesn’t resolve the issue.The workaround is to pick the template up from Resources and clicking Use template. This seems to work fine every time, but does mean you have to manually move the file from the Drafts folder to the desired location. Is there a bug using the Remix route?Please can you investigate?

Hi, Someone inadvertently renamed the typography presets in our Library and published it. I restored the library but all the components that rely on the original text presets have been severed. Is there ANY way to restore the text’s original association with their respective presets? Please help!

Extended collections work very well in simple scenarios like having multiple brands with light an dark mode. But there is more than brand specific colors.Requirement:We want to be able to define brand specific font sizes for desktop and mobile devices. In order to do so we have to introduce an additional “device” collection with a “desktop” and “mobile” mode. Then we connect the extended collection (aka the brand collection) with the device collection.Now we can easily switch between brands + devices and the font size changes accordingly.Problem:But when the brand specific font sizes are changed in the variable view, the designs do not automatically update. You have to select the layers, switch modes manually back and forth and only then the variable changes are visible. This means everything is connected correctly, but the automatic update of the layers does not work properly, which makes extended collections unusable in case you want to have more than brand colors with light and dark

Hello,we are currently exploring how the new extended collection feature is working.We figured out that variables in extended collections that are connected with font styles are not updating the font styles when changed. You have to detach and re-attach the font style to get the changes in the variables.How you can achieve this:You can easily reproduce the bug in the community file that Luis provided - see attached link.1. Create a text layer for each brand using the "Heading" style2. Go to the "Typography Primitives" collection and change each brands "Family Sans" variable to a different font family3. You will see that only the Heading of the original Theme collection will change, but not the other brands (coming from the extended collection).4. I’m the admin of my team, and my e-mail id has changed. Everytime I try to change my e-mail id in figma from my account, after clicking on the verification mail, this message show up: ‘your link has expired or is malformed’. I’ve tried with Google SSO login and with just email and password - nothing seems to be working.Also, how do I update my billing info?

Whenever I try to copy and paste screens into my client’s Figma workspace, some (not all) images will disappear (there will be a toast message that says ‘image invalid’. When I inspect the component in the original file, the image is there. Anyone else has this issue / has any solution to this?

Hi Figma team,I’m posting here in hopes of getting help or visibility on an account access issue.My Figma account was originally created using a school email address. That email has since been permanently deleted by the school after graduation, so I no longer have access to it.Because of this, all login and verification codes are sent to an email address that no longer exists, which has completely locked me out of my account and the files associated with it.I still have access to the device and browser previously used with this account and can provide any information needed to verify ownership (previous projects, team names, billing info, etc.).Is there a way to manually update the account email to my personal address or otherwise recover access without the old school email?Thanks in advance — I’d really appreciate any help with this.Best regards,Carimo

Exporting a pdf in Figma Buzz creates a huuuuuge file size but also has an issue with previews that seems isolated to teams. Ive checked Mac OS, Slack & Figma Design, which all seem to be able to preview.

When a rectangle’s corner radius is linked to a variable, changing the variable normally updates all linked elements immediately. However, once the built-in Glass effect is on the rectangle, the corner radius stops updating when the variable value changes. The variable remains correctly linked, but the UI does not refresh unless the variable is manually relinked.The problem seems to appear only on the rectangle shapeReproducibility / patterns Issue is consistently reproducible. Occurs whenever Glass effect is enabled on a rectangle using variable-controlled radius. Updates occur only after relinking variable Reproduction steps Create a new file. Create a number variable for corner radius (e.g., radius = 16). Create a rectangle. Bind rectangle corner radius to the variable. Confirm changing variable updates radius normally. Add Glass effect on the rectangle. Change variable value again. Result: rectangle corner radius does not update until relinking.

I have all my work on the old figma version. The software asked for the latest update, but after it installed, The  new version Doesn’t operate on my MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10 (20G1427) how can i work around it on the same laptop?

When will Figma Make support uploading locally modified code back to Figma? I downloaded the code locally and made some changes using Claude Code, but now I can't push those updates back to Figma for designers to review—it's really cumbersome!

This is the first time I use Figma (desktop version) and I’ve lost all my work because of a migration issue.I’d like to point out the following:I am a paying user I have lost my work because of a Figma Make localStorage auto-save filure during a data migration Thre were no warnings, no backups, no way to recover my dataWhy on earth would an agent like this not create automatic backups?Why do I have a paid subscription to something so underperforming?This is unacceptable!

Greetings fellow Figma users! Last week I designed a social media post for a client using Montserrat as the main font. Today I was designing another one for them, so I copied the text boxes to another Frame. As soon as I selected them with the text editing tool the appearance of the font changed.These are all NOT locally installed Google fonts, so it might be related to an update on the library of Google fonts, or Figma’s for that matter. I tried to verify this with the Way Back Machine, although the website snapshots aren’t loading properly. Has anyone identified something like this before? if so, how can it be fixed?Thanks in advance! 😁 The image shows 2 groups of texts written with the typeface “Montserrat”, exemplifying how its appearance changed from October the 1st to the 11th, 2025.
