Why don’t I have Figma AI features on my Education plan?

Hello,

I am currently on a Figma Education plan. One of my classmates, who is also on the same Education plan, already has access to AI features like Remove background, Boost resolution, Edit image, and Make an image.

As I Have Attached his and mine Screenshots, in one Screenshot he have the action button, and the other who have normal button is mine.

However, I don’t see these features in my account. Could you please clarify if AI features are available for Education users, and if so, is it possible to enable them for my account? If there is a waitlist or any extra step needed, I would like to join.

Hi ​@Dhruv Vadera,Thank you for your interest in accessing our AI features!Currently, Figma’s AI features are available to customers on Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans. Boo. Of course Figma took away this option. I have been trying to figure out why the AI chat option is not showing up to use in my workflow process FOR DAYSnow for a big project I am working on. I am glad I came across this thread. Come on Figma, don’t do this to students. Enable the AIfeature. You guys are seriously getting enough money as it is from countless companies. This really makes me not want to use or recommend it going forward.
