I am trying to design something where when I click one chip it becomes active and every other chip becomes inactive. I cannot achieve this no matter what I try. AI is telling me to write an expression in design mode; i cannot do this. This is for potentially hundreds of chips, I can’t make a variable for each one.Ideally I would like to do the following:In PROTOTYPE: When a chip is clicked, set a variable to that name. In DESIGN: In the instance, set its state to a condition, ie “if chipName == [this chip], make this active. Otherwise inactive:I cannot find any way to do this. Someone please help me. AI says that there should be a f(x) button in the assign variable dropdown in design mode but it’s not there, despite me being on a pro plan. 

An example :- i have a component set with 3 variants ( named v1 , v2 , v3 ) , here i connected the v1 to v2 and v2 to v3 keeping the v3 empty … whats happening is .. the v3 is somehow connects to v1 creating a  loop ! is this a Bug or something ? as i started to animate stuffs i found it out . or there has been an update about component loop ? . need help!!

We need some colleagues to work on the projects. Which seats should we purchase? Is it possible that the only option is the full seat at €800?Also, we need to return (transfer back) a project to its rightful owner, who has a free account. When the project was originally transferred to us, we thought they would still be able to edit it, but it turns out a full seat is required. Therefore, we would like to transfer it back.Luca

Hi Figma team,We previously contacted support to request reducing our annual seats from 12 to 4 before renewal, and also reported an unintended developer monthly seat charge.However, we have not received any response yet.Today, we received a new invoice that still includes:12 annual seats 1 developer monthly seatThis is incorrect, as we only require 4 annual seats.We have already replied to the billing support email thread with our account and organization details, but we would appreciate if someone from the billing/support team could help escalate and review this issue as soon as possible.Ticket already submitted via support email.Thank you.

Hello,I am currently unable to activate my Figma Education plan, even though my education status has already been approved by SheerID.During my first verification attempt, there was a technical issue and I deleted my Figma account because I thought restarting the process would solve it.My team is already on an Education plan, and everyone in the team except me currently has full edit access. On my side, Figma still displays a message saying that I need to verify my education status, and that my edit access will soon be restricted.SheerID has confirmed that my verification was approved and provided me with the related verification details.The issue is that when I try to verify again, I receive an error saying that I have exceeded the number of verification attempts for this email. SheerID says they cannot reset anything because, on their side, the verification is already approved. I was billed for something I didn’t accept and I’ve tried contacting support, however my tickets (except one that I made 5 days ago now) has been marked as solved by one of your employees.I re-opened the ticket which the figma-support chatbot told me to do, and it was AGAIN marked as solved without any reply by the same employee.Is it being marked as solved due to me having another ticket open? If that’s the case, please clarify that before marking it as solved. Also, from googling around it seems like support usually replies within 1-2 days and they still haven’t gotten back to me. How long does it usually take for a figma rep to actually look through your ticket and drafting a solution/response? This matter is quite urgent for me as it decides if I should keep using figma or change to a competitor.

Hi, I was unexpectedly charged approximately 214.20 CAD on my account despite previously disabling my payment method and not actively using the service. I only expected a previous ~$50 payment last month.I would like clarification on what triggered this charge and would appreciate a refund or reversal, as this is unintended.Please also confirm that all subscriptions and auto-renewals are cancelled going forward.

Hi! As of today when I’m editing components, the whole Figma file freezes/displays extreme lag down.I can otherwise work on the file with no problems, but if I try to push color changes/sizing changes/etc. on to the main component, the whole file frozes. Currently this seems to affect only one file. I’m using Figma Desktop. I’ve followed the troubleshooting checklist;I’ve cleared Figma’s cache, checked I’m using the newest version, closed every other tab restarted my whole laptop (I’m on Mac) tried to remove heavy assets on the file (svg assets, images, etc.) tried using Figma with and without my company’s VPN (no change in performance)yet the issue persists. This is severely impacting my team’s work. :( 

I have a plugin to find accessibility issues. We fetch images, traverse the tree and do all sorts of operations but ever since migrating to the new documentAccess: ‘dynamic-page’, the plugin has become slower.

Every time after the library update the local components inside the file get broken, despite there is no any updates for the local files’ components from the Figma Library.I have to manually go over each and every component and click on it to get it fixed.Is there any fix to that?Does anyone trying to fix that issue?Why is the Figma degrade over time?Why is the Figma user experience gets worse and worse with every update?Is Figma dying?Should I consider an alternative?Is Adobe just puling Figma into a grave along with CC?

I was on the Professional Collab seats plan (US$5.00/month), but on May 14, 2026, I was charged US$38.50 (Invoice #V17EJUW4-0002) due to an unintended upgrade to the Professional Full seats plan that I did not knowingly initiate. I have already: - Submitted a support ticket via the Help Center form - Responded to Figma's email offering to connect me with a team member However, I have not received any follow-up response since then. Could someone please help escalate this refund request? I would like to revert to my original plan and receive a refund for the unexpected charge. Thank you.

Claude Code drops SKILL.md bodies over ~8 KB. In figma plugin v2.1.30, the following skills exceed this limit and load with only their description, losing all instructions:- figma-use (26.4 KB)- figma-code-connect (25.7 KB)- figma-generate-design (25.2 KB)- figma-create-design-system-rules (18.3 KB)- figma-generate-library (18.1 KB)- figma-implement-design (11.6 KB)- figma-generate-diagram (8.6 KB)Result: Claude Code can no longer reliably implement Figma designs because figma-implement-design and the mandatory figma-use preamble are stripped. Please split these into <8 KB SKILL.md files with the bulk of content moved to bundled reference files (progressive disclosure pattern).

Hi team,I submitted my plugin “Site Palette” for review about two weeks ago, and it’s still showing as private with the message: “This page is private for now. Only you can see it while your plugin is in review.”The plugin connects to a palette.site account and imports saved website color palettes as Figma local variables. It passed submission without any errors, and I haven’t received any feedback or approval email since.Could someone please check the status and flag it internally? I submitted my plugin for review on March 8th, and as of today (March 27th) I still haven't received any feedback from the Figma team. No approval, rejection, or requests for changes.That's over 20 days of waiting, while the submission form indicated a turnaround of 5-10 business days.Could anyone share how long the review process is currently taking? Is this wait time normal right now, or should I follow up somewhere specific?

Here’s my setup:I have a full website frame called “Desktop - 1”. Inside this frame, there is a transparent header/navbar placed over the hero image. The navbar contains: logo search icon navigation items (“Destinos”, “Experiências”, “Sobre”) burger menu login icon CTA button Originally, I built the navbar separately as isolated components and the hover animations worked perfectly.What I’m trying to achieve:When hovering “Destinos”, a green selector line appears underneath it. Same behavior for “Experiências” and “Sobre”. Smooth hover transition using Smart Animate.My current structure:“Desktop - 1” → full page/frame with hero section and transparent navbar. Separate component called “Component 4” → isolated navbar version with the green selector line under “Destinos”.The problem:When I integrate everything into the full desktop frame, the hover animation starts flickering/glitching.It looks like Figma is transitioning between:the full desktop frame and the isolated navbar compone

I am new to Figma make and started trying it out by asking it to organise some text in a specific way. The prompt was very specific and all the AI reasoning is correct, but the only issue is the preview will not load. I have tried clearing the cache and it’s still the same , has anyone else solved this issue ? There was some issues with locating my file, but it apparently was found according to the AI Still not viewable, even when I click the 3 dots beside “Vertical Settings List Design” and click “Preview Version”, nothing happens, is there any way to fix this or download the file locally ?

I work with a symphony orchestra, and we have been embedding pdfs of our program notes into the website. Instead I am trying to use Make to turn it into a web page, but it keeps flagging it as copyrighted material. I own the copyright! And after stating this several times, it still could not complete what I asked. There has to be some way around this. It built the structure but is making me paste in my own text (which is difficult to do from a pdf). Anyone else having this issue?
