When a Figma file or folder is connected to a Slack channel, comments made within about 10 minutes of each other get combined into a single Slack message instead of being sent individually. This happens on top of whatever delivery frequency you've chosen.
If your subscription is set to hourly or daily, everything in that window already arrives together as one digest; if it's set to real time, the 10-minute grouping is what keeps a burst of comments from turning into a string of separate pings.
If you want to check or change how the subscription is set up:
/figma list in the channel shows your existing subscriptions./figma subscribe lets you create a new one and choose real time, hourly, or daily delivery.
That said, I don't think adjusting the frequency will get you what you're actually after. Having the full comment text come through even when Figma groups comments together. I've passed it along as feedback for our product team.
