I have a button component with dozens of styles/sizes/variables. For icons in the button, I used to use icons from one library, but I recently tried to switch to diff icon set.  The standard icon size is 1 (16px), but for other button sizes, I want icon sizes 0.75, 2, 3, etc. However, when I try to update the icon instance in one of the button variants to Size 2, Figma changes ALL instances of the icon to Size 2 across all my button variants. I’m super frustrated. Anyone have ideas to address this?

Hi, on a ComponentNode (inside a ComponentSetNode) the node property variantProperties has been deprecated (https://www.figma.com/plugin-docs/api/properties/nodes-variantproperties/) but is there no other way to get the active variant properties of a component node? The doc suggests use componentProperties instead but that node property does not exist on a component node inside a component set node.

So, in principle, if an instance is inside of another component, changing the variant causes the text to reset back to the text of the master component. This also happens with other properties of the instance, e.g. if you set some booleans up they will be reset to how they were set in the master component once the variant is changed via variable. We have about 60 teams in our organizational account. Basicly one team for every customer and all files under it. All our designers have access to most of the teams. We want to downgrade to professional and want to know how that would work in our case? Is it possible to solve it so every team becomes a project instead? So we end up with 1 team and 60 projects and all our files are kept? I cant find any detailed information on this…

I have a component that displays two action icons on hover. This is actually a commonly used standard behaviour. The hover is instant. The actions are Settings and Delete. However, when I leave the hover with mouse leave, the icons remain visible, which they should not, as the component does not display these icons by default (they are hidden).But that only happens when I hover over the actions. As long as I don't "touch" them, the parent component works as expected.Where is the mistake?  

I’ve been on the Free plan and last I shared a prototype, I could do it without upgrading anything. This month, I decided to start with a Collab seat and when I tried the Share now, a window prompted to upgrade to a Full Seat.Is a Full Seat required now in order to share a prototype?

When uploading images through bulk via XLSX the image quality appears very blurred inside Figma Buzz, even though the photograph quality is high initially. Would be great if someone can help my understand why this may be happening? TIA

I’m currently working on a file that includes components from a design library. I see the button to “ignore autolayout” for any components that I add locally in the file, but it is not available for components from libraries.The only way to get it to apply it is to create a frame or group around the library component instance, add “autolayout” to that frame/group, and then ungroup.But then, I also can’t remove the “ignore autolayout.”This seems to be a bug.

Anything that changed in the last week? Suddenly no embedded prototype is playing anymore in the presenter mode. They load and work fine when previewing them in Edit, and when viewing them in the design Files, but nothing when presenting.  Even in old files that they used to work in are suddenly broken

I have created a dropdown component that has a hover mode, each instance has been named separately and shows correctly in design mode but when in present mode it defaults to the original component rather than the instance.  

I have multiple components created to make it easy to resize my social media frames. I just swap the components and they resize as expected. Now I have hundreds of instances (all in one size) and I want to generate multiple instances for each in various sizes by swapping the components. Has anyone found a batch script that can swap components? I was looking at Automator to see if I could build something, but not having much luck figuring that out.

I successfully applied a boolean property to my layer, but it is still telling me that variants are conflicting. The boolean property works as expected, but why am i getting the error? 

What does it take to get Figma to answer a support request? Being dead in the water with things that don’t work as they are supposed to is bad look Figma. At least help us out.

Hi, i had made an account on figma, I made a design file in it and transferred the ownership to other account after accepting the invite. Left the file after transferring ownership. Now my second account dont show the file anywhere. I have even checked trash its not there. It has happened to 2 of my design files up till now. How can i recover my files as these were important.
