Hello!My account is currently on the Education plan, but I’ve already reached the usage limit. I originally received the Education plan when I was studying in a course.Now I am working in Figma as part of a team, and I see that I need to verify my Education status. The issue is that I no longer have valid proof of enrollment, so I cannot verify as a student.I would like to purchase a paid plan instead, but I noticed that plans can only be purchased for a team. If I buy a plan for my own team, I won’t be able to transfer that subscription to the team I was added to.Could you please advise me what the best solution is in this case? Should I create and pay for a new team, or is there a way to upgrade my individual account while still working inside my current team?Thank you for your support!

Hello Figma Team,I’ve been using "Figma Make" and noticed that some of its features are very similar to "Cursor", which I found quite impressive. I was alerted that I had until Sept 29 to re-verify my Figma edu account, I have a corp account that I’m also signed on to for a part-internship. Thus, when I re-verified with my EDU account, re-directing me to the Figma App, it applied the perks/benefits onto that said corp account and not the true EDU account. Is there a way to re-instate and/or revert the benefits so it actually applies to the right account?

Hello, I’ve been trying for two weeks to reverify my student status. At first, I received the error that writes, 'We are unable to verify you at this time. If you believe you received this in error, please contact SheerID support.'I contacted SheerID, but they only emailed that they were unable to process my verification request. They didn’t provide any solution.  I retried verification on Figma, and received this error: Verification Limit ExceededWe're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.  Could you please resolve this or reset my verification limit? Apparently, my friends and many others on this forum had the same issue, and had to individually submit this request. Thank you!

I have been in contact with SheerID regarding the verification process for an education plan, and they confirmed I’m verified and approved, despite this Figma keeps telling me to reverify. I sent a request to Figmas support team but got back that I need to get support trough the Community Support Forum, So here we are. I cannot redo the verify process as it says my Verification limit is exceeded and that it seems like the offer is already redeemed. Please let me know how to solve this.Thanks!

Recently, the images endpoint no longer returns images in the correct resolution. In our Figma file, the node to be exported is 2808x4056px. However, when we use the endpoint, we now only get the image at a maximum of 1905x2751px. The system had worked without issues for over 1.5 years. I also checked the changelog and didn’t find any mention of changes to the maximum size.I’ve also experimented with other parameters of the endpoint. When I set scale to 2 or 4, I still only get a maximum of 1905x2751px. But when I set scale to 0.1, I get 281x406px, which corresponds to the original resolution of 2808x4056px.

As the account admin/owner, I’ve been able to add/remove members with @code.org emails ever since.We all received the re-verification notice at the beginning of Septemeber. I was able to verified, and our account has the Edu badge, but none of my teammates have been able to re-verify the same way I did. Hi, I am a college professor and a lot of my students have been locked out of Figma since the re-verification emails went out with recently. These are all students enrolled in an accredited university and in design classes that use Figma. And we use Figma in almost all our classes.I have watched these students be bounced back and forth between education@figma.com and SheerID -- a Catch-22 loop. They have given clear evidence that they are students. This also seems to just be happening randomly to some students and not others. Is there some ai-powered system that is making mistakes? Or is Figma about to go through a major change w/ its free access for Education?If so, there is a ton of stuff that we (and many others) would need to rethink.I am seeing a lot of messages about this, but is anything else having these issues?

While collaborating on a Figma file, we noticed an issue where text layers sometimes change unexpectedly. When my collaborator selects and edits a text object, it occasionally turns into a stroke-only text with no fill color. However, the properties panel still shows the text as having a fill, so the change isn’t reflected there.The only workaround I’ve found is to repeatedly click the affected text until it reverts back to displaying as a proper solid-filled text.Steps to Reproduce: Open a shared Figma file with at least two collaborators. I run some quick plugins on my local usually and at times when I see the figma links in gmail, it usually opens in my browser.  And I remember loading my plugins using the manifest.json and running it in browser. But for some reason recently that option seems to be missing. Is there any change on that? From app  From Browser

This is what's happening:1. When I try to copy and paste from the browser to the Figma Windows app, the function does not work at all. 2. When I try to copy and paste inside a figma file using the Windows app, the function still does not work.The shortcut and right-click options do not work for copying and pasting.I've had this problem since yesterday. I am using the most recent figma update for the figma windows app, and I checked the browser clipboard option, which does not help me.Please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. When using the built-in Google Font version of Open Sans, there are discrepancies between the font style and font weight between full seat users and dev mode users. All full seat users in our account see the following listed in Dev Mode as 600 and Semibold. The dev mode only users see it as 400 and Condensed Regular.Full seat: Dev mode only:

I made a website in Figma Site and everything was going well, but now when I preview the website, the font appears different than in the actual design. What is happening? 

Greetings, as I try to use Figma the slightest wrong touch causes a large pop-up option menu to cover the work area. This is the one that begins with “Copy… Paste here… Paste to replace...” Is there any way to disable this from ever appearing?

A team member wanted to make changes to one of our Buzz files. She has edit rights for the file. She made the changes in the Text boxes via the ‘edit content’ icon. I could see the changes in the text fields as well, but they aren’t showing in the design. They only showd in the design after i clicked into the text field and made a change as well (e.g. added a space or a ‘.’

figma account is paid ..despite doing the payment, owner account is still locked. This is unacceptable..totally frustrated after complaining multiple times to figma via hep center..nothing happened..

So I’ve built a site using variable sets as usual with intention to have both Light and Dark modes available only to find out there is no “Set variable mode” interaction in the menu for Figma Sites. Am I missing something? And if the feature is just gone, is there a workaround you can recommend to change the variable sets from the website UI? 

Since Figma made changes to the UI panel and how autolayout is displayed, I can’t figure out how to change the layer stacking order, which is resulting in my tooltips appearing beneath the text below. Anyone know how to find the settings to change this ordering?

Background:I am designing a simple sidebar for a website that can open and close. The sidebar contains element representing the different pages Each element can be active or not. When active, the color changes to blueActors:Sidebar Elements: as described in the top right panel, each variant is either active or not, and either open or closed. Sidebar: The Sidebar can be either open or closed Full prototype: As you can see, I only set the variant state to “active” directly in the prototype, so I only keep the parent component outside of the prototypes  Problem:When I close the sidebar, the instance swap “color” goes back to the default value I could create different Variants, one for each page, but I want to keep it easy and to the least number of variants possible.The sidebar is open and the first element is active​​​​​- When I close the sidebar, the text changes properly, but the color goes back to normal. why? As mentioned before, I could create one variant for each page with the elem
