When opening the file "Homework: Preparing Layouts for Development" in Chrome 143.0.7499.170 on Windows 10, an error appears: "An error occurred while opening the editor."

Hi @Ира Блатнер — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for flagging this.

Based on the browser and operating system information you’ve provided, your device meets Figma system requirements. Is this happening with only that file, or with all projects that you’re trying to access within Figma? When you see the “An error occurred while opening the editor” message, it’s most commonly related to a network proxy or security tool blocking part of Figma’s access.

To resolve this, you’ll want to ask your IT or network admin to add figma.com to any allowlists / safe lists. These guides outline the requirements in more detail:

If you’re still running into trouble after that, please run through the “quick fixes” checklist and let us know if that results in any improvements: Troubleshooting checklist → Try these quick fixes.

We’ll keep an eye out for your update — thanks again for bringing this up.
