At the moment, we don’t offer support in Spanish, so I hope it’s okay that I’m replying in English. Sorry to hear you’re running into trouble reconnecting your Figma Make project with GitHub.
The following steps usually resolve this issue. Can you please give these a try and let me know if they help?
Fully close and reopen Figma.
Open your Figma Make file.
Open the Make settings.
Click GitHub under Integrations.
Select Disconnect for your connected repository.
Try connecting a repository and using the integration again.
If that doesn’t resolve, to help narrow this down, please share a bit more detail with the following:
Are you seeing any specific error message?
What steps did you take leading up to the disconnection?
Lastly, I can see that you have a ticket open with our Product Support team: 1640635. They’ll follow up directly at the email associated with your account as soon as there’s an update.
Thanks for your patience while we work through this with you.
Hi @Hernan Buitrago — thanks for the update, and sorry to hear you’re still running into issues here. I’m offering some more information that may help move things forward:
Regarding the file “too large” message you’re seeing in Figma Make, this resource may be helpful for identifying what the error means and how to fix the issue: Troubleshoot in Figma Make → Error messages.
I can also see that you already have an open case with our Product Support team for this issue (case: 1658444). If the suggestions above do not move things forward, please reply directly to that email and include:
a link to the file where this is happening
can edit access granted to support-share@figma.com
a screen recording showing the issue, if possible.
Thanks for your patience and for working with us as we dig into this further.
Hi @Hernan Buitrago — thanks for the update and for the screenshot.
Based on what you’re describing and the error message displayed, it looks like the content being pasted into the AI chat or the selection targeted with the edit tool may be too large. As a next step, try running the prompt again with a smaller selection and let us know if that allows you to move forward.
I also followed up on your report, and our Technical Quality team is actively reviewing the latest details you shared. Your case number is: 1658430, and they’ll follow up directly at the email address tied to your Figma account as soon as more information is available.
