My college doesn't issue student email IDs. I want to go through manual verification, I have college documents to voucher for my student status. I have contacted SheerID but they can't provide solution.

Hey @Aritri Bhattacharjee, thanks for reaching out!

At the moment, we’re unfortunately unable to manually verify student eligibility using a personal email address. Verification is handled directly through SheerID, and while they can verify some higher-education users with personal emails, this depends entirely on the specific institution and their records.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, thank you!

Verification is handled through SheerID yet the agent refuse to verify me (even after submitting college documents) because Figma platform's policy is to accept students having a valid school email ID and reject students even if they have valid school documents. They aren't able to solve my issue because of this platform's policy and Figma cannot solve this issue because they don't handle verification, then whom should I contact to get a solution. The refusal to take responsibility by either platforms and looking into this issue as many colleges do not issue mail id is astounding. My issue is not resolved.

Hey @Aritri Bhattacharjee, I understand that being caught between two platforms, with neither able to make an exception, feels frustrating.

I want to be transparent here, I’m not able to manually verify student eligibility or override the current verification requirements, even when valid school documentation is provided through a personal email address.

That said, I’ve taken your feedback seriously and while I can’t resolve this directly, your experience and feedback are important and will be passed along.

I’m really sorry I don’t have a better solution for you right now.
