We find a log says: 376*****11@qq.com was added to the *** Team plan as a guest after ***.**@dida.com approved their request to edit the 网页 file.

Hi @dodd

I understand your concern about how seat management works.

Admins can configure seat approval settings for each seat type. Depending on how these settings are configured, users without admin privileges may be automatically granted a Full seat when they request edit access.

There are three possible seat approval settings:

  • Manually approve seats: All seat upgrade requests must be manually approved by an admin.
  • Manually approve, unless a seat is available (default): If a paid seat is available, requests are automatically approved.
  • Auto-approve seats: All seat upgrade requests are automatically approved. If no seats are available, a new paid seat is purchased.

If the approval setting is configured to the second or third option, a request may be automatically granted without explicit admin approval. We recommend reviewing your approval settings to confirm they’re configured as intended.

To prevent this from happening in the future, we recommend setting the approval option to “Manually approve seats.” You can find detailed instructions here: Set approval settings for new seats

Thanks,

xxxx@qq.com's request to upgrade from a View seat to a Full seat was auto-approved via an available seat.

He is neither an organization administrator, nor does he have more than view access in the xxx team.
