Figma Make project completely unusable

Hello,

My Figma file is completely unusable due to a massive amount of runtime errors.
Figma freezes and becomes unresponsive, even after duplicating the file.

This started after a backend integration issue, which is now resolved,
but the file seems stuck in a corrupted runtime state.

I cannot access Preview or Diagnostics properly, and the editor itself becomes unstable.

This project represents several months of work.
Could you please help recover or reset the file state on your side?

The next best step is for our team to take a closer look at the file. I can see that you already have a ticket open with our Product Support team (case number: 1667195), and I’ll make sure the context you’ve shared here is included as they dig in.

To help us track this more closely and watch for similar reports, could you also reply here with either a screenshot or the exact text of the error message you’re seeing?

As part of the investigation, please reply to your open case with the following:

  1. a link to the file where this is happening
  2. can edit access granted to support-share@figma.com for the impacted file
  3. a screen recording showing the issue in action (if possible).

Dear Tom 

Thank you very much for getting back to me and for taking the time to look into this — I really appreciate it.

At the moment, I don’t see a single specific or stable error message. When I open the project, Figma quickly becomes unresponsive due to the large number of runtime errors, and I’m unable to interact with the file at all. I can’t use Preview, Diagnostics, or even the automatic error-fix feature, as the editor freezes almost immediately.

Everything was working perfectly before, and these errors appeared suddenly without any gradual warning or change in behavior.

I’ve now shared the file with edit access so it can be reviewed and investigated by your team. Unfortunately, because the file freezes so quickly, it’s difficult to capture a clean or consistent error message, but I’ll do my best to provide a screen recording if possible.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can provide to help with the investigation. This project is very important to me, so I truly appreciate your support.
