Hello! I encountered such a problem: I install the font, when I open the program again, the fonts are yellow (not installed), the same problem in the browser. Although they are installed on the computer. And also installed Font installers. I have to reinstall the fonts every time. What do you advise?topics before posting!

On Windows 11, using Figma 125.11.6, the copy and paste functions are unavailable in the variable management page. For example, when I try to copy a color value using Ctrl+C, it only copies the entire line of variable data, not the text I want. This results in the copied color value being empty when pasted elsewhere.The older version of variable management allowed copying individual text values. Hopefully, this can be fixed.

Hey guys, I’m really stressed about this, and support hasn’t gotten back to me yet. I’ve read that having a paid account should mean faster support, but no one has responded for over 30 hours. I’m the account owner, and earlier today I discovered that a business-critical design file was deleted and subsequently removed from the trash. I’ve checked the deleted items section, but the file is no longer visible or accessible. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? This file is essential to an active client project, and the deletion appears to have happened recently.

Hello, I am a student at Harvard University and I am having issues updating/creating a Figma student account due to Sheer ID verification.  I have submitted a help ticket to Sheet ID but they are requiring a student email address, which has not been assigned to me to date.  I can provide the necessary information that confirms my enrollment.  My classes begin on Monday January 26th and we have a group Figma project that has been shared with the class.  Any help would be most appreciated to get access to the software prior to the start of class.

I have multiple components created to make it easy to resize my social media frames. I just swap the components and they resize as expected. Now I have hundreds of instances (all in one size) and I want to generate multiple instances for each in various sizes by swapping the components. Has anyone found a batch script that can swap components? I was looking at Automator to see if I could build something, but not having much luck figuring that out.

I have tried many times to verify my educator account, however, after two trials it now always says that I have exceeded my limit for applying for education plan.  I tried different work emails, and I have contacted SheerID a few times. I also provided screenshots of my teaching assistant profile and a screenshot of our class in Canvas, but  all my communications ended in:“We were unable to process your verification request. While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.”

I need a way to scale text with its parent container. In CSS, I would use cqh or cqw, but I don’t know how to recreate that functionality in Figma, or if it’s possible.

Figma Make’s AI tool is clearly  improving but on our dime. We have limited credits that are used up when the AI makes and error, identifies a better way to proceed, produces updates and changes that don.t work. The user then has to create a new propt that describes the problem while the ai tries another approach that still doesn’t work. That alone is not sop bad, but when it quickly runs your out of credits it feels like we are paying for training the AI. As the Program Chair for a college with several courses were we train students to use Figma this creates a real problem. What can you recommend tohelp with this issue?DB

Hi there.  I reverified my figma for education plan and after weeks of waiting and talking to support I go notified that my work email got verified for the edu plan instead of my personal/school email 😭. I’m not sure why my work email was associated with the edu plan in the first place but I’ve been trying to move the edu plan to my personal or school email and filled out the form that they sent to do that but it’s been over a month and no change has happened. I don’t even have access to my work email anymore because my internship is over so I can’t use the Edu plan. Is there anyway I can get help or do I have to keep waiting?

I make it a component using CTRL+ALT+K. I go to my work page where I paste this component, then I go to the interactions (prototype). I want to play it on click, but in the video dropdown menu, my video is grayed out, so I can't select it as the target for my playback action.If I copy the same video to my work page (without it being a component), the video isn't grayed out (interactions in prototype).Can you tell me why? Is it simply that videos can't be components that would allow the use of prototype and interaction functionality?Thank you very much for your help.Yann
