Hello,We signed up for a one-year "Design Seat" (Professional Plan) subscription on September 27, 2024. We now want to upgrade to the Organization Plan with a "Full Seat" to access some features we need.During the upgrade process, we noticed that the 12-month charge reflects the full cost of the new Organization Plan, not including the import fee we've already paid for 12 months since September for the current Professional Plan (Still 5 months already paid). Is it possible to reduce the upgrade fee? We'd rather not lose the value of our current subscription just by upgrading to a higher-tier plan, and we can't wait until September to finalize our current annual subscription.PS: We tried to communicate with support and sales 6 days ago and still no response at all to escalate our requirement.

I am encountering a bug where the nested animation inside a component stops in the middle when variant state is changed using variables. Can anyone from Figma team help? Steps to reproduce: Step1: Lets say a component named X has 3 variants(named alpha, beta and gamma) out of which one variant(alpha) has an animation (animated using a nested component named Y). Step 2: A local string variable(StringVar) is created and the value is set to one of the component X’s variant names eg:‘alpha’. Step 3: Drag a child component of component X onto canvas and link the state to the local string variable created above. Step 4: Create two buttons labeled betaBTN and gammaBTN with mouseenter and mouseleave interactions. So on mouseenter, the local variable StringVar is set to variant names (beta or gamma) based on the buttons(betaBTN or gammaBTN) the mouse is moved over. This works well so far. How to hide the section labels like "Alignment", "Position", "Rotation", etc., which are small tool section headers inside the right-hand panel in Figma’s UI.

Hello,I’m part of my company’s IT team. We have Figma setup in our Okta instance with SCIM provisioning.We followed the steps in https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22773906477591-Manage-seats-via-SCIM-using-Okta and made Okta user groups that each are assigned the unique user type laid out. However, any new Figma user that is provisioned to Figma is added to the org as a Viewer. Why is this happening?   

I accidentally added additional seats. Looking at the billing, it looks like an additional amount has been incurred next month. How can I cancel additional seats.?

I released a plugin over a week ago, but the status still shows it is under review. May I ask where I can check the review progress of the plugin? Or, if there is a problem with the plugin, where can I find out about it? 

Hello, I’m new to figma plugin development. I’ve read the docs and the pages on libraries and bundling, which helped me use webpack to split up my `code.ts` and break it down into smaller more relevant typescript files, but my `ui.html` file is a mess and too crowded with 2600 lines at the moment. I wasn’t able to find a way to move functions and event listeners outside of the default html file and import them from a separate location like I did for the `code.ts`. I also couldn’t figure out how to move styles from the `ui.html` to an independent style sheet like `ui.css`. I did search around prior to posting and looked at related topics about linking css to ui.html but didn’t find a solution.

I can´t see the layout grid in some of my design files.

While onboarding at a new company, I rely heavily on the structure that assets/components have. In UI3 there is no structure of the assets, just a long list of all the components 😱.How am I supposed to find anything now the structure is totally gone. Am I missing something? Do I have a setting wrong? Considering we will be forced to work with UI3 in 2 days, I have to solve this issue now. I understand changes are hard for every user (maybe more so for designers), and I’m trying to adapt, but its a struggle if things don’t work properly. Lost all of my speed in designing. It’s a pretty big issue in general. Anyway if we can solve this assets issue that would be great.  

SOS from Slime City! When I examine images in Figma, I can not find their DPI anywhere. Is there any way to ascertain if images will reproduce poorly on export, or print, besides squinting? Eg: If I'm looking at an old file, or something others have been working on, is there any way to determine if the image has been stretched, or what it's original size was?  If not, here's a great idea for a useful little feature… 🕵️♂️🧪✨

Hi Figma Team,I need urgent help with two files that I have apparently lost all edit privileges on, although I created them from scratch. I now get the “This is an unassigned draft file - Ask any admin to move it into a different project.” message.I really don’t know what I could’ve done wrong, and I can’t find any indication that this was created in a different project or team. If so, how could I even tell or know who to contact? as far as I know I’m the admin on these files.Please help me out! these are very time sensitive.Thanks in advance

Hello Figma community. Im coming from the world of 3D design, and figma is a new interaction field for me. I have a question regarding some buttons and how they behave which is confusing me to understand, so I hope the community can help me out. I have a task to make a button with 6 different states, some states have a bracket with (on) & (off) which I dont understand why, if someone can ellaborate on this would be great. I have made an example on how I believe these buttons should be, if they become interactive.And I also have uploaded a practise PNG if someone would like to do his or her own version. why is there 2 states with the same name, Default, Pressed, hover? This is my understanding how it would be, the offs would be less bright and darker. The hovering states one would be brighter when the mouse hovers, and the hover off would be dark I suppose. Hi team, this follows the launch of UI3. We use a design system, and one thing our team found was incredibly slow performance of the component search (Shift I).From less than a second to minutes. This was related to UI3 only, as we could switch between UI2 and UI3, and where UI2 would take less than a second to return relevant results, UI3 would just show “loading” placeholders for minutes at a time in the same file. I was thinking yesterday I should take a video, only to be locked into UI3 today. Our team would regularly check UI3 every few weeks, as this would happen across devices, on web, and in the app. This is literally 100x worse performance (from less than a second to minutes). It’s like UI3 does not have a debounce, or the search is trying to do other things at the same time like identify how may of those components are in the file (great to know, but way less useful than a fast search). I have seen numerous other threads on this, and I was just wondering if there was any upda

I want to add an external developer from another company to a project of ours. He doesn’t have an account and I want to give him the dev seat, but I’m worried that If I pay for a dev seat on my professional plan, he can view all other projects which I dont want to.Is possible to give him access to specific files of a project with that dev seat and at the same time, he only can see these files and nothing else?THanks

How can I get the toolbar back to the top? Now it's impossible to navigate normally, the toolbar blocks half the screen, it looks disgusting. In the old version it was much more convenient to navigate the program

Styles and variables are being listed only if “All libraries” option is selected. When I select a library it spins forever. Even if I create and publish a new library and go to a new file, nothing changes. Anyone having this? This started with last update I guess.

My team and I are experiencing a frustrating issue with Figma's handling of color variables from our design system library. While we have no problems accessing and using styles, color variables are extremely unreliable. In some frames, Figma correctly lists and displays the variables, while in others, it fails to recognize them, even when the colors are actively used within the file. This inconsistency occurs across multiple team members' Figma accounts. We've searched for similar reports but haven't found a solution. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

We have connection problems with the Lokalise plugin and we get this message:“An unexpected error has occurred......Try restarting the plugin, if that doesn't help - logout or disconnect and start again”.We have tried disconnecting and logging out and it goes into a loop unable to interact with the Figma plugin, and in turn unable to upload content.  

Hi, I’m using a Professional plan and I noticed that AI feature has been disappeared. I’ve restarted Figma but can’t find it. I’m already on the latest update. How can I fix this?
