Hi, my prototype stopped loading correctly. Before that, everything worked, and now the laptop literally overworks to play the functions on the prototype and still nothing works at all. The whole prototype just stands still. I'm sending the link below.

Hello @Sofia Iteva 🙌 Welcome to our community! Thanks for the link. Since everything worked fine initially, lets look at recent changes.

Here are the two fastest ways to test this safely:

  • Check version history: Open the file-name dropdown and select Show version history. Preview an older version from before the issue started and try running the prototype. (Note: You'll need edit access to restore a version. The Starter plan holds a 30-day history, while paid plans have a full timeline.)

  • Duplicate and tweak: Right-click the file and select Duplicate so you can experiment without changing the live file. If the duplicate runs smoothly, a heavy element might have crept into your current version. Try changing recent interaction animations from Smart animate to Instant, or check the file's overall memory load:

If older versions are stalling too, the culprit might be environmental. Try running through our quick troubleshooting checklist (clear your cache, force-quit, or try a fresh browser window).

A few questions to help me pinpoint this:

  • does the prototype freeze right at launch or during a specific interaction?
  • Also, does it happen in both the browser and the desktop app?
