Hi,Before figma release import/export variables feature, I often use Design Token manager plugin to work with my variables. Today, I can't import json back to figma because the format is different, instead I use figma native feature, which is so so much problematic. If I have 2 ways alias, it require the alias collection already imported in the app, therefore my variables is broken (not completed)If i have outside figma system variables, I can’t import too. Figma trying to lock user in it’s own system, and feature is half baked release.Anyone try different methods/ plugins so you can import your into figma?

Hello Figma Team,I am trying to embed a Figma Make design into an external website using an iframe, with a URL like:https://www.figma.com/make/xxx/yyy?node-id=0-1&t=zzz-1. However, the iframe does not seem to load, likely due to Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions.I have confirmed that Figma Photo (Prototype) can be embedded using the same method without any issues, for example:https://www.figma.com/proto/xxx/yyy?node-id=2-1&starting-point-node-id=2%3B1I have been using the following embed format:https://www.figma.com/embed?embed_host=share&url=${encodeURIComponent(originalUrl)}Could you please let me know if there is any way to embed Figma Make designs via iframe, or if there is an official workaround or recommended approach for displaying Make designs externally?Thank you very much for your support.

So, I‘ve generated 200+ beautiful artworks in a gouache-like style of cities. They look like city postcard drawings. I needed the for my side project.!-->But I figured why not publish them in the Figma community and earn a few bucks, to support my project. Is that legal? Obviously, the illustrations are color-corrected, watermark-removed and modified for consistency, so there‘s a human input by me involved.While reasing the Community resources guidelindes, I didn‘t spot any explicit forbidding of selling such artwork, so hopefully that‘s a green light. But still, I‘d like to ask the Figma community about it. What do you think?

Hi Figma Support Team, I by mistake deleted a file and then also “permanently deleted” it from trash. It’s extremely unfortunate as it was my mistake completely but it had my years of work and specially in past 2 months I did a lot in the file. Hi everyone, I recently pushed an update to my plugin to fix an issue, but the update hasn’t propagated to all users yet (including one of my own Figma accounts). For example, it works correctly on one account but not on another. I also noticed that it works in the browser version of Figma, but not in the Figma desktop app.How should I handle this? A number of my users are experiencing the same issue, and I’d like to understand the best way to resolve or mitigate it.

Hi everyone! I’ve been using Figma for a while and I just realised there’s this new quick toolbar that appeared out of nowhere (the one above the toolbar). Before I can hold Ctrl + double click on an image to rescale it but now with this new quick toolbar it enters crop mode which doesn’t really work for me. Please if there is a way to hide it or at least revert it in case I accidentally hit something? Thanks a lot! 

I am pushing updates from my design system and when updating the instances in external files I am not seeing changes. For context, I had some cards with an outline in my design system, I have now removed these outlines and updated various times in the other file and still I am not seeing the outlines disappear. I have even tried the ‘repair component connections’ command I have seen in other posts and that has not worked, even though it said it repaired various connections. After pushing another update after this was done the outlines are still on the cards. What is the point in the design system if I can’t make changes at the source? Now I have to remove the outlines from each individual card in my other file, this is very frustrating. 

Hello! While trying to publish a new version of the plugin we were asked to add 2fa to our hello@viewst.com account to get the possibility to publish a new version of the plugin.  But after we add it and try to publish a new version, we get a new error message "We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed" that blocks our possibility to publish a new version with fixes of our plugin.  

Whenever I want to proofread text, I have to copy it into a browser or a Grammarly editor, fix it, then paste it back. This is especially painful when working on multiple frames or variants with repeated copy.This back-and-forth slows down the entire product design process.Direct Grammarly support inside Figma would make writing cleaner and faster.

This issue has been happening on and off today which is preventing me from moving forward. Is anyone else seeing this? It’s also happening to the published version.

Hi,I have a major issue with the font Inter not rendering the proper weight in Figma.The problemFigma’s Inter Medium displays as Inter Regular. Here’s my case:I have deinstalled my Inter font locally, and reinstalled the latest Inter version (4.1). Only the weights regular, medium, semibold and bold.Next, I checked the Google fonts Inter font, and checked regular and medium weights with a custom typed sentence. I duplicated this message in Figma with my ‘new’ Inter font. Me and my product team clearly define Inter Medium in Figma, to be Inter Regular. Inter Medium in development, google fonts & even font book clearly look much bolder. I figured that Figma must render it the wrong way, since the other sources match. figma.createConnector has always been limited to FigJam.A few years ago, I wrote a workaround plugin that allowed users to quickly clone and relink existing FigJam connectors in Figma.However, it recently started throwing this error:Error: in clone: Cloning CONNECTOR nodes is not supported in the current editorI’m wondering if Figma has changed and restricted their API. Since there’s no last updated date on the API page, I’m not entirely sure. It also seems like there may no longer be any viable workaround :(

I only wanted to use FigJam, and I thought upgrading to Pro would apply just to my own account. Instead, I’m now being told I have to pay €192 before I can downgrade again. This is very frustrating, and the invoice calculations are not clearly explained.I hope Figma improves this process, because transparency and clear communication are essential for a user-friendly subscription service. Could someone please help me understand these charges and fix this issue? Hi! I can’t seem to smart animate my button radius to the way i want it. i decided to throw in a test button and it works perfectly like i wanted. my main button animates like it “dissolves” into the hover state. whereas the test button is animating properly. any idea how i should fix this? animation setting:

During Figma Schema 2025 they announced upcoming support for extended variable collections and native variable export/import conforming with the DTCG token specification.It was announced during this session: Here is a screenshot of what they were proposing:An update to the app dropped a few days ago with extended collections but I cannot find how to export variables to JSON (without using a plugin).I don’t have the “Export modes” option in my dropdown menu, even with our Enterprise account.Has anyone got that feature and how do you do it?
