Question

Navigate from Desktop 2 to Desktop 1 and scroll to a specific block (Tariffs) – Scroll to not working / target frame not visible in Destination

Two frames on same page: Desktop 1 (long page with Tariffs block) and Desktop 2.
On Desktop 2 button "Tariffs". Need: click → open Desktop 1 → scroll to Tariffs block.

What I did:

  • Created small anchor frame inside Desktop 1 above Tariffs.

  • Set Navigate to → Desktop 1.

  • Scroll to option either missing or shows frames from Desktop 2 instead of Desktop 1.

Tried: dragging blue node, adjusting frame height, disabling Clip content, restarting. No fix.

Question: How to reliably link from one frame to another and scroll to an internal element? Known bug or workaround?

I'm a beginner, this is my first project in Figma. So please keep explanations simple. Thanks for your patience!

Hi, @костя! Thanks so much for your post.

It looks like you’ve tried quite a lot to get this to work, which is actually great as a beginner because it helps you learn more of Figma even though you didn’t find a solution. Just to clarify, are you working in Figma Design or Figma Sites? We don’t currently support this in either, but just so I know where you are working.

A coworker actually provided a solution as covered in this Loom video. You’re going to make a click interaction from one frame to another, then a 1ms after delay interaction which triggers a Scroll To event to the child destination with an instant transition. If you want to play around with this first, we have a Scroll To interaction playground file which can be helpful.

Let me know how it goes!
