 I’m hoping someone can clarify this for me. I used to copy objects from Adobe Illustrator with Cmd +C and paste them into Figma with Cmd +V, and they would arrive as editable vectors. I’m absolutely certain this worked before. Lately, though, every paste comes in as a flattened image instead of vectors. Nothing in my workflow has changed, so I’m starting to wonder if I’m losing my mind! Has Figma (or Illustrator) changed something recently? Is there a setting or workaround I’m missing? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I designed a UI for an app in Figma. I need to generate the UI code through eka claude, do I need a Figma pro account for that?

I don't know why but when I use background blur in my frames now I see this glitch... It never happened to me before, now every time... Can anyone tell me how to fix it? 

I have created a site on Figma Make.Published it to my domain.But...I am not able to link to a specific page within that site. If I ask Figma Make to create anchor links that works. But the link does not work If I embed that link on another file.anyone has managed to find a work around for this?

When I draw a straight line, the coordinate of the line remains on the edge even when i set the stroke position to centre. This make it difficult to align perfectly. See this example where I am making a cross. Alignment is imperfect even when I use the align tools. You can see the bounding box of the line is on the edge rather than the centre. Can I fix this?Object aligns to the selection bounding box rather than centre of line. This is the result of align both lines with the position align options. I’m trying to make a perfect cross, this is the result.

I’ve been trying to use Figma MCP Server with Cursor but it never seems to get the position of each shape or object in the frame correct. Here’s what is in Figma: Here’s what my output is in React: 

My prototype is linked above. The problem is in climate control: when I click the up arrow button, the app stops responding and the power button disappears. I can’t click on anything. 

Previously, the code obtained using the get_code tool in Figma's MCP had the following import statement at the beginning:```const img = "http://localhost:3845/assets/0f46fbf7be0964a515990e4283d4dc25d73db9bb.svg";```However, when looking at the code obtained using the get_design_context tool, it looks like this:```import { img } from "./svg-4zqz3";```The import statement for the get_code tool explains how to obtain the asset, but the one for the get_design_context tool gives me no idea.What is "svg-4zqz3"?And how is it designed to obtain the actual SVG file for "img"?

Hi, I’m using a Figma Education account and linked a FigJam assignment in Google Classroom.  On desktop, students can open and submit the assignment normally, but on iPads and Android tablets they cannot open it properly.Some devices ask for repeated login authentication, and others say the account is already registered but still don't load the file.I also checked the support request page, but I cannot submit a ticket because my account type doesn’t allow direct support.Could you help clarify:1. Is this a known limitation for Education accounts on mobile devices?  2. Are there specific browser or login settings required for iPad/Android?  3. Is there a workaround for students to open and submit FigJam assignments on tablets?Thank you.

I made the colors as variables and created primitives and tokenized them. But when someone add the design system kit as a library in their project, how can they make the components (and their variants) take the colors of their project - not keep the colors of the design system kit?Thanks a lot for your help

If you look at photos 1 and 2, the auto-layout is hanging.If you modify the text in that state, the length of the figure should change according to the length of the text, but it hasn't changed. Why doesn't the length change when the auto-layout is hanging?

Can Figma Make integrate and make use of our existing design system to streamline our design workflow?

I have exported my published design system to Make and it is then selected in the Make chat window, but when I ask it to simply add some buttons to a page it doesn’t use the button components from my design system, it uses some generic styles.Can Figma Make actually use my components?!

I am creating a simple context menu. I have an item component and a menu component with auto-layout that consists a few items. I can duplicate items inside the master component, but I can’t do it in an instance. Is there a solution for that, or do I need to create variants with different numbers of items?ChatGPT and Gemini say that there is an option called “Children property” in Figma that can help, but I don’t trust them 😆

Hi Figma Plugin Team and Community,I'm experiencing a behavior where Figma shows "Loading 21 pages for plugin..." when I run my plugin for the first time after opening a Figma file with 21 pages.Background:• My Figma file has 21 pages• When I first run my plugin, I see: "Loading 21 pages for plugin..."• This happens BEFORE my plugin UI appears• After the first run, running the plugin again does NOT show this loading messageWhat I've tested:I created a minimal test version that ONLY calls figma.showUI():figma.showUI(__html__, {  width: 878,  height: 631,});Result: The "Loading 21 pages" message STILL appears.My Questions:1. I've set up Code Connect CLI in Figma to create mappings between Figma components and my component library. The mapping works correctly when accessed through the local MCP server - I can retrieve all the component mapping information as expected. However, when I switch to using the remote MCP server, the same request returns only an empty object {} instead of the mapping data.

I have been experimenting with Figma MCP server(local) with Augment in Intillij IDEA and it was working fine until Nov 25. But last week when I was working, it started returning error -{"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-32001,"message":"Invalid sessionId"},"id":null}I checked with Admin that there is no change from their side. Also, when we load Figma design, the “Enable Figma MCP server” section shows temporarily and disappers. I have tried on two different machines with latest version of Figma desktop. Thank you
