We’ve built a large design library in our organization account that many internal teams use.Sometimes, we also work with external vendors (like agencies or freelancers) who need to use this library and get updates regularly. Because we’re a large corporation, it’s not practical to add them as paid seats just for a short project – the approval and payment process is too complex.What’s the best way right now to share a library with people outside the organization so they can actually use the components (not just view them)?Is exporting the library as a .fig file really the only option – even though that means they won’t get any future updates?Thanks!

I’m encountering an issue when trying to publish an urgent update to my Figma plugin.Plugin name: 批量修改字体字号 Batch Font Size ModifierPlugin link:https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1445383264057474829/batch-font-size-modifierWhen I attempt to publish the update, I receive the following error message:“Fix errors before publishing. We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to publish this plugin.”I believe this issue may be related to a recent change in my account details, but I’m unable to find any way to resolve or verify this on my end.

I used a published library for my figma make file.I did some work.I exported the design and pasted into Figma. But the components it supposedly used from the Design System / Library didn’t come across but pastes in just as figma elements.Is this correct?

Hello everyone, I have a doubt. In my brand palette file, I’d like to have a “Brand palette” and an “Infographic palette”, which would include much more shades. For the “Brand palette”, I created specific variables, but now I’m wondering if in the same file I can create also variables for the “Infographic palette”.Also, when using the library in other file, I’d like to be able to select the palette I wanna see between these two.Do you think it is possible or do I have to create two different libraries?Thank you!

Is there a way in Figma to adjust all the typography in a group of text elements at once, instead of having to select each element individually?(In the group are just text elements.)When I select the group with multiple text elements in same typo, the typo settings won’t be shown.When I select all text elements auf a group via cmd + shift / mark, same behaviour.Only in case I select elements which are not part of a group via cmd + shift or I select the text elements one by one with shift, I can adjust the typo settings. However, I would like to select a group of text elements and change them directly all together.

Dear Community, I have been exploring the possibilities of Figma Sites and I have encountered a big problem.I have made a Design System as I usually do, and made some page layout that work perfectly in Figma Design. But, when I add the library to Figma Sites and import af button with a “while hovering” and “while pressing” state, the buttons never goes back to the original state after hovering it. It a simple component with the 3 states of the button. Is there a fix for this? 

I'm building a responsive alert banner and trying to achieve a behavior similar to fit-content in CSS. Here's what I need: The banner container stretches to 100% width, Inside, there's a button and a text label, The text should stay on one line and hug its content until it reaches the limit of the container, Once it can't fit anymore, it should wrap onto multiple lines (essentially behave like fill). Think of it as:"hug content until there's no space left → then behave like fill".This should happen dynamically, depending on the container width,so no fixed max width.Is th

Hello, I have two plugins that have been posted on the figma platform for several years. This morning, all users suddenly said that our plugins couldn't be found in the resource community. I hope your team can provide me with a specific explanation of the reasons for taking down these two plugins of mine. And apply to restore these two plugins to the figma platform. Setup: Foundations library which contains all color variables (and currently 4 modes, 1 deleted mode (The Grape Brand)). The Foundations library is used in a Components library and several design files The Components library is also used in the same design files Issue When i’m in my Components file and select variable mode on page level it shows 5 modes (4 current and 1 old mode) and except for the default mode it shows exclamations marks behind all of them. When i’m in the Components file but select a layer and change the mode on layer level I see the 4 correct modes and no exclamation marks. If I open a design file which uses both the Components and Foundations library I get the 4 correct modes and no exclamation marks on both page and layer level. It’s not that big an issue that I cannot change the mode on page level

Is it possible to connect to the Remote Figma MCP server from your own client? To be specific, could I build an Agentic system that connects to the Remote Figma server, takes in a link to the Figma design and generates the code for that design using the output from Figma's MCP toolset?

 Hello everyone Since the update for the Figma site came out, I've been wondering how to run a carousel, whether based on an image or text. The Figma site doesn't support on drag. What solutions have you been providing for this? I have prototyped many complex carousels where each slide change causes radical changes to the page, something that excites me a lot when browsing, now how do I bring this to the Figma website?  

I've created a Figma plugin that works well for my own use, but I'm concerned about sharing it with my team because the code is readable to anyone who accesses it. Is there an option to encrypt the plugin or export it in a binary format to protect the source code? I want to prevent others from being able to view or modify the code while still allowing them to use the plugin. Any guidance would be appreciated.

as title, I’m trying to use my published library in a Figma Make project, but the export for Figma Make dialog does not pop up. Also when I click Import From Figma in Make, it does nothing. Tried closing the app and reopen but still the same. I’m on a pro education plan. Is this feature available for me? thank you

Hi team, we have been prototyping some fairly complex web app concepts, and just wanted to understand what happens as we get into really high version numbers (e.g. up version 95 in the one I am looking at right now) – would like some understanding/reassurance of the limits before we really start orienting our prototyping process around Figma Make.Is there a limit on how many prompts a single file can have? Are there any risks in having a file with very high numbers of versions? I saw another post saying their file stopped being able to iterate at version 900 because of how large the prompt was getting (with all the history). Is there a way to “fork” a new file, and this file effectively restarts at version 0 – I was surprised that duplicating retains all the previous versions.Slightly worried about the usage limits of roughly 80 prompts per month – I could do this in a morning! We have an old Figma design system built on variants from about four years ago.Since Figma moved toward variables, it doesn’t really work properly anymore.We’re looking for plugins or tools (paid is totally fine) that can help us migrate to variables without rebuilding everything from scratch. 

Hi everyone, I’m working on a project in Figma Make and really enjoying the workflow, but I’m stuck on one important point: how do you share a prototype created in Figma Make?I can’t find any option to generate a shareable link or access a Prototype mode, and I’m not sure whether this is a limitation of Figma Make or if there’s a specific step required to export or transfer the work into Figma Design.Could someone clarify whether it’s possible to share a prototype built in Make, and if so, what the correct process is?Thanks in advance for your help.

In Figma Site, I’m working on a carousel that previews various animations and I want them to be linked through LottieFiles, as the page is getting super heavy due to numerous assets.  I create the carousel frames with the lottiefiles embed in it and as soon as I make these frames a component, the LottieFiles element is thrown out of the component. Is there a way for the LottieFiles to be embedded in components?

Hi, I’m a Figma subscriber and have been using it to build decks in Figma Slides. I’m loving the experience, with a key caveat. I can’t get anything to show up in my Assets folder. Only the AI tools are available. Even default actions like ‘Build a table’ that Figma docs say should be available are not. Let alone basic icons and such to pull in. When I click ‘Assets’ there’s nothing.Can someone help? I have a presentation due in the coming days and need to figure this out. It says I need to ‘add’ a library but shouldn’t there be default actions and icons in here??How do i add a table??

Hi guys, how are you? I'm facing the following problem: yesterday I got an email saying that my seat request was declined (even though I've been able to access the team as a guest for 5 months now) and after it all my drafts and the team access were gone. Today my company managed to put me back on the team (still as a guest) but my drafts are still gone. I've found a link to one of my old files but I had to request access (???) and no one has managed to allow it (in fact no one even got the request). So what's going on? Did I lose my drafts forever or not? Is this a bug or we're just not looking at the right place? Chat with Fig says the missing drafts should be on Admin > Content > Unassigned drafts but the admins haven't found it yet. Help me get my files back, pleaseeeeeeeeee.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to showcase my prototype in a presentation adding screen recording of the app. Unfortunatly it doesn't work because it's lagging. I tried also changing fps on After Effect, but it doesn't work.  Do you have any advice ?
