Hi everyone,I permanently deleted some files in Figma trash, but I also want to make sure that these files are deleted from the Figma server.I don’t know if permanently deleted files in trash means that these files are also deleted from the server? Or the files are still stored on the server?I’ve attempted to contact Figma team by submit a support request as ticket(#2095775) through AI support chat. But it’s been a week, I haven’t received any reply email. Is there a better way to contact related team to solve my request?

Hi there!We have a large multibrand system with 17 brands which i’ve inherited. Each brand has 2 primitive collections (standard + colours), and then the semantic collection which houses each brand as a mode.There was no planning for inverse/knockout variants of components, so those needing an on-dark or a flexible background colour (and corresponding text colours) which of course we now need for some brands.In the case of our footer, i had created knockout tokens to sit in the existing eg: font/colour/interactive/text button group and then created a new variant of the footer to map them too and added a boolean switch between the default and inverse themes. But is there another way (without refactoring all of our tokens)

I’m currently going through the submission process for a plugin I developed, which I plan to sell as a paid plugin.I would like to enter the price, but the price field is grayed out and I’m unable to enter an amount. I can select the payment type, however.I read the official documentation and understand that I need to activate a Stripe account. However, the documentation says:“After you’ve been approved to sell on Community, you must activate your Stripe account before you can publish paid resources. You will receive an email inviting you to activate your Stripe account. A banner will also display on the Figma Community with the same prompt.”Does this mean that I should submit the plugin without entering a price by clicking the Publish button?I’m concerned that if I publish it without setting a price, the plugin might be submitted or published as a free plugin.Will the plugin still be submitted as a paid plugin even if I don’t enter the price at this stage, with the price being set aft

Hi figma, I'm new to figma and I heard you guys made a plan for students. After knowing that, I immediately registered to get the plan on August 27, 2026. But I still haven't heard from you. The status says it only takes a few minutes / 20 minutes if busy, but I've been waiting for a few days and haven't heard anything at all. Can you guys help me?  

I’m curious about how other designers handle font variations in Figma. Do you usually use variable fonts, or do you prefer separate font weights and styles?It would be great to have more flexible options for managing font variations directly in Figma, especially when working on responsive websites and UI designs.

I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. i am creating an experience where a client can add a product through the use of a modal that has numerous multi-selects and needs to be able to expand in height depending on what the client selects. with that being said this is how i have the interaction wired. if i add a the “background” to the overlay, the modal locks and you can not even scroll up to see the modal information. i have also selected “reset scroll” and when clicked it never rests to the manual positioning. is this a limitation or and error on my end. the odd thing is if i deselect the “add background” i can scroll up but the page does not auto rest the scroll on click….any help on this would be amazing

I’m trying to set an animation to play only once instead of looping. I can do this in the Motion playback by using the “Play once” toggle button and it looks good there, however when I go into Preview mode it keeps looping. I’ve also tried adding several seconds of dead time to my animation in the hopes that the user wouldn’t see the loop, but that doesn’t seem to change the loop time. Has anyone encountered this, or know of a fix?

I’ve connected a custom MCP server connector and the Connect goes through, manage shows correct list of tools and I can set whether each needs permission to use or not. But when I try to use the connector, I get back that Figma fails to load any tools. I’ve used the same server with Claude and Codex and works there. Any ideas what could be the problem? Is there any special steps to add the connecter to session (I’ve used the +-button). Here’s what Figma AI says about the connector.The OINO.cloud server has no listed resources. MCP servers expose tools separately from resources — I can only list resources via my available tools, not enumerate the tool definitions directly.PS. talking about the browser-Figma.

I recently moved my design file into a Team workspace, but I noticed that the AI agent beta button has completely disappeared from my toolbar in Figma Design.Are there specific limitations for Education teams regarding the AI agent beta, or am I just missing something in the settings?Thank you so much for your help! Hi everyone, I’m running into a strange issue with Figma Variables and component instances, and I’d really appreciate some help understanding whether this is expected behavior or a bug.I have a component called Title with a text property that is connected to a Boolean variable called uppercase. The variable controls whether the text is displayed in uppercase or normal case. I then publish this component as part of a design system.The problem happens when I update the variable/mode in the design system and republish it.For example:I create a Title component and connect its uppercase property to a variable. I use this component in another design and customize the text values for each instance. I update the variable mode in the design system, for example from uppercase = true to uppercase = false, and publish the update. Hello,I am a user of the Figma Enterprise version.To use the Code Connect feature, I created a Figma project, converted it into a library, and published it. However, when I clicked the 'Connect to components code' button to link the components to code, I discovered that a GitHub account belonging to another user was already connected.I understand that in an Enterprise environment, the integration between Figma and a GitHub account can be configured at a team or organizational level by an administrator. I would like to know if the current issue is caused by such a centralized setting or if there is another reason.Could you please let me know if there is a way to change the connection to my intended GitHub account or to disconnect the existing one and set up a new connection?Thank you.

I’m trying to connect a custom MCP client directly to the Figma Remote MCP Server:https://mcp.figma.com/mcpI understand that Figma’s documentation currently says only clients listed in the MCP Catalog can connect.Could someone from Figma confirm:Is there currently a supported process for a custom MCP client to connect to the Remote MCP Server? If so, is any registration, approval, or specific Figma plan required? Hey guys, I’m not even sure how to look this question up here. So apologies if it’s repeated.I recently started Figma, but I still use Photoshop as I’m more fluent at it, and slowly transferring my workflow (what can be transferrable) to figma.And one of those projects is using this shape in different contexts and sizes. Is there a way to make this on figma so i don’t have to manually grab each square and resize the lines every time?
