I've noticed Slots keeps swapping out components when a library update occurs. I made sure there were no changes to the master components that is embed within the slot composition. As well as no changes made to the master composition where the embedded components sit within the Slot sections of the composition Is this a bug?

Hi,I am trying to reorder collections so I don’t see the primitives I never use directly each time I want to map a variable.Is there a way currently to reorder them? From what I see, this was once an option has been removed 

Hi, i have been facing this problem from my PC but not on any of my laptops, i have exported the same image on laptop and the results is fine. Here’s my problem: whenever i exported a vector, a thin inversed line appear in the middle of the vector line as if it has an outline color, notice the “l” and “p” on the title has a weird line showing, this also happen to a smaller size, whether its a font or vector. Also take a look at the bottom side of the card, small inversed line appear in a dashed manner.everything is set on integer value as wellDoes anyboy know how to fix this?

Is it possible to use the File System API in Figma Plugins?For example running window.showDirectoryPicker() in the console works, but trying to run it in a plugin returns undefined, likely because it's in an iFrame.I was checking the manifest settings to see if it’s possible to add permissions at that stage, but it doesn’t look like there are any relevant options.Ability to use the File System API would be very useful for plugins that need to export documents to local disk at multiple points in time without requiring the user to select the same folder over and over again, and without the need for a sidecar desktop app to manage local files.

I recently released an updated version of my Community file (an icon pack). Shortly after, I saw in notifications that a user called "Figma Moderation" duplicated the file. I haven't received any official communication from Figma and there shouldn't be anything wrong with the file or my account. I am pretty sure that it's just somebody named "Figma Moderation" but can't find the exact user profile. Can somebody confirm that there's nothing wrong going on?

Fill is set, and very strangely appears partially if you round the corners of the shape. I’m at a bit of a loss on this one.

I like to keep variable groups in alphabetical order. When I drag and drop a group to reorder, it works about 20% of the time. The other 80% of the time it either drops the group into another group, or just ungroups the group entirely.Am I missing something or is this interface just broken?

I am working with Figma prototype for HMI Benchmarking. Having clicked images from the vehicle and worked with Spider Web on Figma.One image - one frame connected to the next one where the change happens when user interacts, either with central display or center console, or the steering wheel switches.I make 3 images taken, HUD - Driver cluster - Central display if the change is shown on all three in one single frame and connect it. Now, I want to show the three displays separate ~ make the entire images interactive. Click on a component on one image - this happens on central display, do that and that happens on HUD. But all shown in their respective screens.How can this be done?

Hi all, I am a bit of a new user in Figma and was experimenting with Figma Make, creating a prototype of a webpage. Somehow, I don’t even know how I did this but I created a kit, and it seems to have overwritten or erased all my content and version histories of the Make document. You can see in the screenshots how the document looks in the home-page, and what I actually see when I open the file now. I can’t see any version history, etc. I don’t know what happened, but is the Figma Make document and all the versions I had done gone for good?

Hello all! The admin of our company Figma account left the business and now we are unable to give the new designer the necessary permissions to edit the Figma docs. I first reached out to Figma on 2 September to try and resolve this, but still haven’t heard back. I submitted another request two days ago (8 September) but also still have not heard back. This is a major blocker for us and I’m unsure what to do as our internal IT team was also unable to access the account. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there somewhere I can email that will expedite things? Should I contact sales as I’m likely to get a quicker response? I’ve created over 100 artboards in Figma and want to create a PDF from them. After exporting the file, I found that it’s quite large in size. How can I effectively reduce the file size? Compressing the PDF with online tool (ilovepdf) only seems to decrease the size by about a third, and it’s still around 10MB. I can’t export it as an image also. Any help and explanation why it’s so heavy will be appreciate!

Hello! I am somewhat new designing stuff in Figma, and I have an issue with some animations.I animated a velocimeter in the Motion section to play just when clicking on it, but every time I open an overlay on the same page it triggers the animation to start all over again. I am experiencing a bug with an icon placeholder component that uses 5 different size variants.The issue starts in the Assets panel, where the component thumbnail already appears flipped/inverted. When I drag the component onto the canvas and use the Instance Swap property to select a designated Preferred Value, the nested icon automatically flips or rotates incorrectly.It seems like Figma is not preserving the true orientation during the instance swap across variant sizes.

Hi everyone, does anyone know how Figma handles AI-content provenance when generating and exporting images? For example, Nano Banana uses SynthID, while other models may use C2PA metadata or Content Credentials. However, I can’t find any Figma documentation explaining:Whether these provenance signals are preserved when an image is exported from Figma, Whether Figma adds its own machine-readable marking, Which standard Figma uses to comply with Article 50(2) of the EU AI ActHas Figma published anything about this, or has anyone tested exports from the different models available in Figma? I couldn't find anything so far?

Hi! Apparently I pressed some keyboard shortcut and the names of my frames became very small. They are like this in all files, nothing helps to bring everything back.Please help me fix this  

My Figma updated from the old Edit Content panel to the new Bulk Edit view. When opening Bulk Edit, every single layer appears, whether it’s editable or not. The non-editable fields can’t be interacted with, while the editable ones can.Right now, I have to horizontally scroll through all fields just to find the editable ones.I know you can manually filter and unselect fields in Bulk Edit, but is there a way to configure this at the master template level so those settings apply to anyone who uses the file in the future?
