It’s is showing black screen without any error message. I tried to uninstall and clear all the files in file manager and reinstalled it again but still it's not opening I tried All the method listed below : 1. Clear Figma cache2. Run Figma with disabled GPU acceleration3. Update your graphics drivers4. Reset/Reinstall with full cleanup Please Help me in this !!! 

Hi, we were setting up our color variables for light and dark mode and noticed that the preview of the colors in dark mode do not represent the actual value behind it. Anyone has any idea why this happens and how to fix it?  A little backstory, we have set up core, base and applied tokens in the variables window. The base level is where we set up theming. However, in our applied level we sometimes overwrite a color for a specific token in dark mode. However, when we do this, the preview seems to show the colors as presented in light mode instead of dark mode. When we actually apply the token, it all works properly, it is just the preview in the variables window that shows the wrong color.

 I ran into a font issue while working with MCP use_figma and wanted to share it here. I have a font installed on my system (Pretendard) that works perfectly fine in the Figma UI — it shows up as "Installed by you" in the font picker. However, it's completely invisible to the Plugin API when running through MCP use_figma. listAvailableFontsAsync() returns around 7,600 fonts, but none of them are locally installed ones. It seems to only return Google Fonts.loadFontAsync() also fails, and trying to appendChild a component instance that contains text using the font throws a font load error — even into a non-auto-layout frame. Steps to Reproduce 1. I am unable to locate a similar topic, but I have a client that is using a base component that changes color on hover. I have created the hover using variables for colors. The client will be changing the hover state color for each of the 100+ sites they are using.How can I map the hover color so it is a quick switch from one file to another without affecting the original component? I've been setting up a webhook integration to monitor file changes, and I ran into some confusing behavior with the FILE_UPDATED event. I'm sharing my findings here in case it helps someone else, and to confirm if this is the intended behavior.My Setup:Plan: Professional Plan Authentication: Personal Access Token Scopes: My token has webhooks:write, file_content:read, and file_comments:read permissions. Integration Tool: I'm using n8n (a workflow automation tool) which receives the webhook events. My n8n instance has a public URL and is reachable by Figma. Webhook Event: FILE_UPDATED

How is everyone handling adding Liquid Glass and M3 to their design systems and variables?We have collections for our primitives and then semantic collections which have our 4 business lanes as modes, including light and dark for each. Currently 6 total modes. Now we need to add in Liquid Glass as well as Material 3 and those will also need light/dark mode.

I’m trying to map a Figma Site to the subdomain cook.tastemade.com. The DNS records are properly configured, but I get the below Error 1000 when trying to access the site. The custom domain status says “Awaiting certificates” in Figma even though it has been several days. 

Hi, How do I paste the blue frame in between About and How? The entire frame A is using auto-layout. Using ctrl+C and ctrl+V. Is it possible? I know I can use mouse click and drag in then it will sit perfectly in between. But what if I wanted to use keyboard keys?If i click on About and paste, blue frame will be nested inside About frame which is what I don’t want.Another way is to select any frame, hit Shift+Enter to go to parent frame A, However this will make the blue frame pasted at the end of frame A, imagine i have 10 rows, I’ll need to press arrow key up until it’s positioned on the 3rd row. Thanks!

 hello, is there anyway i can “bring to front” a certain part of the image? i want to put the cup in front if its possible 

I am getting a message that says “Library assets may need to be republished for modename mode to show.” There is also a little icon next to the mode name in all of my files when selecting a palette mode. We use a single design system file that has all of our variables and the other palettes don’t seem to have the same problem. The error message is not very helpful and I have cleaned up all of the files and resolved everything I can find but this message never goes away. Can anyone help me understand what is going on? I have included a couple of images as an example of what I am seeing.

Hello, We are planning to transfer a project from one company to another. The previous company that has been working on this project is planning to deactivate the account that holds admin privileges for the organization containing the project. They also mentioned that the domain associated with the admin account will be deactivated. I think that the organization itself needs to be transferred as-is in order to preserve existing comments and maintain library connections. Although we have already changed the owner of the projects within the organization to the new party taking over, we have not been able to change the admin of the organization itself.  If the domain of the admin account is deactivated, will the projects within that organization also be deleted? If the organization is deactivated, is there any way to transfer or change the admin of that organization?

I am trying to build my new cards using slots. I can get the card working nicely, then when I duplicate it goes wrong and I can’t fix it. Any ideas?

Family IT department (wife is a designer) here for a question…. So she built a portfolio website using figma website design tool and published it. so far, its a great WYSIWYG tool.Now, she added a `div` element, and inside it, placed a video file.The video file is vertically longer than the div element. This causes the video controls to be hidden when the video is vertically centered, and only the play button is hidden.When she aligns the bottom of the video frame to the bottom of the div element, the video controls are showing, but the play button is hidden at the upper part.Also, full screen doesn’t work well on mobile, only when rotating the phone horizontally.I’ll get some screenshots, but until then, wanted to get some info/ideas from the community.TY!

My 2nd plugin is in review for a week.How long does it take a Figma plugin to get approved?

The Figma Slides button to create a new slide-deck is disabled. A tooltip says, it is disabled on organisation level. As organisation admin, I cannot find a setting in the admin console to enable it. Can someone please point me to the correct location?
