It made me curious about what others think works best in author website development and what features really matter. Have you worked with any author website designers who created clean, useful, and reader-friendly sites? I’d really appreciate honest suggestions or experiences on choosing the right design approach.

We manage several email templates for monthly campaigns, each built with a set number of components. While not every email uses every component, we only remove existing sections as needed—we don’t add new ones.Can Buzz support this kind of workflow? Hello Figma Support,I designed a multi-page article/publication in Figma Make, and I am trying to export it as either a PNG or PDF.I am having trouble finding clear export options in either Figma Make or Figma Design, and I am not sure whether direct PNG/PDF export is supported from Figma Make.Can you please confirm:Is it possible to export a Figma Make design directly as a PNG or PDF? If not, what is the correct workflow for moving a Figma Make design into Figma Design for export? Hi all,My team is trying to connect Figma and GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent (not GitHub's local VSCode coding agent). Our end goal is enabling the cloud coding agent to access Figma MCP tools like  “get_code”/”get_design_context”. Since there's no public plans yet on any direct connection between the two, I have questions about potential alternatives:Are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma MCP to support a PAT or API based authorization? This would be incredibly useful for apps that don't use Oauth like GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent. Or, are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma's Rest API's to access equivalents of the MCP tools like `get_design_context`?So far, we've built our own intermediary (https://github.com/bitovi/ai-coding-agent) that handles the OAuth between Figma's MCP & GitHub's Cloud C

We have these two variations to support hover interactions. When the text is changed while using this component upon changing to the hover variant the underline text styling is not getting applied. Also, Figma stopped supporting changing the text styling on the linked text labels. This has become very painful for us in alot of our components text properties were linked to keep it the same across various variants but their styling were changing which now can’t happen.Is this a bug..? 

We wanted get some insights from Figma from Activity logs. We wanted to check if there is a possibility to get demo instance with Admin access to get Activity Logs.

I submitted my plugin for review on March 8th, and as of today (March 27th) I still haven't received any feedback from the Figma team. No approval, rejection, or requests for changes.That's over 20 days of waiting, while the submission form indicated a turnaround of 5-10 business days.Could anyone share how long the review process is currently taking? Is this wait time normal right now, or should I follow up somewhere specific?

 I submitted my Figma plugin for review a little over 2 weeks ago, and it's still in the "In Review" state without any updates so far.I’ve seen some mentions that reviews can take longer recently due to backlog, but I wanted to check with others here: Is 2–3+ weeks currently considered normal? How long did your plugin approval take recently? Did anyone experience delays longer than this? Hello! I just tried the FREE version today, and spent over 30 minutes with Chat Support to no avail, with trying to help me figure out why I’m unable to save my image. The only options were Make, Web Page, or HTML. Finally ended submitting a Bug Report, after she asked me to upload an image that was already uploaded. I’m a content creator, and most recently built a website, and plan to build more, but I cannot afford to have my time wasted. I was considering upgrading, if I liked it, but so far, I’m not impressed.

We are currently experiencing a critical issue accessing our Figma team account. The login email address is hosted on servers inside Iran, and due to ongoing internet disruptions, Figma is unable to deliver the verification/login codes to this email address.As a result:We cannot log in to our account We are unable to renew our premium subscription We currently have no access to our design filesThis issue is severely impacting our work.Is it possible to transferring account access and team admin ownership to another member of our team who previously had editor-level access.

HiI have a pretty large design file. In that file I have a substantial amount of variables. They all link (aliased) to variables in another file where my primitives are placed.What I would like to achieve is to be able to copy my Design file and copy my Primitives file. I Then need the variable collection in my COPY-Design file to be relinked to my new primitive file called COPY-Primitives.I know how to use plugins for importing collections and relinking variables on components that way. But I cannot seem to find a way or a plugin where I can relink my entire variable collection to a copy of my primitives. At least not automatically. Any way I can accomplish relinking my variable collection to my new copy of my primitives without going through plus severeal hundred variables manually?Thanks.

I'm relatively new to Figma, and I look for the best way to do this: A button has states like checked/unchecked (an option in a filtering bar of a web shop or "add to favorites" button that changes from only stroke to a filled shape and back) and also has a hover effect that changes its shade, and when you switch its state (by clicking/pressing it), hover remains there until you move away the cursor, seamlessly, without that blink/flicker when it turns into the default version of new state and only then to a hovered one.So the full cycle (of pressing it twice) is "1 → 1 hover → 2 hover → 2 → 2 hover → 1 hover → 1".But it's on PCs/laptops. On phones/tablets, the hover is shown while you touch the button, and after removing your finger, it goes straight to a new state without hover.Full cycle: "1 → 1 hover → 2 → 2 hover → 1". I want it to take as few components as possible. Hey everyone, I’m struggling with instance swapping for icons. In my icon library, I have 2–3 color variations and 2–3 size variations for the same icon, and it’s a pretty large library. I’ve already corrected the naming and layers according to best practices and expected the swap to work, but the icon button color still doesn’t stay preserved when I change variations. Has anyone faced this issue before? Any ideas on how to solve it?Also, I’d really appreciate if someone could share an example of how to structure naming conventions when managing multiple icon sizes and color variations. Thanks in advance!

If I change the icon in a button and then change the state of a button from default to hover, the icon color does NOT change. Problem: When I apply the Underline decoration formatting to text that includes a superscripted ‘registered trademark’ symbol (this is a non negotiable inclusion), the underline hugs the baseline of the superscript part, so visually the line breaks between the non-superscripted characters. Font being used is Arial for accessibility reasons so it cannot be changed.I have seen other users posting this issue as far back as 2024 and there has clearly been no fix other than the suggestion to change fonts which is not possible. Hi, we were setting up our color variables for light and dark mode and noticed that the preview of the colors in dark mode do not represent the actual value behind it. Anyone has any idea why this happens and how to fix it?  A little backstory, we have set up core, base and applied tokens in the variables window. The base level is where we set up theming. However, in our applied level we sometimes overwrite a color for a specific token in dark mode. However, when we do this, the preview seems to show the colors as presented in light mode instead of dark mode. When we actually apply the token, it all works properly, it is just the preview in the variables window that shows the wrong color.
