Hi, We are using Figma for Jira on Jira Cloud.We plan to use Jira Cloud in a network-segmented environment.Please provide the list of firewall rules (domains/IPs) that need to be allowed so that the plugin can function properly.

I submitted a Figma plugin four days ago, but it’s still under review — normally it gets approved within one business day. Is anyone else seeing delays lately? I noticed there haven’t been any new plugins published in the past week. Thanks!

Tonight after updating the desktop app to the latest version Figma Desktop App version 125.10.5 (happens in the beta and web browser as well) on macOS Tahoe when I create a variable collection and then subsequently create another one I seem to get into a weird state. When I create the first variable it creates the collection.If I create another collection the collection name becomes editable. So I name it.What happens though is that it renames the first collection I created instead of the new collection (second collection).The collection droplist updates to show there are two collections.When I click the droplist is shows the collection I gave a name to (the first collection) and “Collection 2”.  Collection 2 is empty.The named collection has the variable that is required in order to make a collection. So that is all weird and not right. I’m trying to build a Figma plugin to swap text styles from a library to another. Old styles and new styles have 1:1 mapping. My plugin knows all the mapping and was able to identify all the old styles in a file, but couldn’t swap with the new styles from another library. Cursor told me it’s because:“Figma’s public Plugin API currently only exposes methods to read “local” resources—things that already exist inside the file the plugin is running in. For text styles, the only available getter is figma.getLocalTextStyles(), which returns styles that are part of the document itself.”Is this true? Has anyone built anything that can apply text styles from another library?

During Figma Schema 2025 they announced upcoming support for extended variable collections and native variable export/import conforming with the DTCG token specification.It was announced during this session: Here is a screenshot of what they were proposing:An update to the app dropped a few days ago with extended collections but I cannot find how to export variables to JSON (without using a plugin).I don’t have the “Export modes” option in my dropdown menu, even with our Enterprise account.Has anyone got that feature and how do you do it?

Hello! I’m trying to create a multi brand system that shares the same primitive tokens, but each brand has a different number and naming convention for themes (modes).For example:Brand 1 has:Light Dark LavenderBrand 2 has:Light DarkBrand 3 has: Light Dark BrownI currently have a solution but it unfortunately doesn't scale well. At the moment all of my brands have to share the same number and name of modes. Even if they don’t exist for certain brands.I thought this would be achievable with the new extended collections update, but unless I’m missing something, I can’t get it to work. Has anyone tackled a similar challenge and what was your outcome?

Hi everyone :-)I’m trying to prototype a menu that stays fixed in the bottom-left corner while scrolling, but stops (or “sticks”) right before reaching the footer so it doesn’t overlap.In real code this would be a simple position: sticky with a stopping boundary, but I can’t find a clean way to reproduce this behavior in Figma.What’s the best way in Figma to simulate a sticky element that stops before overlapping another element (like a footer)?Any tips, alternative workflows, or plugins that could help?Thanks in advance xx

The Figma Universe is a feature rich universe with many possibilities and does only work with architecture mindset. So for UX Designers for example, but they are complaining a lot anyway… There are so many learning curves and concepts which do not show any usability, obvious logic or intuitive workflow, if you do not take some lessons. I tried to find a summary, video or help documentation, which are there but have lose ends… So the figma dschungel is good for specialised Architects, but there are thousands of alternatives meanwhile, most of them are just small AI Apps which have solutions to certain parts of a workflow, like wireframing ect… The more easy way is Canva and the Affinity Suite, which is for free now...

i’m developing a plugin to help product manager and developer to share information with figma.the information will bind to figma node. and the information maybe  some rich text content.for user experience we need to store the information temporay in user’s local machine. but figma.clientStore has the limitation of 5MB peer plugin. so, my question is how can i store data more than 5MB  I tried indexeddb but i got err looks like figma plugin can not use it.

Hi,Our team has been creating multiple pages using Figma Make. However, we realized that all the pages are in separate files, and we can’t figure out how to connect them with Prototype mode.We want to: Combine several Make pages (Landing, Dashboard, Courses, etc.) into one Design file. Add Prototype links between the frames (e.g., from the Landing page to the Dashboard). Is there a way to convert or duplicate Make files into regular Figma Design files so that we can use the Prototype feature?
