as title, I’m trying to use my published library in a Figma Make project, but the export for Figma Make dialog does not pop up. Also when I click Import From Figma in Make, it does nothing. Tried closing the app and reopen but still the same. I’m on a pro education plan. Is this feature available for me? thank you

Hello everyone, sadly I couldn’t really find any solutions through Google, so I’m trying my luck here. I’m fairly new to prototyping with Figma but managed to create a hover-effect quite easily:The hover should add a gradient and a arrow. So far, so basic. Now, when testing out the prototype and hovering over my button, the smart objects in which all the buttons are positioned as part of the sites navigation component will change in width. I think I understand what’s happening in theory, the button is now getting ever so slightly bigger because of the arrow being added. This fact combined with the auto-layout just makes everything wider. I just don’t know how to solve it. Making the original button wider is not really possible because that would be a fixed value. I need the button to be flexible in width.I have already made a recording of the issue but I’m unsure on how to upload or attach the video. Is there a work-around I’m not seeing? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hi, How do I paste the blue frame in between About and How? The entire frame A is using auto-layout. Using ctrl+C and ctrl+V. Is it possible? I know I can use mouse click and drag in then it will sit perfectly in between. But what if I wanted to use keyboard keys?If i click on About and paste, blue frame will be nested inside About frame which is what I don’t want.Another way is to select any frame, hit Shift+Enter to go to parent frame A, However this will make the blue frame pasted at the end of frame A, imagine i have 10 rows, I’ll need to press arrow key up until it’s positioned on the 3rd row. Thanks!  

Hey all I am trying to enhance my code connect setup with code connect UI but I am currently facing some issues.I cannot connect my github repo to the design file system. Following the instructions, it redirects me to only create a new repo while I want to connect to an existing one I have connected most of my components through Code connect CLI and API, but I want to add some more context and MCP instructions via the UI but there is no option for this 

In my project, I use two separate Figma files—one for design and another for reusable components. These files are connected through a shared library. Occasionally, when I make edits to complex components, publish the changes, and then update the library in the design file, some components fail to update correctly. This usually happens when the component is nested inside another frame or auto layout.!--startfragment>I initially thought that might be the cause, but the strange part is that sometimes the update works perfectly. If anyone has experienced this issue or knows how to resolve it, I’d really appreciate your insights.!--endfragment>

Chrome version 142 will enable the Local Network Access policy, aka LNA (https://developer.chrome.com/blog/local-network-access). This will prevent plugins published within your organization from working because LNA requests within iframes will be restricted.The LNA policy will take effect on October 28, 2025. To experience the LNA policy: In Chrome, input chrome://flags/#local-network-access-check and enable the flag.  Is there any way to solve this problem?----Maybe this is a way to slove it, but plugin iframe is controlled by Figma.Google LNA Adoption Guide 

I'm experiencing a problem with my published design system in Figma. Although the system file containing components and variables has been successfully published and linked to other files, the color variables aren't showing up correctly in the list or grid views. I've already tried re-publishing the file, re-linking the library, checking for naming conflicts, confirming styles are properly defined and published, and clearing the Figma cache. Despite these efforts, the issue persists, which undermines the purpose of a centralized design system. Has anyone encountered this before or found a reliable workaround?Thanks  

Figma just hit me with surprise charges and won't refund - anyone else?Ugh, I'm so frustrated right now. Figma basically scammed me out of $33.87 and their support is being useless about it.What went down: We're a tiny team, only need 2 seats. But somehow our June bill had these random "new seat costs" for $33.87 that I never asked for. Like... what?The breakdown:2 Full seats (what we actually use): $40 ✓ Mystery charges: $33.87 ❌Figma's excuse: "Oh you approved it!" - umm no I didn't? When?? Where's the proof?Apparently when you change seat types, they hit you with "prorated charges" on your NEXT bill. Who tf knows what that even means? Hello, I have a file with a lot of images and some of them show up normally, but there is a big part of them which I can’t visualize anymore. They are just empty frames which I can select, but the content can not be seen. It looks like a lot of just not loaded filled frames. Why is it and how can I solve it, get back the pictures.

When you’re using Figma to design for many projects or with multiple teams, how do you keep your components (buttons, icons, cards, etc.) organized so everyone can find and use them easily?

I’ve been working with the Figma app’s MCP Service in Copilot Agent mode, but I have the occasional timeout after 30+ seconds even though it doesn’t seem like Figma should be blocked by anything.  Has anyone seen the same and figured out what’s causing it? Alternately, is it possible to see logging from the MCP server process? Thanks.

i have a button setup that has an animation connected to the arrow, but when i add the overlay to the button it breaks the overlay.what do i do :(this is what it is supposed to do

I saw another post Whyte font is missing from Slides template and it’s solved literally 15 hours ago. But the issue still exist in this design kit where this font family is used as a Text Display styling but not available to most users.I assume it’s a similar problem to that post so I reported it as a bug. I want to search for sections that I have titled. I usually keep a flow in a named section, and when I go to search for that text, figma looks through all existing text. This makes finding something in the file super frustrating. Does anyone have advice? Maybe a way they organize stuff to make everything super searchable?

I’d really appreciate some help here, can’t get mobile prototyping to work in the way I’d expect. I am prototyping an app with a bottom anchored toolbar. As such, “Fit” type settings are critical to avoid users from missing these buttons. However, any combination of settings I try in prototyping (Fit, fill, presentation, different preset phone frames) do not actually fit my prototype within phones of varying sizes. Here’s an image of what I’d expect would happen. I’d expect a fixed ratio and I’d get black bars on the sides. This is pretty much how desktop prototypes show - they work on any screen size because the frame is fixed and fits to any window size, with black bars added as needed. Any help is really appreciated here. I don’t get how mobile prototypes could not support “Fit” in the way I’m describing, as that’d make testing anything with bottom-anchored toolbars/buttons much more unreliable based on phone size.
