I can’t see the interface. I tried refreshing, a private window, etc. MacBook Pro, Safari Version 26.0.1 (21622.1.22.11.15) 

There is a bug on the contrast checker and I'll try to describe the bug here with some visuals.Imagine you have a fixed frame with a list of items that overflows that fixed frame, and those list items are for example a rectangular frame with a text inside it. The hierarchy would look like this:The first two items correctly show the white foreground color within the contrast checker and also the correct background color (red)but on the third item only the foreground color (white text) is correctly shown, the background color is shown as my canvas background color (303030), which is technically a background, but the wrong one. It should still be the red background of the frame

I’m reaching out because an important file has suddenly disappeared from my account. I’m the owner of the file, but when I click on its link, I get the following message:“This design file may be deleted, moved or made unavailable. Try reaching out to the file owner.”The problem is that I am the owner of this file, and it doesn’t appear anywhere. Not in “Drafts to Move”, not in “Trash”, and not in any of my team projects. I’ve also confirmed that I’m logged into the correct account.This file is extremely important for my work, and I need to recover it urgently. I have deactivated my domain with address assigned to my Figma account account and I haven't changed it to a new one. Now I need to assign a new email so I can access my Figma account. How can I do that? I am not longer able to access my old domain. I paid for upgraded version of Figma and I have bank account receipts to prove I am the owner.Can you help me please?

After the recovery, one of my admins [redacted] reported that some of their draft files are missing. These files are not visible in their Drafts or in the Trash.Details: I am the team owner. I’m working on a presentation that contains several prototypes. I’ve set specific widths and heights for the prototypes so that I can scroll inside them.However, when I click on a prototype in the editor, the specified height is randomly removed, and the prototype expands to its full height. This happens even if the aspect ratio is locked.I’ve tried closing and reopening the files, but the bug persists

I am experiencing an issue with verifying my student account on Figma. Unfortunately, I have reached the verification attempt limit, and I am unable to proceed further.I contacted education@figma.com regarding this matter 7 days ago, but I have not received any response. Problem description:Hi Figma team,Since the last update, I can no longer see the distance between elements when I select one and hold down the Option key (on Mac) while hovering over another. I’ve tried everything suggested:Using Option or Alt + hover over another element. Switching from Draw to Design mode in the bottom right of the interface. Restarting Figma, opening new files, updating the app, clearing the cache, trying the web version, and even disabling plugins.Nothing has worked and the problem persists, even though I used to see the measurements with no problem before.I would really appreciate some help, since this tool is essential in my workflow and it’s causing me a lot of issues.Thank you!

When using annotations, there’s a recurring bug where some annotations are visible while others are not.The issue occurs when annotations are inside a Section. If I remove the Section, the annotations immediately appear.

Hi everyone, I’m running into some confusing behavior with Auto Layout sizing when using nested Hug and Fill settings, and I’d love some clarity on whether this is expected. Here’s the setup: I have a parent frame with its width set to 100 and its width sizing set to Hug. Inside it, there are three child nodes: two text nodes and one frame node. The two text nodes are set to Fill, and the frame node is set to Hug. Hi everyone,I recently noticed that Figma Sites now allows us to embed video directly into frames, as follow:  This looks like a really useful feature for adding richer content.However, I am running into a problem: The video displays and loops fine. But the sound does not play at all, no matter what settings I choose. I have tried enabling “Play Sound” and disabling “Mute,” but the video remains silent. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a workaround or a known limitation with Figma Sites’ video embed? Or could this be a bug in the current release?Would really appreciate if anyone from the community (or the Figma team) could clarify whether sound on video embeds is officially supported yet.Thanks in advance!

HiA few of my students keep receiving the message “an admin needs to update a seat so they can get access” (with a red exclamation mark next to it).I am currently using the free Edu plan, and at the moment there are about 38 Collab seats already taken. The students experiencing this issue have attempted verification, and their status is showing as Collab, but they are still unable to gain access.Could you please advise on the solution or next steps? Is this related to a seat limitation, or is there something else that needs to be updated on my end? What exactly? Thank you very much for your help! 

 Im currently a student at the University of Cincinnati in the DAAP program. One of my main issues with Figma at the moment is the verification of the education plan. I've been told to contact SheerID, but after numerous replies and sending support email tickets, I've also been ignored about resetting my verification. I desperately need Figma for the current assignments Im working on, and my college professors are giving me less and less time to get this issue resolved. Can you guys please do something to help me out, because every time I send in an image of a government-issued ID, like drivers license, it's not getting verified. Please help me out, I desperately need Figma or else im out of luck and losing grades.
