Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a strange and persistent rendering bug in Figma that I can't seem to fix.
Setup:
- Large project file with all master components on a dedicated separate page
- Instances are placed on other pages, no overrides applied
- No external libraries involved
The bug: Some component instances randomly display the wrong text – specifically the card headings show an old/incorrect label instead of what's defined in the master component. When I click on the affected instance, it temporary corrects itself and shows the right text. After a reload it sometimes comes back, sometimes on a different instance.
What I've already tried:
- Closing and reopening the file completely
- Verified the master component – the correct text is defined there, the instances just don't reflect it consistently
- No overrides applied anywhere
Additional issues in the same file:
- Chip component displaying incorrectly, also correcting on click
The pattern is always the same: wrong state on load, correct state after selecting the element. This has been going on for several days with no changes made to the file structure.
Has anyone experienced this? Could this be a recent Figma update causing rendering issues?
Thanks in advance.
