Report a Problem

We’re currently making our components responsive using variables. We’ve setup custom values for components, in this case our Checkbox. It should increase in size on smaller viewports. We’ve inserted icons inside the checkboxes which contains sizing variants  which are connected to the variables string to achieve the resizing. The resizing is working correctly, however the color breaks. I have checked all the layer nesting, naming, etc. Also re-factored the Icon naming and layering, but it still breaks.Please see the video.  

When I create an XLSX in excel with all of my images, when I go to upload them in the bulk uploader it completely reorders them when I have more than roughly 11-12 rows. See screenshot. It works fine for smaller runs of ~5-10 but when I create more the order changes when I upload it.  In screenshot the front column appears with the back images and vice versa after uploading.  

Went to my backup account today and found that it doesn't support AI features. Although updated to UI3. Can you please tell me what the problem is if both accounts are on free for now. Thank you very much in advance for the answer.

Just playing around with Figma sites on my mac and I noticed the the preview functionality tends to hang while it’s loading or it just loads a white screen. It’s pretty common occurance and reloading the project and restarting Figma doesn’t seem to fix the problem. My work around is that I found the Figma Site web app in the browser doesn’t seem to have this same caching issue. So at the moment I run Figma sites on the mac app to do all the design work but run the preview in the the browser app as it has no issues reloading the Site preview.Anyone else having similar issues running Figma Sites on the mac?

Simple Design System from Figma gives errors when attached as a component library to Figma Make Files. Hello! I’m currently at the Free plan, previously was subscribed to Professional.After giving edit access to people in Free project i was charged for full seats. This is violates my customer rights, because your software is literally says “Free”, then charging without asking my consent for this payment - by any law definition it is a fraud. Furthermore, i want my payment information (e.g card token) to be removed. 

My original postSome of my icons are displaying unexpected holes in circular areas where there shouldn't be any (see attached images). The issue seems to occur when strokes overlap and create negative space, possibly due to how the stroke is being rendered or interpreted.I'm aiming to keep everything within a single vector and maintain consistent stroke width throughout.Expected Behavior:Icons should render as solid shapes with no gaps or holes, as shown in the final image.Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I had an account that used an old email address and I worked on a number of really important projects in it. That email no longer exists and I cannot set up email forwarding for it, so I can’t reset my password or get access to those projects. I really need access to those projects for portfolio work, and am not sure how to recover the account. Is it possible to change the email associated with that account or somehow change the password? I am not sure how to proceed. 

Hello everyone,since yesterday, weird library updates have been showing up in almost all of my files. They show updates that supposedly have been published months ago (some up to 4 months). Those are libraries I use and update almost daily, so I’m confused that they offer updates from months ago now.When I click on “Update”, Figma quickly says “Successfully updated assets”, but nothing changes.When I click on an icon to see the side by side comparison, it loads forever.I tried to force another update from those libraries to see what happens. Hi! I have a problem with a file I created and edited just this week. The file was only accessible to me and it was created in my drafts, but now I don’t see this file anywhere in my workspace, I only see it in my recents and when I open the file, I get an error that “this is an unassigned draft”. Even when I click the “request access” button, I don’t receive this request by email, as if the file was created in someone else’s space. I might have exited a workspace as well, not sure, but there are several files affected and I am unable to identify owner as well. What can I do about this?

When sharing my Figma Slides presentation with clients, the hyperlinked text is not clickable on mobile. When clients try to tap the link, the presentation progresses to the next slide instead of opening the link in another tab like it does on desktop. It’s important to note that these clients do not have the Figma mobile app and will not be downloading it in the future, so this solution must apply to the mobile browser version of the Presentation links.Am I missing something or is this not possible? Please advise. 

It would help if you can lock obejcts on the page so they are not always in the way while formating - its always a send to back fight here

I have links to two of my drafts, but they seem to have been removed from my library. They cannot be accessed by the links either. I have opened a ticket 1417624 (it was autoclosed), links to the files can be found there. There may be more drafts that have disappeared from my library, but I do not have links for them.

I’m having an issue where tables fill color is different in the Figma Slides editor than it is in Presentation mode. See screenshots (first image editor, second is presentation mode): 

We are using monthly professional plan on Figma and there is a team named "xyz" inside which I work on my design mostly. So inside this team there are several other projects as well which are our products as well. So, inside some of this project there is published design system made in the separate project within the same team so the same design system is used in couple of projects.Now I have started to make another project which is completely new and I have not published any library there but when I am inside that new project and check the assets panel there appears the components of the design system used in other projects which I have not published in this file. How do I fix this? Please!  help

How to quickly locate the latest edited page after opening the project? Every time you open the project folder, the first file is always displayed. I hope to display the latest edited file.

I used to work for a company that provided me with a Figma account, but that's no longer the case. I have a free account I have been using, but I’ve reached my maximum number of pages and need to upgrade to continue. Unfortunately, when I try to upgrade my ‘team’ to the professional account it somehow brings in both my current gmail based account and the deprecated old account through my previous company. I have no idea how it even knows about that account, it’s not linked anywhere in my team, and I’m not signing in with it. For obvious reasons I don’t want to pay twice as much for a shut down account attached to an email address I can’t access, but since  this user doesnt actually exist on my team I can’t remove them. This screen certainly doesn’t give any UI for that. I tried contacting support, but since I’m on a free version I can’t (which is an enraging interaction). 

Hello Figma community,I'm a type designer and I've encountered a workflow issue that affects font development in Figma. When I reinstall an updated font file (for example, after adjusting spacing, adding new glyphs, or making other modifications), Figma doesn't automatically display the updated version in existing text layers.Current behavior: The font updates only become visible after clicking on each text box individually.Expected behavior: Font updates should be reflected immediately across all text layers using that font family.This creates an inefficient workflow during the iterative design process, as I need to manually interact with every text element to see the changes. For projects with multiple text layers, this becomes quite time-consuming.Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a workaround I'm missing, or could this be considered for a future update?Thanks for any insights or solutions

I have created a complex Picture (Frame) with several overlapping shadows, objects, text, background, water droplets, etc., but when I export it in all formats, it appears with black bars, and in the Preview, the file contains mixed pixels instead of my original image. However, when I open it in the online version, the preview displays the correct image, and there are no black bars when I export the file. Can you help me understand why this is happening?
