Need to reduce the seats in enterprise plan

We're reaching out regarding our Figma Organization subscription. We initially purchased 5 Organization seats for an annual subscription and paid approximately USD 3,300.

Since then, our team size has changed, and we've reduced our subscription from 5 seats to 3 seats. As the three additional seats are no longer required, we'd like to request your assistance in reviewing whether a refund or credit can be provided for the unused seats.

At the same time, we currently have an outstanding Figma AI invoice of USD 2,993.
we'd greatly appreciate it if the refund or credit for the three unused Organization seats could be applied toward this outstanding AI invoice instead of being processed separately.

We understand that annual subscriptions may have specific billing policies, but we'd be grateful if you could review our account and let us know whether an exception or billing adjustment is possible.

For security and privacy reasons, we're not able to look into billing or account-specific details here on the forum. I can see you've already got a support ticket open (#1995614). Someone from our team will follow up with you there shortly to take a closer look at your seat count and invoice.

In the meantime, a couple of things that might help while you wait:

  1. You can review your current seat count and billing details any time from the Admin tab → Billing section.
  2. For Organization plans, seat count is generally adjusted at your annual renewal and depending on how your plan was purchased, some changes may need to go through your account team or a new order form. This article on managing billing on the Organization and Enterprise plans has more detail.
