Can you please do something about the broken dashed strokes? I made nice dashed stroke in Figma make but when I export it in my design, it’s broken. And it’s always like this - when I create one directly in design or import an svg stroke… It’s really annoying :(

Figma make:

Exported in design:

Hi @Paupaupau, thanks for reaching out!

I completely understand the frustration here. Please know that dashed strokes can render differently in SVG export than they do in the editor, particularly when the stroke isn't center-aligned; the export doesn't always preserve the exact dash pattern. This is a known limitation our engineering team is aware of. A couple of things that may help us pin down your specific case:

  1. What alignment is your stroke set to: center, inside, or outside?
  2. When you say "export," do you mean exporting as SVG/PNG from the design file, or is this specifically about Figma Make → Design handoff?

In the meantime, a temporary solution that often fixes this: select the stroke and use Boolean Union (or Outline Stroke) to flatten it into its own shape before exporting. That will lock in the dash pattern exactly as you see it, since it's no longer relying on stroke properties at export time.
