Report a Problem

Dear Figma,I’m currently facing an issue with Figma access and need help urgently. My lecturer shared a Figma file, but I can’t edit it because Figma requires me to verify my student status. I tried to complete the verification process, but it keeps showing this error message:“Verification limit exceeded.”Because of this, I’m unable to access the file properly and continue my work.I’ve already: Tried verifying again Logged out and logged back in Checked that my student email is correct Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know how to fix this issue quickly? Is there another way my lecturer can grant edit access without student verification?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I request to close an unpaid invoice as we no longer are using the plan for the invoice period. I was only hours late to downgrade my plan, it still shows that I need to pay for This month that is April but I don’t wish to as I have not used Figma for this month at all and won’t use it further. I have cancelled the subscription and also removed any seat assignments for the plan. No credits use or other usage of the plan have been done for this period of the invoice. Please help out for this issue by closing or voiding our invoice.Could a Figma Support Specialist please help with this issue and guide what to do here?Thankyou

Hey team,This issue started last week. At first, it only happened when I tried to add a comment (whether typing or pasting text), and I assumed it would resolve itself. However, yesterday it also started happening when I tried to upload images, and now it’s affecting various actions randomly. This is happening on the Windows app, and it occurs across all documents (they open fine on desktop, but the issue persists in the app).I’ve already tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps—disabling multicursor, clearing cache, and everything the bot recommended—but nothing has worked. I also opened a support case yesterday and haven’t heard back from the Figma team yet. This is significantly impacting my work, as I’m losing hours each day dealing with it.Has anyone experienced something similar or have suggestions on what I could try next?

Hi Team,Multiple users are facing issues with the Figma desktop application. After logging in successfully on the web version, when they try to open Figma on the desktop app, it prompts them to log in via a browser again. Even after logging in multiple times, the same issue persists.I have attached screenshots for your reference. Please look into this on a priority basis, as deliverables are getting delayed and this is impacting the work of multiple users.Thank you.

Can you please help check the status of it?

Hi everyone,I wanted to share a situation I ran into and ask if anyone has had a similar experience or managed to get a refund. Our team has been on the Professional plan with 1 Full seat ($20/month). On March 12, I added 7 team members to our workspace intending to give them view/comment access only. I didn't realize that adding members defaults to Full seat (Editor) permission, which triggers billing at $20/seat per month. As a result, we were charged:- Prorated Full seats (Mar 12 - Apr 10, 7 seats): $149.68- Full seats (Apr 10 - May 10, 7 seats): $140.00- Total unexpected charge: $289.68Most of the 7 members never actually used Figma during this period. As soon as I identified the issue, I downgraded all of them back to Viewer on April 10.I've already reached out to Figma support requesting a refund, but I understand this may fall outside their standard policy. Has anyone successfully received a refund or account credit in a similar situation? Any advice on how to approach this would

Hello,I am currently a student and using my university email address with Figma. However, I am experiencing an issue with my education verification and cannot access the Figma Education benefits.I already contacted SheerID regarding this matter. They informed me that my verification process was successfully completed on their side and that the status was forwarded to Figma. According to them, the issue is not on their end.At the same time, I am unable to re-submit my verification because SheerID only allows verification once every 365 days. Whenever I try again, I receive a message saying that I have already submitted a request. This leaves me in a situation where my student verification seems to have been lost or not properly processed by Figma.Could you please help me understand what might have gone wrong and how this issue can be resolved?I urgently need access to the Figma Education plan, as I am currently working towards completing my bachelor’s degree this year.Thank you in advanc

Hi Figma Support Team, We are trying to publish our Figma plugin, but we keep encountering the following error message when attempting to publish:We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed   We have not made any intentional changes to our account details, and we are unable to proceed with the plugin publication. Could you please help us understand what this error means, why it is occurring, and what steps we need to take to resolve it so we can successfully publish our plugin? Thank you for your assistance. We look forward to your reply. Best regards,Mockplus Team

The error message shown to me by Figma Make is: "Couldn't load Make. Try checking your network connection or refreshing the page. (M2)"I have tried checking my network, VPN and DNS settings, switching to different browsers to access Figma Make, and logging into it on different computers, yet the issue still persists. However, my teammates in the same team can use it normally, and we are all under the same network environment. So I suspect that the problem might be related to my account. Could you please help me resolve this issue? Thank you so much!

I have a full seat. I have created this library named KBC Bootstrap, which I’ve published and I don’t see the “Export to figma make” to create a Make kit for Figma Make. I’ve tried all of the suggestions. I can not figure out why I can’t see it. The option was available couple weeks ago.

Dear Figma Content Reviews Team,I am writing to follow up on my previous message, as I have not yet received a response.Thank you for your guidance so far. As explained, I am having difficulty retrieving the bank records from a long time ago due to account changes. While we work on resolving this billing issue, I have a very humble request. The design files and professional portfolios stored in this account ([2026-04-09 Removed PII - AB]) are the result of years of my hard work and are critical to my career.Could you please grant me temporary access to my account (for just 2-3 days)? This would allow me to download and back up my essential project files (.fig files) to avoid a total loss of my work. Once I have secured my data, I am more than happy to continue the discussion regarding the chargeback and settle any necessary payments.I sincerely hope for your empathy and assistance in this difficult situation. I am ready to cooperate in any way possible to rectify the billing issue.Thank

First let me say that I really love Figma and the speed at which it lets me create anything I can think of.  What I don’t like is the delays going from creation to launch. All of my DNS settings are correct and propagated.  Still waiting on SSL to be issued.  Every time I launch a site it’s the same thing….waiting days for the SSL.  Can we get an engineer to look into how SSL certs are created?  This should be a <1 minute process.

My plugin ID 1614785822982673698 seems to be stuck in review for almost a month. I never received an email confirmation when submitting. When visiting the URL https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1614785822982673698/portable-expert I do see the message “This page is private for now. Only you can see it while your plugin is in review.” So it’s still floating around somewhere. Can your team take a look please?

Hi Team,I am unable to unpublish my figma make website which was published from another account in which it was created orignally, thereafter the ownership was trasnferred in my name, despite being the owner, i am unable to take down the webite.Hoping for a prompt resolution, thanks & regards

When editing a master component, using the UI pulldown menu (right sidebar inspector) to convert a Group to a Frame updates the layer display, but the underlying Plugin API node type incorrectly remains GROUP instead of changing to FRAME.The issue here is that there’s now a mismatch between the way the API can access this node type and the way it’s represented to humans in the display tree; Humans can’t visually verify that we’re looking at a false Frame (that’s really just a Group) unless they run dev console commands against the node type.Steps to reproduce: Create a Component Add random things to it, Group those items Select the Group Type this in the console: console.log(figma.currentPage.selection[0]?.type); Note that it says “GROUP” Use the UI to switch in the sidebar to change it into a Frame Repeat the console command Note that it still outputs “GROUP”, and display tree says that it’s a Frame

Hi all,I’m running into an issue with my AI credits not resetting as expected. My billing/reset date is April 9, but as of today my credits are still showing as empty.I’ve already submitted a support request but haven’t heard back yet. This is currently blocking progress on a project that needs immediate attention, so I’m trying to understand if there’s a known delay or issue. For context:Plan type: Full SeatExpected reset date: April 9Current status: 0 credits remainingHas anyone seen this happen before? Is there typically a lag with credit resets, or does this sound like a bug?Appreciate any insight.

I am using a school account and made a whole project a year ago. When going back I seemingly have lost access to that file and cannot gain access since I “am not the file owner” but I created it all on this account that I am using. Is there any way to access it since I cannot find the file anywhere except for the tab I’ve kept open all this time looking for it?

Figma Credit scam. Earlier there were 86 credits. Then I gave prompt. Usage credit for said Prompts were 40. & then it shows 0 credit left. This is just a new way of scam.

I am writing from my second account because I am currently unable to log in to my main account and therefore cannot access the forum or check the status of my support request. The email address linked to the suspended account is: [PII removed - 2026-04-09 AB]Support ticket number: #1840464My account was suspended after I accidentally posted test content to the Community while I was simply trying out Figma Make using a random prompt from the internet. It was not my intention to violate the Community Guidelines or publish anything inappropriate.I sincerely apologize for this mistake. I understand the importance of following the community rules, and I assure you that this will not happen again in the future. I will be much more careful and make sure to fully comply with all guidelines going forward.I also received the message: “We've received your request”, but the ticket link does not work for me because I am currently unable to log in to my suspended account. Because of this, I am unable

Hi Figma support team, i am currently having issues receiving my verification link to open a company account in my name. I have contacted my IT support in my company about the issue, and it has been resolved that the problem is not from their end. Your AI assistant suggested the IT team removes it from quarantine, but an email has to be received before it’s quarantined. please keep in mind I am not receiving any email from figma.  Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.Best regards.

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with image quality on my Figma Site. When I preview the page inside Figma, all images look perfect — crisp and clear with their original PNG quality. However, after publishing and viewing the site via the live URL, the same images appear compressed or blurred, as if Figma Sites applied an automatic optimization or downscaling. Here’s my published page for reference:👉 https://tangchuan.figma.site/200%E5%90%8B%E5%B9%95%E5%B8%83%E6%B5%B7%E5%A4%96%E8%A7%86%E8%A7%89%E7%AD%96%E5%88%92I’ve already confirmed that: All images are PNG format, not JPG. They look sharp in the editor and preview. The compression only happens after publishing. Does Figma Site automatically compress or optimize images when publishing? If so, is there any way to keep full-resolution image quality, or disable compression for key visuals?Would really appreciate any guidance or confirmation from the Figma team or anyone who’s solved this. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Dear Figma Support Team,I accidently deleted a critical figma file(Crowd Safe) permanently. I request to kindly restore it as this is a high priority file for me. I am sharing the Figma Link: [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]Please help 🙏🏻ThanksVarun Sahdev
