I’m currently trying to verify my student status for the Figma Education plan, but I’ve been unable to complete the verification process.I have already uploaded the required documentation, including: My Student ID Enrollment Verification Tuition Receipts I reached out to SheerID for assistance, but my support tickets keep getting closed automatically without any explanation or resolution. I also emailed the Figma Education team directly and have not yet received a response.At this point, I’m unsure how to proceed and would greatly appreciate any help in manually reviewing my documents or guiding me through the next steps to verify my student status.Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I am a student currently attending ASU as an undergraduate studying Computer Science. For an assignment for one of my classes, I needed to create a figma account using my ASU email which I have done and am using right now. However, I also need to get the “free for students and professors” plan as specified in the assignment description for my class, but when trying to verify my student status with uploaded documents I keep getting rejected. I have submitted pictures of my class schedule, ASU profile, major map, and my student ID. I am unsure what to do and need assistance getting verified asap. Thank you so much in advance.

I’ve got verification of educational account, however, I cannot upgrade my team. when I try to upgrade my team through pressing the plan changing button it does not show the educational plan option. Can the support team help check the verification status of my account?

It doesn’t matter which date you enter, it adds zero at the beginning (i didn’t put this zero):  

When a Figma Make file is published as a template and remixed, images from the original file fail to load in the remixed copy. This makes image-dependent templates unreliable for our team.Is there an officially supported method to include images in a Make template that guarantees they persist through remixes?

Unable to publish website due to this error message.  No images arent my own.  How do I fix this?

When you go into figma slides and + create new style you have properties.Select create style and select more options.1. When I click on the dropdown where Inter is display the menu appears normally2. Drag the menu to the side 3. 2 font menus appear, this is like react bug I guess   

After updating my password and being notified of new Terms and Conditions, all drafts I created in the last two years have disappeared. The missing drafts are not located in any Teams I belong to. They are not in Trash. I am using a Free (Student) account.  

I noticed while changing text style’s font that by dragging the scroll handle makes the font list disappear until I let go of the mouse button. I’m using Windows app.

Hi, it seems that libraries are not loading. Are there any network issue, or can we make it so that these liraries are cached or are local and you can keep working when offline? The case now is that i can create files, but saving them, changing a name or adding libraries do not seem to be saved or updated. Figma is not workable this way… 

Figma Slides seem to not receive any love or updates from the Figma Team… what a shame for such a promising product.We are trying to simply animate a few text boxes and it turned out really cumbersome. The animation panel always resets to default instead of reusing the settings I just used for the previous layer (e.g. Fade, 150ms). Why would I ever want a piece of text to ‘Slide right’ at the slow pace of 600ms anyway…? 😅 

When I try SSO login with my work account (bogdan.dikov@km.kongsberg.com) I see this error message: “You've made too many recent attempts. Please try again later” and if I refresh the page I see this: “ {"error":true,"status":422,"message":"This SAML response has already been used. Please try logging in again.","i18n":null}  ”

I am experiencing an issue with my student verification status on my Figma account.My student verification was approved through SheerID on January 28, 2026, under my university email (@terpmail.umd.edu). SheerID confirmed that my request is approved and still active, and that I am not eligible to reapply within 335 days because the verification remains valid.However, my Figma account continues to request verification as if it has not been activated.I first contacted education@figma.com last month regarding this issue and did not receive a response. I followed up again last week  and still have not received any update or resolution.I have already: Cleared my browser cache Tried different browsers Used incognito/private mode Tried a different device At this point, it appears the SheerID approval has not synced properly with my Figma account. I would love to have my Figma Make Template that i created, that ingested our Design System via private NPM, to check if there are newer Versions of the NPM package present. Hi there,I have a frame with the Glass effect on top of a linear gradient making up the background of my first slide. This looks fine in the Slides file and regular presentation views, but appears differently when viewed from Presentation with Notes, as pictured. The file thumbnail is also off in a slightly different way, which never appears in any other circumstance. This issue seems to only affect the first slide of the presentation, despite all others containing the same properties.Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!  

I cannot access additional features for images such as the one I attached. I am using Figma Pro, but I cannot find this feature in my Figma Pro, whereas it is available in Figma Free. 

Having massive issues with Figma Make and has left my project un-useable. After every prompt following an update this morning we see an error and request to reload the page. It has steadily been getting worse over the last 2 weeks but now on every prompt it crashes.I have deleted the Desktop cache and files but same issue. Occurs on both web and desktop versions.I know I am not the only user experiencing this - Please advise as It has essentially broken my project and have no alternative. Something went wrong...Our team is looking into it now. Hi! I recently updated Figma and after I updated it I can work for a little bit of time before it begins to delete my work when I click on an object. I also started to type and it began to delete whatever I typed. 

 Modify a component with multiple variants Use the “component description” to write a description and select some text to modify. Use bold, italic, or underline keyboard short cuts within the description. (command + b for example) Observe that both the selected description text and the actual UI design are modified by this. Shouldnt it only affect the wysiwyg editor if that’s open?Heres a quick video of the issue.

Hello Figma Team, I’m a postgraduate design student at Monash University, and I’ve been trying to access Figma’s Education Program for several weeks now. Unfortunately, what should be a simple verification process has turned into a loop of rejections, blocked attempts, and system errors — all thanks to SheerID. Here’s what happened: I submitted my government-issued ID (first a South Australia Age Card, then my passport), as requested. The photos were clear, glare-free, and unedited — I followed every requirement listed. As a result, I received “We were unable to confirm your identity”, with no explanation given. Even more frustratingly, I was never given a chance to upload my student ID or proof of enrolment — the verification flow simply didn’t include that step.
