Hello Figma Support,I’m reaching out because our team lost access to a Figma project after removing a user from our Professional plan. The project is no longer visible to any team admin in the file browser, All Projects, Trash, deleted files, or Unassigned drafts. However, when we try to open the direct link, we receive an access error. Multiple admins have checked and none of us can see or recover the project from the UI.We previously had access to this project, so we need help from Figma Support to investigate the ownership/access history and help us recover access.Could someone from the support team please review this issue and let us know what information you need from us to proceed?Thank you,Federico Stampini
Hello I was reaching out to see if I can get refund on my previous charges for Figma subscription from March-July on my account. I had a final project for my university class due in May and we were required to use Figma. Our University provides us with Figma service to help cover the cost for education related services which I was unaware Figma was one of them of at the time, but I used a free trial and paid for two months of the trial initially until spoke to my professor about the how financially I couldn't keep paying for the service and then found out through the school I was granted the service. I canceled the subscription back in February and made a new account with my groupmates. Recently I was going through my email and saw I was still getting charged for the subscription even thought it states I have a free plan and I canceled it already. I'm confused what is going on and as a student can’t afford for these charges and hoping I could get a refund on them.I really would appreci
Can I get refund from my professional account to starter account? Haven’t use any credits after payment.
Has any else been having an issue with the Figma extension where ir copies the HTML screen and pastes it mirrored? Does anyone have a workaround for this? This is the original And this is how it was pasted in Figma: Thanks in advance
Working through the information architecture for a booking-style app (think something like scheduling a service visit — a car wash slot, a fleet vehicle pickup, that kind of flow) and stuck between three structures. Curious how others here have approached this in Figma. The core flow: pick a service type → pick a time slot → confirm vehicle/location details → payment → confirmation. Nothing exotic, but the ordering and screen-grouping keeps feeling off — especially since I'm trying to reuse the same base components for both a simple car wash app booking and a heavier fleet management app assignment flow.Option A — Stepper pattern One screen per step, persistent progress bar at top, back/next navigation. Clean, predictable, but feels slow if the user already knows exactly what they want.Option B — Single scrolling form Everything on one long screen with collapsible sections (accordion-style), auto-expanding as each section is completed. Faster for power users, but harder to show validati
It look like this on drag. Check the link belowSo I made a carousel slider for a product card. It use to work fine but now it just weird. Instead of transition to the next card, it become the next card and the actual next card fade away. This might be smart animate misunderstand. I tried rename, redo, testing everything but nothing work. This is how I make the carousel:1. The card and their variants (name them 1-4)2. The card container (contain a big and a small variant)3. Create 4 instance of the card container, auto layout and paste them in a frame (convert to component)4. Add variants, then position them. Add on drag prototype, smart animate After a lot of testing I also found out that only the on drag from card 2 to card 1 is working as intended, not the other way around.Component link: https://www.figma.com/design/ErT0E7cpTOByCQBLE3d11t/Carousel-Component?node-id=0-1&t=IZRgpCbckGstqxXI-1
Hi, long Figma user here. Just recently noticed here and there some components in my library are getting these weird, long unprompted component documentation which are obviously AI rendered. Every time some pop up I have to manually remove then and that’s been nagging at me. I am my company DS head and have never prompted this, nor have been asked to consent. How do I stop this forever? Thanks.
Hello Figma Support Team,I have cancelled my Figma Professional subscription and I would like to remove any stored payment method associated with my account. Please delete my saved card/payment information and confirm that no future automatic charges will be made.Account email:[YOUR EMAIL]Team:Narges's Starter teamThank you.
Expected behaviourI have an Icon Button component that uses a Slot for its icon, with variants for press state and such. I made a new component set for a Chat Input, with different variants that change on interacting with the Icon Button (such as type, voice etc), so its a nested component in the Chat Input component set. So when I click an icon button with the icon keyboard, the variant in chat input should change to the typing version of the input box. So in this input box, there is an icon button with mic icon, which is there incase the user wants to switch back to voice mode.Instead of displaying the mic icon defined in the target variant, the slotted icon (keyboard) from the previous state persists and overrides it. To be clear, a Mic button incorrectly displays a Keyboard icon, and replacing the Keyboard icon with a different icon causes that new icon to appear across variants as well. Please refer the screenshot to see what behaviour I expected and the screen recording to see ho
Hello guys, first time publishing here. I’m looking for a Design Community File of Information Architeture (or something like that) that looks like the images below. I don’t have acess to the original file and can’t find any resource on the community that looks like that.It is very helpfull to me to work on some low-level aprovements and stuff.
I had a strange glitch happen right after a Figma update - when I re-named two files I was working in (getting organized right before I did the final export for a project that had been going on for 9 months), one file refreshed right before my eyes and became duplicated content of the other. (so both are now my draft file content and my final flow is just gone. I have done every thing the chat bots have had me try, and its just gone. I mean you can delete a file and still access for 30 days. It has to be somewhere. But not even getting a response for 10 days … im wroried this flie is going to be gone forever I can’t even get someone to open my ticket. I have left updates - I am at a loss
OS: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS Browser: Firefox (version 150) Devices tested: Dell Inspiron 15 3530 and Dell Inspiron 3501 Problem DescriptionWhen using Figma in Firefox, an unexpected behavior occurs while panning (moving the canvas) with the cursor. The last sentence typed or copied starts appearing repeatedly across the screen, as if a "Ctrl + V" command were being triggered continuously. This behavior only happens during canvas movement. As soon as the movement stops, the "pasting" effect ceases. This bug directly impacts workflow, making Figma unusable in Firefox and forcing a switch to other browsers.Steps to Reproduce Open Figma in Firefox. Access any file. Type or copy any text string. Move the canvas using the cursor (pan). Observe that the text is repeatedly "pasted" or rendered across the screen during the movement.
Hi Figma team,The use_figma (write to canvas) tool is no longer appearing in my MCP tool list, and I'm blocked on active design work.My setup:- Client: Claude (claude.ai) with the official remote MCP server (https://mcp.figma.com/mcp)- Seat: Full seat, organization admin (confirmed in admin settings)- File permission: edit access (I'm the file owner)- Figma desktop app open with the target design file in the active tabWhat works:- All read tools work against the same file in the same session: get_design_context, get_metadata, get_screenshot, get_variable_defsWhat doesn't:- use_figma is completely absent from the tool list — it never appears, so any write-to-canvas action is impossibleSteps I've already tried:- Removed and re-added the Figma connector, re-authenticated via OAuth- Started fresh sessions after reconnecting- Confirmed the design file is in the active tab of the desktop app before starting a session- Verified Full seat and edit permissionImportant: use_figma worked normally
When using an element as a pattern source, the pattern currently doesn’t respond to variables applied to that source - for example, if the source element uses color variables that switch between light and dark mode, the pattern doesn’t update when the consuming frame changes modes. It seems the pattern references only the visible state of the source rather than the variable-driven values. It would be great if patterns could follow the variables applied to their source, so that they update correctly with light and dark modes.
I have been working with figma motion feature for a since its released and trying reach its limits in terms of what can be done. But I get this kind of lags very often despite keyframed only two properties. The example design contains only text. What can cause this type of problem?I add screenshot and screenrecording aswellScreenshot:
I’m trying to find a plugin for exporting variables. I was very happy with Variables2css because it has alias fallbacks. But it won’t run at all if the file has extended collections. I then went down a wormhole trying to find another plugin, but all of the ones I tried (i must have tried like 6 of them) return “0 variables” or otherwise empty for the extended collections. I wanted to use Figma’s native export but it only outputs JSON, not CSS.
Hi everyone, I’m running into an issue with a mobile navbar component. The component has two variants: Default (hamburger icon) and Open (with menu links). On my mobile frame, I set the variant to "Open" so I can select the links and add "Scroll to" interactions to specific anchors on the page. If I leave the component in the "Open" state and preview, the links work perfectly, but the menu is obviously open as soon as the page loads. If I change the component back to "Default" so the user has to click to open it, the "Scroll to" links I set up no longer work once the menu opens in the prototype. It seems like the variant switch is "wiping" my instance overrides for the links. Is there a way to keep these specific scroll interactions while still using the variant toggle?
I’m using the web app for my macbook. I’ve waited a day already, restarted my computer. Yes, my mode is on the right mode. Everything’s checked, I just can’t move it. When I used the website, I can. Take note, the app is upgraded. The thing about the website is when it comes to expanding the “pages section” (the section on the left panel), I can’t expand them. What’s happening!!!! I have a presentation in a bit and it’s important
I am experiencing a bug where copying a design from Figma Instance A (Monitor 1) and pasting it into Figma Instance B (Monitor 2), the elements do not paste correctly. The layers are missing in the destination instance and components are detached as well resulting in empty groups or incomplete components. This issue only happens when using two separate Figma Desktop instances. If I copy from the same window, the copy-paste operation works perfectly.Environment:OS: Edition Windows 11 Home 26200.8655Figma Version: 126.5.6Setup: Dual-monitor, two separate Figma Desktop app windows. Copied Design from Monitor 1Pasted Design in Monitor 2
I've been testing the Menu components from the iOS and iPadOS 27 library by using slots, changing different states of menu items, icons, labels, and other properties. After switching between several modes, I clicked Undo and Redo a few times. The behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable and can lead to unexpected changes in designs.Undoing a mode switch in the Dimensions collection has no effect. However, undoing a mode switch in the Colors collection resets the component to its default state.I understand that it might be difficult to undo all changes when switching modes, because there can be many variables associated with a single collection, and component naming might be part of the issue.Would it be possible to handle mode switches differently in Undo/Redo, instead of recommending that users avoid Undo when switching modes?
Hello Figma Support Team, I am writing to request a refund for an accidental charge on our latest invoice. Recently, a team member's account was unintentionally upgraded to a paid 'Dev Mode' seat. As soon as we noticed this mistake, we immediately downgraded the user back to view-only mode to prevent further charges. Since this was an accidental action and the additional seat was not intentionally utilized for the month, we kindly request a refund or credit for this specific extra charge.Team Name: [Pawdly] Organization/Invoice Number: [Upcoming Invoice, Due date : 8/3] Affected User Email: [redacted by the moderator due to PII] Thank you very much for your understanding and assistance. Best regards,

HelloI am writing to request a status update on my pending OAuth app submission, as the review process is taking longer than expected. I submitted the app for review several days ago, but I have not yet received any feedback or approval updates. I want to ensure that all necessary information was provided correctly and that the application is not stuck in the queue. We need this app ASAP because of production…
