Usually, creating a new comment in Figma Design opens the comment bubble and places the cursor inside the input to allow me to immediately start typing.
Recently I have noticed that sometimes (I’m not sure exactly what specific scenarios) the cursor doesn’t get placed into the comment bubble. This is hard to notice and the inconsistency makes it annoying as I start typing and then, rather than typing my comment, Figma starts jumping around as my keypresses are registered not as text input, but as UI shortcuts, navigation between boards, changing tools and so on. This then takes several seconds to revert back to how things were and find where I was in my file, and takes my focus off the comment I was trying to make.
After this happens, the next comment might be absolutely fine, or it might happen again - there’s no obvious pattern of when it does/doesn’t happen.
