I’m noticing with Figma Make I’m almost always having to issue multiple requests for the same action - very often it will confirm a change which has simply not occurred. This is on both design and function, across multiple properties. Example - the header copy on a landing page, getting it to left-align with the other content. The issue is two fold - one, it says the changes are made, but they are not. Two, I end up having to issue the same request repeatedly showing it that its change is not having the intended outcome. I’ve tried restarting the MacOS app, I’ve tried resetting the cache, running clean-ups of the code, just doesn’t seem to be helping much. Repeated action commands for the same thing are really slowing down my workflow productivity. Additionally, I’ve noticed Figma Make just stops mid-update. I have to prompt it to continue or it will just not do so. Not sure how to solve these

I recently discovered that the “check color contrast” feature in the Figma color palette window is not 100% accurate and rounds up the contrast value compared to the WebAim Contrast Checker. This is very concerning and potentially problematic when resolving passing contrast levels among brand colors and accessibility. Hey there 👋My company is currently using Figma for content creation, and we were really excited to see that we could finally export videos directly from Figma Buzz.The problem is… exports seem to work randomly. Sometimes the file exports without an issue, but most of the time we end up waiting endlessly for the export to process, and nothing happens.It feels like we might not be the only ones experiencing this. Hi, I am having trouble with my pupils. It says “an admin needs to update seat”, how do I do this as I can’t see anything about seats in the Admin tab. Can you help? I am a teacher for Highland Virtual academy so my pupils have various school address, not all @portreehigh.

I previously had a Figma account registered with my old company email address . Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that email since I’ve left the company.After the recent Figma update, the login process now requires an access code sent to the registered email. Because I can’t receive that code, I’m completely locked out of my Figma account.As a result, I’ve lost access to all my design files and projects, which are critical for my ongoing work. I urgently need access to these files or a way to transfer them to my new email address.Your help would be greatly appreciated — this is very important for my work.

I attempted to cancel my subscription and remove my credit card details, but despite being on the Starter plan, $25 was still charged to my card. I also reached out to the support and sales teams but haven’t received any response. I previously informed you that I no longer need my Figma subscription, yet I was still billed. Please help me resolve this issue — I would like to request a refund.

I have done everything (from turning off spam filters, to making sure the email works, tried from different browsers).I am only logged into Figma via the Mac app.I can’t login via Google, it’s not a google account.It’s not via my 2fa auth code, it’s an actual email being sent I am not able to login, I’m on a subscription and can’t even access my account.  The AI chatbot said they’d send me an update to my ticket via email, womp womp I don’t think I’ll get it.What can I do?  I made this temp account to post this, my real account email is different.  please help

Hello! There was a problem exporting layouts after purchasing a new system. Layouts are exported with extra pixels, I attached a screenshot. I'll say right away that I tried to export in 1x and 2x, and from the desktop version. I reinstalled Figma, now it's the newest version. I rebooted the computer. There's still a problem. Please tell me how to fix it, because it's very necessary for work.

I’m currently working on this picker area. I created one component set so I can switch between exercises 01–08.However, I’m not sure how to make the timer work together with it. I know that you can’t create an actual countdown timer inside Figma, but what I need is to show the timer state for each exercise.For example:01 — Calves — 04:00 Remaining02 — Hamstrings — 03:30 RemainingEach exercise has a duration of 30 seconds.How can I make this work so that when I click on “02 — Hamstrings,” the displayed countdown also changes to “03:30,” just to demonstrate to the developer how it’s supposed to function?​​​​​​

I am having trouble getting into any figma board and when I try to get into the board it starts to load but then stops in the same place I can not do anything to fix this but I can get into the website just fine, is there a way I canj fix this?

Hi everyone,I’ve noticed that the native plugin header (the top bar that shows the plugin icon, name, and close button) has a different height when running a plugin in Development mode compared to published plugins.In Development mode, the header is noticeably taller — around 56 px, while in published plugins it’s around 40 px. This reduces the usable vertical space inside the plugin window.It’s not just one plugin — I see the same behavior across all my plugins, even the most basic ones without any custom styling or JavaScript.I’m testing in the Figma Desktop app on macOS, latest version.Is this an intentional change in the Development environment, or maybe a bug introduced recently?

Hi there, I have reverified my education plan multiple times and have received emails that I am verified and my educational plan is activated, but in Figma I still see the notification “Education status expired.”  Please advise. 

Hey everyone, I successfully authenticated my student status through SheerID, they have confirmed that all my information was correct. Somehow my status was still not transferred to Figma and I don’t have access to my education account, does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue as I have already reached out to education@figma.com about a month ago and haven’t heard back yet. Or who I could possibly reach out to instead or through a different medium?

After importing a figma file in figma the images do not appear in the design.I have received the the figma files from the UI designer.

Hello!This issue is getting on my nerves for over a year.So, the issue is basically reported in this topic from 7 months ago and it seems that it’s still not fixed properly.In short, when I copy some element and try to paste it somewhere else, it’s 50% chance it will paste what I copied moments ago or something from the last clipboard state. I’m 100% certain I clicked Ctrl + C before.To answer community support member right away - I’m on windows, but other member on my team is using Mac and encounter SAME issues as I do. Also, it’s not linked to the specific file, it happens all the time.Also, when I try to copy something from computer back to figma, it’s also working in the same unpredictable manner.How to fix this please? 

Hello,I am working on building basic and complex components within my figma file and I am running into a road-block.  It is my goal to re-design all the pieces to reflow from a full screen mode to a half-screen size.  This entails using auto-layout for components.  What I need help with is that I have individual child frames all together in an auto-layout parent frame.  I have successfully structured the typography, icons, and background within each frame to reflow properly when I re-size the component.  However, I am running into one issue which is that the background colors within each child frame will start growing/shrinking exactly where they started, but I would rather than start where the prior frame ended (after the adjustment) + 2 pixels for spacing.  As I grow or shrink the space, it doesn’t adjust like I wish and messes up the design.  Is there a way to fix this or am I expecting a feature that doesn’t exist? 

I’m the only UI designer responsible for my company’s mobile app.A few weeks ago, we decided to migrate all our app UI designs -over 150 screens- from Adobe XD to Figma.So far, I’ve recreated a few new flows in Figma and shared separate prototype links for each (as I used to do in XD).But we recently realized that every shared prototype link reveals the entire design document, and that all flows are visible from the left menu.This is a serious problem for us because we have multiple teams working on different areas of the app, and some of those teams’ work is confidential even to other teams.I’ve looked for ways to share only specific flows or limit visibility, but so far couldn’t find a practical solution other than creating separate files - which isn’t feasible for a 150-screen, 30-flow project.Is there any way to share only specific flows (or hide others) within the sam

We have an issue when attempting to add external team members to our connected project. Both organisations are on a paid plan and have a connected project setup. The external team member attempting to add, is part of the connected organisation.However, when attempting to add an external member to the connected project they are restricted saying they need to be part of the host organisation.
