Can't use AI on Education plan

Hi, I’m on the Education plan, and Figma shows ‘Out of AI credits’ even though I have not used any AI features. I can’t even see my AI credits balance. Please help me check why AI credits appear unavailable on my account.

Sorry for the disruption here — quick context on how this is meant to work: With the Education plan, you get 3,000 AI credits per month, which reset monthly and don't roll over.

Can you try opening the Main menu from a file you have edit access to, then selecting AI balance? If the balance isn't showing at all, that may point to something other than credit usage.

If things are still blocked, this needs an account-level look. To move forward with that, please open a ticket with our Customer Support team and include:

  1. your team name
  2. a screenshot of the "Out of AI credits" message
  3. a screenshot of your Main menu (if the AI balance option isn't appearing)
  4. and roughly when this started.

That'll let the team take a deeper look at what's happening on your account. Appreciate you pulling that together and let me know if you hit any trouble getting connected. 🙏🏻
