It feels like Figma has been biased in releasing new features to the USA first, which seems completely unfair. I believe I have the right to take legal action against this pattern of favoring one country, where users there get to explore and access features first. It’s been almost a year since I’ve seen any new features for our corporate account. While we can download the latest version of the software, the UI appears to be manipulated based on who logs in. This adds another layer of hypocrisy in deciding which organizations, especially larger ones, get access before smaller ones. I plan to dig deeper into this matter and take it to court soon.

Sometime changing the copy in the desktop version would be updated in the tablet and mobile version but most of time I have have to update the copy manually in all 3 version. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I’m trying to make a Figma Make kit but none of the library’s styles and variables are populating in the md files. I’ve made sure that they’re all published so I’m confused why I’m not seeing them. Very tedious to have to copy and paste all the values over too, so hoping I don’t have to do that.

When I open a design file from my homepage , it always report this error, not all files occurredsometimes it worked if I open the same file in a new tab, please fix ASAP

I'm using Figma in Japan.I'm considering upgrading, but the Professional plan only allows video uploads.https://www.figma.com/ja-jp/pricing/Does this mean I can't create video files within Figma or export entire files as videos (like MP4)?Also, can I play videos and audio when launching a prototype using the Figma mobile app?Please let me know as soon as possible.

I woke up this morning to find that all my design system’s variables have been duplicated (automatically not manually by a user overnight), and that these duplications are showing grayed out and I can’t delete them. I have tried restarting & refreshing. I have tried/searched for ghost variables used in the design system file and in all attached files (results came back as 0 exist). I am hoping someone can help me understand why this is happening and how to resolve it. In the attached image you can see all my variable collections, and then the greyed out duplicated ones of each collection below it. I have no option to delete the greyed out version, and when I try deleting one of the editable collection It doesn’t change the status of the greyed out one.

 When clicking in this elementor clicking ⌘+shift+Y it opens this panel below. Before, above the “Tabs in this window” it had a search box active when the panel was open. Now it doesn’t have it (maybe a bug since the newest release). It’s very useful to be able to type right away, and now we cannot longer do it. Can you please put it back? thanks. 

Hi, Sometimes annotations don’t get saved but simply disappear.It often seems to happen in this order: writing annotation - selecting category - enter.So when clicking enter while the focus is not in the text field of the annotation… I started to copy the written text before leaving the annotation, so I don’t have to rewrite everything again, which is very unpleasant- especially in meetings.

Hi Figma Support Team,I’m experiencing a recurring issue with Figma Make that’s making it almost impossible to work. Every time I use Make to generate or update something on a page, it completes the action and then automatically refreshes back to the Home screen, closing my active file and interrupting my workflow.

I created a design on figma, then i want to copy, since yesterday, it has been telling me failed to copy, please help 

My entire team received the Figma software update, the latest person received since last month. I'm waiting for the update, but my Figma hasn't updated yet.What can I do?

When I try to use a library outside of the file that I’m in, I can see the contents of the library but if I try to use anything it shows an error. E.g. I have a file with some colour tokens and components in that I’m using as library. I have another file which is using the library. When I try to use a colour from the library I see the list of  available token in the library, but when I select one I get an error message saying ‘An error occurred while retrieving the variable’. If I try to add a component from the library, again I can see the component in the library but when I try to insert an instance I get the error message ‘Unable to load. Something went wrong. Try closing this window and reselecting the component.’

Hi Figma Support Team! I recently realized that I stored most of my files in an old email that doesn’t exist anymore (my student email that has since been deactivated) and I was wondering if there was a way to recover these files or change the email associated with that account to a new one? Hello, we are experiencing an issue with Figma AI. Yesterday we entered prompts into Figma AI, but when we tried to generate the result, it showed an error. We tried again 2–3 times with different attempts, but the same issue kept happening.  We refreshed the page, but the problem still continues. Hello,Our latest invoice seems to have an incorrect total.The “Billing adjustments” item is $19.53. We use 1 full seat + 1 developer seat, and last month we added 1 more full seat. The adjustment should only reflect that new seat, but it looks like it may have been charged nearly twice.I believe the total should be about $20 lower.I already contacted support but have not received any response for more than 3 days. Because I need it to solve and send proper invoice to our accountant, I tried to issue it to sales team, but ticket was closed without any comment and comments are disabled. If I start chat with “AI agent”, it’s response is more than useless (it it asking for the information I already write or offer might to add memo to my invoice). Jiri Kala

Hey guys, So I just started playing with Figma sites, and I’ve pulled in components from a component library I built in Figma design. The components are built with nested icon components that are setup flattened and named consistently so that I can create interactive prototypes. In Figma the buttons with nested icon buttons render properly maintaining the variable token colour assigned to them.But when I bring these components across to Figma sites. The buttons work as expected, but the nested icons appear to ignore the colour style variable overrides applied to them.In the editor I can change the variant states of the buttons and the icons appear and render as expected with the proper color rendering.But as soon as I preview or publish the site. These same components no longer render the same.Looking into the code it appears that the fill is being applied properly to the divs, but for some reason, the svg layer is ignoring this style override and reverting back to it’s original black

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a multi-brand design system in Figma using Variables, and I’ve structured it into three collections:• Primitives• Semantics• ComponentsBoth the Semantics and Components collections use the same set of modes, which represent different brand themes (Brand X, Brand Y, etc.).However, I’m running into a problem:At the moment, there’s no way to tell Figma that the modes in these separate collections are related to each other. Because of that, interaction colors defined in the Semantics collection (for example blue in Brand X and green in Brand Y) can both appear as blue in the Components collection preview.This becomes confusing because when both modes are actually applied to a component, the final rendered result is different from what the Variables preview in Figma suggests.One possible solution I’m considering is merging the Semantics and Components layers into a single collection.The downside is that it becomes less organized, but the advantage is tha

Hi all,My team is trying to connect Figma and GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent (not GitHub's local VSCode coding agent). Our end goal is enabling the cloud coding agent to access Figma MCP tools like  “get_code”/”get_design_context”. Since there's no public plans yet on any direct connection between the two, I have questions about potential alternatives:Are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma MCP to support a PAT or API based authorization? This would be incredibly useful for apps that don't use Oauth like GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent. Hi, like several others - I’m having an issue in Figma Make in one specific project. Error: “Couldn’t connect, check your internet and try again”Request ID: 19e5ee8b-aa58-4a84-8d5f-a53c88d47d6a Behavior:  In this project, Make stops processing my prompts/requests and shows the error banner. It starts to process the instructions but then remove it entirely Other Figma Make projects work normally. If I create a clone, the same error appears again.  What I tried: VPN and blockers disabled Tested on Windows (chrome) and on phone with mobile data (same result)
