Hello my school email account that I use figma with is going to be deactivated and I would like to switch emails but the link to contact support on the guide page doesn’t work. I would really love to have access to all these files as they are very important. I don’t know where to turn.

Hi Figma Support Team,I am writing to request a refund for an unexpected $154.19 charge on my account, which occurred on August 9, 2026.My Figma subscription normally costs me around $40 per month, so I was very surprised to see that I had suddenly been charged $154.19 this month.I recently invited several people to my Figma team so that we could collaborate on a project. However, I did not realize that adding them as collaborators would result in them being assigned paid Full seats and significantly increase my subscription cost. I genuinely thought I was simply inviting people to collaborate on my files, and I never intended to purchase five Full seats or authorize these additional charges.According to my invoice, I was charged $100.00 for 5 Full seats, as well as a $54.19 billing adjustment, bringing the total to $154.19. I was completely unaware that inviting these collaborators would result in these charges.I only need my regular subscription and do not need these additional Full

Wen enabling the AI features, Figma says this is a permanent change (professional plan). Is there a way to disable them later if needed?

What it says on the tin. I can’t select, edit, or even click some dropdown options in Figma. It’s not localized to a file, and it’s not localized to desktop app vs browser. It seems to be localized to my desktop computer, as things are working fine on my laptop. I’ve tried restarting the app multiple times, reloading the files tabs, etc. I can’t do any work on my dedicated computer and am unsure how to fix or prevent it from happening again. This isn’t the first time it’s happened.

When I have edit access to a file, I really don’t want to always land in dev mode. Any time I open a figma file link from my teammates (who also have edit access and haven’t marked anything “Ready for dev”), opening them lands me in dev mode. It’s super annoying. I never use it, since I am more comfortable viewing and reviewing designs in the traditional edit mode. And outside of our team will full edit seats, no one even has access to dev mode! So it’s not like any viewer with a lesser set of permissions would get dropped into dev mode anyway; why is that the default?!

Thanks! And, if anyone could weigh in on how to access a board from a team member’s account that is SSO when their email account has been deactivated (so they are not able to login and transfer ownership), I would appreciate any help. 

I am working on a simple folder Icon. Everything is completely aligned to the pixel grid. See this example image: But when I go to the menu and select “Pixel Preview” to preview how the icon will look at 100%: The resulting image and UI components in my file look distorted, some with double borders, etc. It just looks janky: The interface zoom is set to 100%. All shapes are aligned perfectly to the pixel grid.I noticed that if I set the interface scale to 80%, everything looks crisp. See this image: But I can’t work like this. The UI is way too small. Why does pixel preview look horrible for me when the interface is at the default 100% scale?Possibly Related: I have a 4k monitor and my Windows DPI scaling is set to 125%. Could this be causing the issue?Can someone help?Edit: I don’t know why, but the last image with the UI scaling set to 80% looks a lot larger in my browser than it does on my desktop. Currently, when I make a local component inside of Figma Slides that contains a text layer, even though I can create a text property on the component itself, I cannot link the text contents from the text layer to its parent component. What I am trying to replicate (from Figma’s official Youtube channel)Note how in the text field, it reads “Today’s date”, the contents of the text layer nested in the component.​​​A closer look. What I see in Figma Slides (Design Mode)Selecting the text layer.Selecting the component.Note how I am able to create a text property on the component itself, but not reference that property in the component’s children. What I see inside of Figma Slides (Slide Mode)Selecting the text layer.Selecting the componnet. Conclusion I tried to be as thorough as possible 😭. Hey, guys.I’ve designed a prototype using Figma Make. Now I need to make a lot of small edits and tweaks without burning all of my credits in a blink.However, when I click on “Edit” button and select a component, I get no toolbar or any other route for accessing the source of that component and making changes through code.Even though Figma itself recommends Go to Source edits for saving credits, it seems that this option is missing. Why and how can I fix it?I am and admin of the project, I have a full seat, so permissions should not be the issue.Thanks to anyone willing to help out.

Hello, I verified my Figma account to my school email address account. However, I prefer to put it on my personal email account (but verified with my school email). Can I transfer plans to my personal account?

Unfortunately, I accidentally clicked the edit permission option, which seems to have temporarily changed the access level and resulted in a $10 full seat charge.As soon as I noticed the mistake, I immediately removed the edit/full seat access and the user no longer has any editing permission or full seat access to my team. Figma hit my account with a massive, unexpected charge of $379 USD for AI credits and automatic features that I never consciously authorized or used.​When I contacted support, after days of back-and-forth, they offered a "maximum exception" of only $80 USD, demanding that I cancel my account and subscription just to get that small fraction back. They flatly refused to refund the remaining $299 USD, claiming it was "consumed" under their pay-as-you-go system.​Getting billed almost $400 USD without clear consent feels like a textbook dark pattern. Keeping most of my money for automated AI credits I never intended to buy is completely unfair. Watch out for their automated billing traps.

Does Figma for Government support requests from IPv6 machines? Testing figma-gov.com with ping6 command did not work:$ ping6 -c 4 figma-gov.comping6: getaddrinfo -- nodename nor servname provided, or not known 

​  Everything on the Claude Desktop side is properly installed and shows as connected — the Figma connector/MCP server is active in Claude Desktop's settings.But the local Dev Mode MCP server in Figma never actually integrates with Claude Desktop. Figma just doesn't pick up the connection — no session starts, nothing happens, even though Claude reports it as connected. Has anyone else run into Figma simply not integrating with Claude Desktop despite the connection showing as active?  ​
