Hi everyone,I am starting this thread to see if anyone else has faced regional restriction issues with Figma's user research rewards, and to hopefully get some guidance from the Figma Community or Research Ops teams. The Issue:I recently completed a product feedback interview via an in-app popup during a Figma tutorial. I was issued a reward link via Rybbon (BHN Rewards) Because my location is in Pakistan, the platform restrictions only permit me to donate the balance rather than claim the incentive money directly.Current Status:I have left the reward link completely unclaimed and untouched. The Research Operations team can verify its status as "Unclaimed" via the corporate BHN Rewards dashboard. I emailed research@figma.com and research-surveys@figma.com yesterday with my account details and the reward link. What I am requesting:Could the User Research/Ops team please look into this, cancel the restricted Rybbon link, and reissue the incentive through an alternative method supported in
When a text box is set to Middle or Bottom vertical alignment, horizontally resizing the text box by dragging its edge causes the text box to behave as though it is Top-aligned. Steps to reproduce:Create a text box with enough lines of text to reflow. Set the text box's vertical alignment to Middle or Bottom. Drag the left or right edge of the text box to resize it horizontally, causing line reflow.Expected behavior:The text should maintain its chosen vertical alignment (Middle or Bottom) throughout the resize operation, and the text box frame should expand or contract in a way that preserves that alignment.Actual behavior:As the text reflows during resizing, the frame appears anchored to the top edge, causing the text to shift downward and temporarily behave as though it is Top-aligned.Additional observation:Using Shift + Command while resizing produces behavior that appears correct: the text box frame resizes proportionately and the selected vertical alignment is preserved. This sugg
Curious how others approach mobile carousels in native apps, especially in regulated industries like healthcare. We're debating whether a carousel with promotional/discovery content should include visible Previous/Next arrows in addition to swipe and pagination, or whether swipe + "See all" is sufficient.Part of the discussion is driven by accessibility requirements, and our Accessibility PM comes primarily from a web accessibility background, which adds an interesting perspective. How would you approach this in a native mobile app? Would you include arrows, or rely on swipe + See all? Interested in both UX and accessibility viewpoints.
I cancel my plan before the next payment date, and is a free plan, but it still charged, and I’m also free plan now.I’d like for the charge to be refunded
Hi! During the opening keynote at Schema 2025 (on October 28), the Figma team announced a new left navbar as part of the updated UI, mentioning it would start rolling out the following week. It’s been a few weeks since then, and I’ve already received an app update, but I still don’t see that new sidebar. Is the rollout still in progress, or is there something I need to do to enable it? Thanks!
Hi All,I've completed two UX projects and am currently working on my third. However, despite applying for roles, I'm not receiving many interview calls or job offers.I'd love feedback on:• Case study structure and storytelling• UX process and research presentation• Visual design and UI quality• Portfolio presentation• Areas that may be preventing recruiters from shortlisting meI'm looking for constructive criticism and suggestions on how I can improve as a designer.https://www.behance.net/vincyvarghese3Thank you for your time and feedback!
When designing digital products in Figma, most of the focus naturally goes to usability, visual design, user flows, and prototyping. However, one area that often gets overlooked in early design stages is security thinking, especially how design decisions can impact system vulnerabilities later in development. As more designers work on SaaS platforms, dashboards, and apps that handle sensitive user data, a question arises:Should UX/UI designers consider security testing (like penetration testing) as part of the product design lifecycle? While penetration testing is usually handled by developers or security teams, many security issues actually originate from early design decisions, such as:Authentication and login flow design Password reset and account recovery flows User permission and role structures Data input and form handling design API-driven features and third-party integrations Exposure of sensitive information in UI states or error messagesIf these areas are not designed carefully
Hello,When I import images into a FigJam board, they don’t retain their original size. This is especially noticeable when importing multiple screenshots. They are not placed on the canvas at their original pixel dimensions, which makes it difficult to compare them accurately. Some images appear larger or smaller than others, even though I need them to keep their original size.I couldn’t find a setting or workflow that ensures images are imported at their original dimensions. Is there a way to import images into FigJam while preserving their original pixel size?
I accidentally purchased a seat under the wrong team organization and need to move it to the correct team. I was planning to purchase additional seats, but I need them all to be associated with the same team.I've contacted support multiple times and have not received a response in over 24 hours. At this point, I'm unable to move forward with onboarding my team, and the lack of support is making me reconsider whether this is the right platform for us.Has anyone successfully transferred a seat from one team to another? If not, can support issue a refund so I can repurchase the seat under the correct team?Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to get a refund or restore my AI credits. I tried building a prototype of a website today a few times prompt was given but FIGMA crashes out, no outcome was given, not a signle version of the prototype, but all of my prompts were consumedd. Started on 3000 now I have 1800, and NOT A SINGLE OUTCOME
Hey there! This is the follow-up to my older reply about Figma vs browser font rendering. Can’t update that topic, but eager to share some new case. So I post this summary so that searching people could find them. CSS solutions in short:# Fixes optical sizing for variable fontsfont-optical-sizing: auto# Anti-aliasing and font-smoothing-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;-moz-osx-font-smoothing: grayscale;font-smooth: never; Case: optical sizing mismatchVariable font in Figma vs static font in the browser Optical sizing disabled in CSSQuick check: if the Google Fonts specimen with "Optical Size" ON matches Figma but your site doesn't — suspect opsz before chasing anti-aliasing.Example case: Literata is a variable font with an opsz axis. Figma picks the right cut per size automatically. We loaded a static weight: 700 instance — opsz stayed on the text cut (~14), so large headings used the wrong glyph shapes. Smoothing can't fix that. Case: optical sizing mismatchFigma renderers uses font
Hi everyone,The Figma MCP connector won't connect in Claude Desktop, and I've run out of things to try on my end. Hoping someone here has seen this.**Environment**- Claude Desktop (Windows), latest version- Figma installed as a personal plugin in Claude Desktop- Connector target: mcp.figma.com (cloud connector)**What happens**Clicking "Connect" on the Figma connector opens a claude.ai start-auth URL, and the API immediately returns:{"type":"error","error":{"type":"not_found_error","message":"Server not found"}}The desktop app also shows two banners: "Server not found" and "Failed to disconnect from server". The OAuth flow never starts — it fails before Figma is ever contacted.**Already tried, no change**1. Disconnecting the connector in the app → fails with "Failed to disconnect from server"2. Fully uninstalling the Figma plugin, restarting Claude Desktop, reinstalling → exact same error, and the connector reuses the identical server ID every time. So the broken reference seems to pers
Error ID: d04f9b10a85c4875bc773e86198d7644When I want to make changes from the main, I can't do it, and I get an error message: How can I solve this issue?
Hi Figma Support Team,I am writing to politely request a refund for a recent automated charge on my account. On June 4, 2026, my payment method was automatically charged for invoice number OL0MCCIT-0006. I did not intend to upgrade or renew this subscription, and I have not used any of the paid features or extra seats associated with this charge.I have already updated my team settings and canceled the plan to prevent any further charges. Could you please review my account activity and process a full refund for this invoice?Thank you for your time and assistance.
Hello,I'm having a problem with the text tool. There's a sort of line across the text block, and part of it is invisible. When I test with shorter text, there's no problem. I reopened some old drafts I made six months ago and discovered that this line is now present in the text blocks... I don't understand what's happening. Does anyone have any ideas? Here's a screenshot of my problem.
This morning I was surprised by a charge for the Full Plan subscription on my credit card. I am not using Figma, and as soon as I noticed the charge, I immediately canceled the subscription.I would like to request that this new subscription charge be revoked and refunded, as I cannot afford this expense at the moment.Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
I cannot confirm charges or cancellation status from here, but if you canceled your Professional plan, you keep access to Professional features until the end of the current billing period, and then the team downgrades to Starter. For the accidentally upgraded seat, new paid seats on Professional are added to the next invoice, and if your plan has renewed under the updated billing model, they can be prorated from the day the seat was approved. Please tell me which page shows you being moved back to Professional—such as Admin, Settings, or Billing—and whether your subscription is monthly or annual.
When I Click “Publish” on my Make project, I see a “Missing Fonts” warning: Clicking the warning shows the missing fonts are Menlo and Halcom: However, these 2 fonts are not being used at all in the project. I can confirm this after having downloaded the codebase to Sublime Text and perfoming a project-wide search for “menlo” and “halcom” and not having found any occurrences. Make itself confirms this via prompt: I have done all these steps and can’t find a solution. The official documentation page for this subject (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/38694569552151-Upload-a-web-font-to-Figma-Make) which is reached by clicking “Learn More” on that very screen, says there should be a Delete button on the fonts:However , as can be seen from the second screenshot in this post, there isn’t such a thing.I’ll follow Make’s own advice and ignore that warning, but it is an odd and annoying thing that it happens.I know I could try downloading the fonts, uploading them and seeing if ei
Hi everyone,I have a design system library in a dedicated Figma file, while my product designs are spread across different files within the same project.Currently, all of my primitive variables (colors, numbers, and strings) are stored in a single "Primitive" collection. I now need to add sizing modes to support responsive design, but these modes are only relevant for sizing variables—not for colors.I'd like to move all color variables into a separate "Primitive Colors" collection. However, I'm concerned about breaking the existing connections to components, styles, semantic variables, and design files that consume the library. Is there a way to move color variables to a new collection while preserving their existing references and links? If not, what is the recommended migration process?I've searched the community forums but haven't found a clear answer.Any help or best practices would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi, I was unexpectedly charged $53.55 on my recent invoice due to accidental automatic seat upgrades. I intended to only have a single Pro seat for myself. I have already downgraded the accidental editors to 'Viewer-restricted' and updated my team settings to manual approval. Could you please look into this and issue a refund for the accidental seat charges?
I'm opening this ticket because the Figma AI feature for renaming layers is not working. When I click Rename Layers, the loader appears, keeps spinning for a long time, and then nothing happens. The dialog simply closes without renaming anything.Platform and version: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1, Figma Desktop App 126.4.13.Account: Professional (paid).Scope: Happens across all files.Restart: I've tried restarting the Figma app, restarting my Mac, disabling iCloud Private Relay and Tailscale VPN. Nothing changed.Timeline: At least 2 weeks.Could you please look into this?
Via the chat i opened a ticket but i did not get a ticket or see the ticket in my requests...
If I change the icon in a button and then change the state of a button from default to hover, the icon color does NOT change. (works fine if you don’t change the icon)I’m using stroke icons, and the scope settings in the color variable is set up to handle stroke. Please let me know what I need to do to so the swapped icon will change color on override.Video:https://monosnap.com/file/RUUxOXXXdznZoemEG4Aow5wO4As8Vx
