Hi all! Just wanted to have some clarify on Figma Sites different breakpoints. I’m currently creating different size breakpoints for my website.  I usually go with breakpoints that are something like:1600px > 1280px (Figma Preset) > 1024px > 800px > 360px Now that I’ve created these breakpoints, it appears that on published site it only shows one breakpoint size on different desktop computer screens, which is 1280px.  Doest the Figma Sites only have that screen breakpoint available on Beta version?Are the other desktop breakpoints useless? Since the design of the 1280px is too big for smaller laptops and too small for bigger desktops, how can I find a workaround for this? Thank you for advance.

Is there a way to enter variable values manually by name directly into input fields, without selecting them from the panel? For instance, I have spacing values like 100 = 8px, 200 = 16px, 300 = 24px, and so on. I was wondering if there’s an option to type their names or values—like space-100 or 100=8—directly into the input fields and have them automatically filled with the corresponding values. Repeatedly choosing these values from the panel slows me down. I think allowing manual entry would speed up the workflow and improve precision, especially when reusing known token values.

So I tried to update my resume in figma (why not, if everything is in figma) and I have 2 page 1080X1398 simple text and nothing no image, or any kind of graphic and the file size is 3.5MB. I had a pdf resume with just 90KB file size. is there a way I can reduce the file size problem is there is no PDF compressor tools working, hardly reduce 30-40% of file size not more than that.

Its been a few weeks now and I have been waiting to gain access of Figma Make. I know the rollouts are happening slowly and everyone will gain access soon but still would love to know the timeline. I have a professional plan and I would prefer having an edge in getting the access to feature early than others. I see few others already using it and posting about it. Hi iI’m new to Figma  and have only been using it for about a month now. Up until now I’ve uploading svg images from canva into Figma with no issues.  However this morning a number of sections from my screens where images have been uploaded have gone black? But not all images. I feel as its connected to SVG files but its not been an issue until this morning.. I also just tried using png and it was coming out fine. But this method is not really not idea and lacks the customisable edge and flexibility on splitting the image etc unlike SVG. Also when I do the demo mode, no issues as everything looks normal with no black image blocks appear can anyone help? New to this 

I tried copying my design into Site. It looks good in this editor view with Gobold from Google Fonts: But there are still Missing Fonts notices: I replaced so many times but it could not show up in preview: Sorry that this is my private work so I cannot share the file, but I hope somebody could guide me to the solution, or explain what happens to the fonts in editor and in preview. I can describe the situation as detailed as you need.Do I need to do any extra steps to get these fonts showed up in my site?

When im on a different window and alt+tab back to figma, it loads the home tab instead of the tab i was on before. This is extremely annoying cause i have to then navigate to the desired figma tab every time. I switch between vs code and figma 1000 times per day and its doing my head in. Is this intended behaviour or a bug? I dont know why it would be intended.

The blue circle that appears every time there’s an library update keeps showing up, it tells me there’s updates from some years ago (which there’s not) and when I click it, it says “library updated” but the dot keeps appearing. This happen in all my layers and all my files.  

This is painful that I cannot navigate when there are more tabs which overflows… Clicking “...” button on the nav bar’s left side is only let me showing “recently closed tabs” only… Any chance the desktop app can let the user (like me) to easily navigate tabs even those are hidden in small size of width of window? 

Good morning everyone Please I have been dealing with this prototype issues and every video I watch doesn't address the issue.Lately my prototype keep showing up of the screen,it doesn't display in the full selected phone frame,I have tried my best to solve it but it not working..Pease I need help on how to fix it,so I can be able to view my prototype in the full screen of the selected phone/frame size .Thank you very much 

I am trying to install code connect on my Mac, for an iOS app.I installed npm (latest to date) npm install -g npm@11.4.1 I installed code connect npx figma connect --token=<my token>I selected my components and hit returnand consistently got this error message:I tried from my office and from hotspot, so unlikely caused by network issues.Does anyone have any idea?

Like many others, I’d like to reference components from our design system or other style files when creating something in Make.  This page on the Figma Help site says a Design Library can be attached to each Make file so I can reference components from it, but I don’t see the Browse Libraries link the article mentions to attach it - specifically this direction from the article, “Above your components, click Browse libraries”.  The Browse Libraries link isn’t there for me, only a random assortment of components seem to appear. Maybe I need to move the Make file to a different folder on my account?  Any advice would be helpful. Hi All! I using of this project, but I have problem with set color border. I can't choosing light grey from pallets color. I have opportunities only choose dark grey, but is opportunitie set color for font: dark and ligh grey. Why there aren't set that same for font and border? I am new to Figma and come from a programming background (C#, HTML and CSS, Java Script). After viewing the appropriate videos and reading your official written documentation, I feel that none of it helps me understand the fundamentals. There does not appear to be any “Top Down” Videos or documentation. Of course, there is a lot of fragments covered in many videos and documentation but nothing I can find that ties it all together. From my perspective, and hr. or two spent with one-on-one training would save me many many hours sifting through multiple videos and documentation documents. While I understand that Figma does not currently offer one-on-one training, there must be some Figma expert out there that is willing to do a couple of paid hours of training. Anyone in the community interested?

Hello, I am trying to get my prototype of a mobile app to have a fixed (not scrolling) header and footer. The elements don’t scroll when I select “fixed position” but the content behind them does not scroll all the way, leaving a bit of desired space on the page behind the fixed elements. Anyone know how I can get the page behind the fixed elements to scroll all the way? Anyone else running into this issue?

Hello! For context I’m working on an application that syncs design system files from Figma and compiles them into CSS for multiple sites.I’m currently trying to implement some additional styles for links and trying to get the text decoration color / text decoration style / etc. from the Figma REST API, but it is not present in the styles or nodes. Is there currently a plan / way to get this data from the REST APIs or a timeline on this being available?Thanks!

I have a hard time finding the corresponding Chinese fonts in Figma. I have a persistent issue that is driving me bonkers.  I have a design system (DS) doc that I include and use on all of our design files.  I recently updated some of the variables and re-published the document.  I then ran the update on the design file and it appeared to have updated however, one variable in particular says it still needs to be updated.  I have tried to update that single variable over and over but it never clears.  I can confirm the variable has been changed and I can use it in the design file but, as far as the system is concerned it still needs to be updated.  I have tried the following to clear it:Shut down Figma and restart Re-edit the variable and publish/update again Clear Figma cache (desktop)When I cleared the cache the issue was gone for a short bit of time but returned and I can’t clear it again.  I have included a screenshot of the variable in the update screen:Please help me resolve this as it is super distracting and frustrating.I should also note that if

the problem is with the colors interface, it's been a month now, but it still hasn't been fixed, what can I do??? 

THe issue seems to apply when i’m attaching either an image or a Figma component. Button to “send” the prompt is disabled. Removing the attached image or component makes the button functional again.

Hello I have to export a lot of assets for a client, can be several thousands. I noticed that when exporting, some assets still have that pixelated rendering that looks like progressive JPG. I’m quite sure this is because when exporting, Figma hasn’t finished loading all the HighRed images. So I tried scrolling through all my images at more than 100% zoom and waited for Figma to load the complete image when it wasn’t. Did that through all my assets, launched export, and it still had that pixelation on some of them. I think by the time I had scrolled through all my images, Figma just decided to go back to low res for some of them, which is not very nice… Do you guys have any idea how I could resolve this? TL;DR I want to know if anyone has explored using “Preferred Values” instance swapping as opposed to large Component Sets as a way to improve memory performance in both the Library and downstream project Figma Files.I have a Library file with very complex components for charts in the UI. The components allow other designers to deeply configure a chart, and every aspect has nested variants for controls to be used in downstream project files. Each chart has many nested instances for controlling aspects such as the axis labels, number of columns and rows, the marks, count of series to be presented, and the legend, and the state of the data.A single nested instance could contain hundreds of variants, as many as 5 tiers deep.  For example, a Trend Line instance can be configured with Variants for line style, which series it is, how many columns are in the data field, and the type of data.This instance is set within a chart with other sibling instances, and higher tier interaction patterns b

 We have a problem with updating components. We have published the updates, but they are not arriving in the file where the instance is located.  What can we do? They are not hidden with a point.  

the drop shadow on my elements are very boxy and glitchy. it is creating an issue. Whenever I zoom, the dropshadows gets weird and boxy and when i export, they get exported in the same way like this
